so good

These barbarians are almost too sweet to exist even in a book. This is such a good series and I highly recommend it!

I've read and loved all of the Not So Savage Barbarians stories, and I'll be honest, I downloaded this box set (hurrah for Kindle Unlimited) with the sole intention of just reading the two short stories that were previously available only to subscribers. So, here's the thing, I got completely sucked in and ended up re-reading all the existing stories as well as the new ones. They were just as good the second time around!

The first new story - The Barbarian's Confession is the story of Tavik and his best friend since childhood, Saneth. Their story has been alluded to several times in other stories and it was great to see them finally get together. The other story is billed as My Barbarian Saviour, but is actually The Unexpected Barbarian, which was not new to me, but I was happy to re-read. This is the story of how Briar was given as tribute and then kidnapped by another clan only to fall in love with the Barbarian to whom he was given as a joke.

All of these stories are so much fun and make easy short reads and I'm glad to have read them again.
