Amazing opportunity to ARC read for this author once again, and lord she never disappoints. After reading The Pact & The Promise, a reverse haram duet, I went in blind to this book. Didn’t even bother reading the blurb, just knew I wanted more from her. I wasn’t expecting a rockstar sapphic romance, and even though it’s not what I usually read, I’m 100% glad I did. The tension and the relationship that builds between Celeste and Noelle is chef’s kiss! Celeste is a badass, the way she’s described, she sounds gorgeous as hell. Despite Noelle’s abusive past, her submissive side to Celeste’s dominance grows to be a beautiful relationship. Helena Sage, of course, always has some suspense in her books and she’ll get your heart racing in more ways then one as she always has spice sprinkled in too 😘

I don’t have all the right words for how much I loved this book but it was such a good read!!! Another one of those books I wish I could go back and read for the first time!

I really wanted to love this book, but unfortunately, the writing just didn’t work for me. It felt flat and strangely empty, and some of the descriptions dragged on without adding much to the story. A lot of the dialogue and writing also came across as overly cliché and cheesy—and not in a fun way.
I thought the premise had potential, especially the main character’s journey from an abusive relationship into discovering herself as a submissive, but it ended up being far less compelling than I expected. I never really connected with the characters or felt invested in what was happening.
This was my first book from this author, and unfortunately the writing style missed the mark enough that I’m not sure I’d try another.

I liked the concept of this book but had some issues with the execution. Noelle’s entire back story (when you get to it) is kind of strange but I also kind of anticipated it. The whole going from an abusive relationship to being a sub for someone you have known a month was kind of wild. It just felt like there was no substance or depth to the plot or the characters. This was a very entertaining read but the ending and the story just fell flat for me.

between really simple writing and the insane plot of replacing one abusive ex to another emotionally unstable relationship, especially one filled with unhealthy obsession, this book left me wishing i could unread it.

When I read the blurb for this book, I was instantly intrigued by multiple parts of it.

Save to say I went into this book with a lot of expectations, and oh boy were they met.
Both main characters are written so beautifully and powerful in their own unique way.
Both are full characters, have their own personality (apart from each other) and evolve throughout the book.
Even the side/support characters were given a lot of attention, and had their own story running. Stories that weren’t necessarily linked to the main characters.
As far as the setting goes, the whole being on tour part was the best setting to place this story in. It was explained just enough to understand what was going on, without it becoming too tedious.
The story itself was… A lot, in a good way.
I loved how they dealt with everything regarding both Noelle’s and Celeste’s past.
This is as far as I will go, just to make sure I don’t spoil anything, but definitely go read it.
I read the book in 2 sittings (in one day) because I was just unable to put it down.

This was a delightful find thanks to tik tok. This is the first sapphic story from this author, so I was a little apprehensive going in...but she knocks it out of the park. I hope she continues this series as a sapphic series, because there are definitely characters I want to see find their happily ever afters if possible. Actually the main negative I have for this book is that the majority of side characters are flat and never get a chance to truly shine. The ones that do though are great.
Celeste and Noelle were a delightful, toxic af pairing that was fun to read. You don't get the full scope of the toxicness of both of them until the end. They manage to stay away from each other for the first half of the book, and then there is constant leveling up of their romance. There is the lightest dusting of kink in this book, but not as much as the author seemed to be advertising in her tik toks. Still pretty good though. The thing I loved about this book is that she doesn't just focus on the physical aspect of their relationship. She takes pains to develop the emotional connection as well. You can feel them falling in love, not just lust.
Another point in this book's favor is the lack of third act breakup. There are several instances where it would have happened for anyone else, but they actually talk and grow as individuals and become closer. It's a breath of fresh air.

I was so excited to jump into another book written by this amazing author, and my goodness I was so glad I got the chance to arc read this. It really did not disappoint.
This sapphic rockstar book seriously had a hold on me, I couldn’t put it down once I got into it. The characters, Celeste and Noelle, are what did it for me mostly, they were both so captivating and I was so drawn into learning about them as the book progressed. Learning who they were individually - all their pasts, fears and hopes. Then their slowly growing obsessive dynamic together also. They had so much longing and tension between them. The boss x employee trope was so well done here. The perfect amount of spice too? *chefs kiss*

It has an intensity that had me on the edge of my seat and highlighting little snippets knowing it could be important later on. I loved the setting and pace of this too. Wth was that ending? I was really enjoying reading this book and the build up. I also really enjoyed getting to know both Noelle and Celeste but the ending really did ruin this book for me. We are supposed to believe that after everything that a woman like Celeste that has been hella traumatized from her ex is just going to forgive Noelle from lying? And Noelle didn’t just lie she schemed her way into Celeste’s life by manipulating her in so many different ways. I couldn’t believe everything she actually did in the end. And Celeste’s just forgives her with barely any explanation. Noelle also stole the ring, the picture and cut a chunk of her hair out? And we are supposed to see that as some cute quirky gesture? Come on and she is just so in love she forgives her and understands. No fucking way! I was so disappointed in Celeste’s character in the end. I am a spiritual girl myself so I came into this thinking it was going to be something completely different. I did love the tarot card reading and the ritual that Celeste did. Those were really cool witchy aspects. But the ending made me feel like I wasted my time reading this book and I hate that because these characters were growing on me.

This book had my bisexual self wanting to live the life of these two characters. The tension between these two characters were so tense, spicy, suspenseful, and had you on the edge of your seat! At some points I had to give myself a break because it was just so overwhelming in the best way possible! I haven’t read a book this good in a very long time and I have so many bookmarks, so many quotes highlighted like this book is eye-opening on so many levels!
It has a perfect amount of sexy time, it has the perfect amount of character development and thought processes and learning how to let go and just live life for yourself. Once you have this book in your hands, I promise you you’re going to have a hard time putting it down even if your face is red and your body is feeling things that are intense 🤭
The fact that I could find myself and parts of my real life, within every character of this book shows how much talent this author truly has!!! I wish I could give this book more than five stars because this is a book I can never forget and a book that helps you realize that sometimes you have to let go and just let the universe take control!!!

eu acho importante falar aqui que não é que eu não gostei do livro, eu ate me diverti, mas eu acho que tem umas coisas que foram meio mal feitas e outras que poderiamos ter explorado mais.
eu queria que a noelle fosse uma full blown stalker, ia ser tão legal, serio. eu queria que ela não fosse a pessoa mentirosa que ela foi o livro inteiro e sim uma escrotinha mas com muita personalidade. o livro acabou e eu simplesmente não sei qual a personalidade dela.
a celeste é legal, mas assim, bicha, vc emtra num relacionamento fechado com uma pessoa não monogâmica vc está FADADA a ser chifrada, desculpa. eu achei que ela ia ser muito desgraçada, que iam ter vendido informações dela, que ela ia ter pego uma doença das traições da pessoa, que ia ser traida com a irmã dela, algo muito babado, mas foi super anticlimático.
acho que o material de base está ai e eu gostei de tudo, mas eu acho que a história poderia sermuito mais interessante se as personagens fossem mais gostáveis e mais interessantes.

Rockband, suspense and intense moments, traveling on the road with the main characters and supporting characters that are made to be just as important is fantastic! I love when the character main and supporting are all characterized so well that you don't forget them in any parts of the book. Noelle and Celeste are great together but how they are individually is amazing to see come together. I loved how they dealt with past traumas and problems and this will have you wanting to read it non stop!

Couldn’t put this book down. I loved the build up of tension between Celeste and Noelle. The miscommunications snd past trauma they have to endure to get through the relationship is very well written. I loved the suspense component of it at the end and the varies twists and turns it leads you through. The spice scenes are definitely a thing of beauty and had me gagged and one point. Overall a great read!

So this is my first sapphic romance so I wasn’t sure what to expect- but Ms Helena Sage never disappoints. She is Queen of the thriller romances for sure! This book touched lots of places for me emotionally and as always a beautiful ending! Writing was wonderful and truly enjoyed all the twists and turns I didn’t see coming 🖤🖤

The way I devoured this book should be studied 😩. There was never a dull moment and the push and pull between the FMC had me kicking my feet. This was my first book by this author and I can say I was not disappointed!!! Just read the book I promise it is 100% worth all your time !!! I hope there are more books to come in the series .

Have you ever had a book pull you out of a reading slump only to turn around and throw you into a book hangover that makes you wonder around not knowing what you’re going to do with your life now?!?! Because that’s what this book did to me and I’m still not okay. So yeah, go read this and get wrecked in the best ways possible!

This book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The plot twist, the spice, the details, I just couldn't get enough. Something about the way Helena writes pulls you in and you just can't get enough! Give it a try, you'll read it in under 24 hrs and she'll keep you coming back for more!

Loving the author I just jumped right into the book. I realized quickly that I loved the tension amd angst I found. I ended up having to pace myself quiet a bit. Lol. The relationships amd secrets kinda take you by surprise but all is explained 😁😁

I devoured this book!!!! Love, love, loved it. It’s spicy with a push and pull dynamic that made me feel all the feels. Just the right amount of toxic and totally relatable. I honestly couldn’t put it down and finished it in two days.

Loved this book so much. Although the relationship between them did frustrate me at first because it was clear on how they felt but I stuck it out and I’m glad I did. Rollercoaster of emotions. Look forward to book 2 (if there is one coming)

The tension. The suspense. The spice! What a fabulous book. From the first moment I read the blurb I knew I was going to love this book, and Helena did not disappoint!
