There is some progress in the teacher-and-student storyline as well. Given their relationship, it makes sense that they’re cautious, but they remain as awkward and clumsy as ever. Like everyone else in this series, really—and that’s exactly what makes it so appealing.

The standout this time was the newly drawn final chapter. With it, all four pairs are now connected in one way or another, which felt deeply satisfying. Each character is experiencing their own mix of joy and pain, yet the story quietly reminds you that they are all still moving forward. The way it conveys that is genuinely skillful.
