Daniela Murrays Book I Can Save Her, is a tightly wound psychological thriller that turns the quit beauty of Ouray,Colotado into a chilling trap. Murray excels at blurring the lines between safety and threats. There is a bleak, atmospheric descent into fear and obsession, and a reminder that some people are far more dangerous than they appear. She has you questioning Who you can trust from start to finish. I could not put the book down.

I Can Save Her is a gripping romantic psychological thriller that explores escape, obsession, and the long shadow of past trauma. The story follows Dani, a woman fleeing a controlling and dangerous relationship, who is trying to rebuild her life while staying one step ahead of the fear that follows her. When she collides with Matt, nothing is quite as simple as it seems, and the tension builds steadily as trust, truth, and safety are all called into question.

While the first couple of chapters took me a minute to get through as I settled into the pacing and characters, once the story found its footing, it completely pulled me in. Dani’s inner world is written with depth and authenticity—her paranoia, strength, and determination feel real, making her journey both emotional and compelling. That constant sense of unease kept me questioning everyone alongside her, which made the reading experience immersive and intense.

The storytelling balances suspense with moments of emotional growth and unexpected warmth. The small-town setting is vividly described and adds to the atmosphere, grounding the tension while allowing the characters room to breathe. The twists kept me engaged, and the pacing eventually made this a hard book to put down.

Overall, I Can Save Her is a strong debut with an engaging plot, solid character work, and a reading experience that becomes increasingly addictive as the story unfolds. I really enjoyed this book and would happily recommend it to readers who enjoy psychological thrillers with emotional depth and romantic tension.

I can save her. Is Daniela Murray first novel. And if this is what Daniela is giving us. Readers we are in for a fantastic world by her. The plot was well thought out. Awesome characters each having their own personality. Dani is a young 27year old who has to endure abuse, trauma, belittling from her jerk of a boss Keller. He's basically a man with a small d**k so thinks been abuse gives him the right to feel great. One day Dani has had enough and records him abusing her. And demands 150000 to keep her quiet and leave the agency. Her best friend Ali has no idea the real reason why she's left as Dani has been ashamed all these years. She moves to Colorado for 6months to build her life back together. But boy does she find another type of abuse and trouble. Ones heart breaks for everything she's been through and going through. The town with so many secrets. But beautiful scenes captures Dani's photography eye. Dani gets more than she bargains for.
my favorite parts was when Dani says this to herself...
*I'm stronger now. Not because I trained or survived the shit storm that came my way, but because I'm done hiding and chose to fight for myself and trust Matt.
Trust isn't perfect. It's messy, painful, and sometimes downright f**ked up.'

More importantly, I chose to believe in myself. I believe that I am worthy of something good. Something real. I believe that I can be loved without being broken. I believe that I can save the scared little Girl inside me. If there's anything I learn thorough all of this, it's that I can forgive myself. I can give my inner CHILD THE LOVE SHE ALWAYS DESERVED AND I CAN SAVE HER. "
This last part made me cry as I can relate as a victim of abuse. You always feel not worthy. It took years the courage to pick up the pieces and live again. This novel will give others hope to carry on and fight for themselves.

Daniela I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next. May your writing journey grew from strength to strength. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this wonderful journey with you.

From the very first page, I Can Save Her pulled me in and refused to let go. I could immediately tell this was going to be a suspenseful, addictive read, and it absolutely delivered. The story follows Dani, a young woman trapped in a controlling and dangerous relationship, as she chooses to escape her abuser and redefine who she is. Her journey toward self-worth, strength, and the possibility of real love is both emotional and gripping.
Dani carries her trauma and paranoia with her throughout the book, which left me constantly questioning everyone she encountered. That lingering sense of distrust made the story even more intense and kept me fully invested. The small town of Ouray, Colorado is beautifully described, and having been there myself, I was able to picture every scene clearly.
This psychological thriller was one of the fastest books I’ve ever read because I simply couldn’t put it down (sorry family—mama had to read). Daniella, I am so proud of your accomplishment with this debut novel. You’ve gained a fan for life, and I cannot wait to see where you take us next.

I'm gonna be honest, I applied for this ARC back in November so I had forgotten what the story was supposed to even be about, and I genuinely believe it added to the overall reading experience to go in blind. The beginning started off rocky for the FMC. And like I believe the author intended, I was suspicious of everything and everyone. I didn't like Matt when he was introduced. There was something off and predatory about his behavior. That being said, I absolutely ate this book up. At no point did I know where this book was going. It was so good I didn't want to put it down. Rarely do I read thrillers and feel the anxiety building within myself but this book was able to capture that. A little disappointed with Rhys's character development, I was rooting for him :( but everything came to the perfect close at the end. I really look forward to read more of Daniela's work in the future. She has a new fan out of me!

This book was an ARC provided by the author for free and I am leaving this post voluntarily.

I Can Save Her is a roller coaster of emotions, a story that pulls you in from the very first chapter. The book follows a young girl, Dani, trapped in a dangerous, controlling relationship (with her abuser) and her journey to self love, empowerment and actual love. This story unfolds with intense emotion, unexpected twists, and a deep look into loyalty, trauma, and the hope of second chances.

This book blends suspense with raw, and realistic emotion. You’ll feel every moment of fear, frustration, and determination right alongside the characters. Their bond feels genuine, and the stakes are high enough to keep you turning pages.

If you love emotionally charged, suspenseful romances with characters worth rooting for, a lot of thrills, this book is absolutely a must-read. I can’t recommend it enough.

This was my first time reading a book by Daniella Murray, and also my first experience with the thriller genre and all I can say is WOW!! From the very first chapter, the story completely pulled me in and I couldn’t put it down. The pacing was gripping, the suspense was constant, and the plot was packed with unexpected twists and turns that kept me second-guessing everything. Just when I thought I had figured out what was happening or who was responsible, the story took a sharp turn and proved me wrong. The author does an incredible job of manipulating your assumptions and keeping the tension high throughout. The ending was absolutely phenomenal and tied everything together in a way that was both shocking and satisfying.

This review reflects my honest opinion, given in exchange for receiving an ARC.

Whew! That was a wild ride! Definitely didn’t know where the story was going or how it was going to all play out - it had me guessing right up until the end and even then I wasn’t so sure.

The author’s ability to set the scene, made me feel like I was right there watching it all unfold.

It was like “Corrupt” meets “Keep It In The Family” with maybe a sprinkle of “Hidden Pictures” maybe even a little “Yellowstone” thrown in.

This is the author’s first novel. I can’t wait to see where she takes us next.

This book had me hooked from the first chapter. I didn't want to stop reading.
The vibes were chilly and mysterious which kept me guessing throughout.I look forward to reading more of this author's books.

I gave it 4.25 stars because I found the characters annoying at times. Daniella for someone whose been abused was stupid trusting (which was the point sure but she made me so angry at times).

I also felt icky with Matt while Rhys was just okay.

I CAN SAVE HER is a roller coaster ride of a debut novel from Daniela Murray! I was hooked from early on, the twists and turns had me constantly second guessing, not trusting anyone. The setting is a beautiful backdrop to a twisted reality. Dani is relatable and I was rooting for her throughout the story. There is a very intriguing love triangle, secrets, and deception. A solid 4 stars! I will look forward to a sequel if one is planned 👀

Okay what a roller coaster. 😂 the first chapter or so had me HOOKED, but then for a while I kind of fell off of it. Granted it was around the holidays but I was struggling to stick with it as it felt cheesey… but then the switch flips and everything makes sense and OMG I couldn’t put it down!

I could definitely see this as a book that would get someone into or back into reading!

Can’t wait for Murray’s next novel 😎😍

This was a fun, fast-paced read that kept me turning pages, especially toward the end. The story really picks up with some dramatic twists I genuinely didn’t see coming, which made the finale especially engaging.
The timeline feelt a bit disjointed at times to me which could be on me, and there were a few moments where I wished certain things had been explored or explained in more depth. The FMC is very much a heart-on-her-sleeve kind of character. She spills her thoughts easily and tends to trust without hesitation, which will feel relatable to some readers, even if it made me want to gently shake her now and then when red flags flew right by.
Overall it’s a quick thrilling read that doesn’t take long to get through. If you’re looking for something dramatic, entertaining, and easy to devour in a short sitting, this one fits the bill.

This book was so suspenseful! It was sad, funny, bold, awkward, spicy, scary, and relieving. I felt deeply for the characters! The imagery was so beautiful that I googled the city IRL. The spiritual retreat scene was so powerful and healing! The writing was smooth, and the plot twists kept it super interesting. The idea of choosing a city to live in, and a house, and what you want in your furnished rooms, is SO APPEALING! The storyline was original/unique and there were lots of specific details that kept me alert. A book with no boring parts?? ✅

As a whole, the book isn't bad. However, the FMC is wishy washy and all over the place. I get that the author wanted her to grow into a strong minded woman, but the decisions she made were not helping her get there. There were also some inconsistencies in the story, weird time lines, and some things just didn't make sense. With all that said, I did enjoy the twists that come towards the end of the book. I read to be entertained, and I was.

I received an ARC of “I can save her”. Overall I really enjoyed the story telling. I wish it was more thriller focused. The scenes between the “love” interests seemed very rushed. I just am not a fan of books where all the men can’t keep it together because the MC is just so beautiful. With that being said I still give it 4 stars. I like Daniela’s writing style as a whole.

Do you like romance with some psychological thriller? Yes? Then this book is for you! Daniela brings her characters to life and makes this book feel so real. Then come the twists! Like Frieda McFadden type twists! I couldn’t put this book down except when I had no choice. This debut book for Daniela Murray is amazing. And I can’t way to see more she brings to the coffee table!

WOW WOW WOW!!! I absolutely loved this book! It’s the perfect mix of a psychological thriller and romance! I was hooked from the first chapter.

Dani, Rhys, and Matt were so intriguing throughout the book. I couldn’t decide who was telling the truth the entire time. Seriously, I was 80% into the book and I still had no idea what was going to happen next. I’m still trying to process how it ended.

Check the triggers is you have any. There are parts that could trigger past trauma. I love how Dani was about to overcome her past. I love when a book makes me proud of the fictional characters lol.

I can’t recommend this book enough! Very quick and easy read. I felt like I was there with the characters.

A Brave, Powerful, and Necessary Read

Review by. Spirit Mama Baheya

This book was jarring at first—triggering, if I’m being honest. But I kept reading, grounded in the truth that when one woman hurts, all women hurt. That awareness pulled me in and kept me turning the pages.

I CAN SAVE HER is an emotional, adrenaline-filled journey—raw, honest, and deeply moving. It takes courage to write a story like this, and that courage is felt on every page.

I had the honor of meeting Daniela before I ever knew she had written a book. We met on a retreat in the majestic Colorado Rocky Mountains, where she mentioned her writing in passing. Reading her work now feels full circle.

Daniela is a phenomenal, gifted woman—full of love, depth, and talent. This book is her masterpiece, and I highly recommend it to anyone who values truth, healing, and the power of women’s voices.

Proud of you, Daniela. 💛

If you read on KU, be sure to back track to the trigger warnings. This book is a fast read that takes you through a whirlwind of a character finding her own way after sexual trauma. It isn't a heavy read, but it will take you a journey of healing, growing, and sacrifice

One day read because I could not put this book down. Even contacted the writer! Because WOW! Dani is so strong to go through all she has and continues to face after she left her world behind. I didn’t know if I even liked Matt in the beginning. But I have grown to love their story. If you are looking for a great read, not a lot of smut, but a TON of thriller, this is so worth reading! ****Please read the triggers before starting this book as it does contain dark material.****

Okayyy I couldn’t put it down! I’m rating it 5 stars for binge-worthiness! It was written so well, so descriptive…I felt like I was right there in each scene all along.

Spoiler alert: I have decided I’m not cut out for THIS type of thriller (regarding Merle🙈) because I think I’ll be checking the shower and back seat for DAYS, granted I know I’m sensitive to that kind of story line…but wow, did not see it coming. 😅
Even so, the story hooked me…and I had to finish it. I loved the development of each character, the mystery, the twists and turns and how it all tied together. Bravo on your debut novel, Daniela!!!
