As a standalone book, this feels like a task to read. However, being interested in the subject matter- the abridged narrative in the book helps provide an overarching storyline to understand the CG Power turnaround.

Though the language, pace and editing leaves much to be desired, the content is infallible making this book a manual for undertaking a successful turnaround in India. For those interested in the subject matter- I distilled some nuances (read: caveats) to my avoid turnarounds with a 10 foot pole- in this article: https://www.business-standard.com/mar...

A well meaning CEO chronicling his tenure at the helm of one of India’s best turnaround stories wrapped himself in endless prose narrating the events over and over again without making much sense in the end. A very badly edited book, even through its hardly 200 pages odd.
