This book has a great background of Washington Redskins/Football Team/Commanders history and then focuses on the 2024 season. A reader can pick up this book knowing nothing about football and be able to follow the history and the 2024 season in detail. The author sets up the pre game talk and then has a header with the date, opponent and location, making it an easy read. For those of us that have been Washington football fans since before the turn of the century, this book provides a lot of history from the previous owner and how things changed once the current owner bought the team. There is good insight from various staff at WJFK as well as national sports journalists. This is a very good read and I was able to visualize certain parts of the book come to life.

A thoroughly enjoyable account of the history of the Washington Commanders, nee, Redskins, from their origination, their glory days with five trips to the Super Bowl, to their remarkable 2024 season where they were led by a remarkable young phenom QB, Jayden Daniels, to the NFC divisional championship game. A must read by all Commanders, nee, Redskins, fans. And least I forget - Eat it, Dan Snyder.
