I need a soldier !!
This book wasn’t what I’m used to from Jenna, but I absolutely loved it. It’s much hotter and heavier than her usual work, yet that never took away from the experience. I’m used to contemporary romances filled with longing this was pining with a naughty twist.
Rick meets innocent Ava on her wedding night after she slips away, overwhelmed by an arranged marriage meant to expand her father’s business influence. She’s upset, vulnerable, and then she meets Rick who’s funny, dark, and mysterious.
The connection is instant, but she has to leave. Rick seizes the moment, gives her his card, and tells her to stay in touch. Over the next few months, they roleplay and tease each other, circling the line but never crossing it. What you don’t expect is just how deeply they fall in love.
When Rick realizes he can’t risk losing Ava, he finally demands more from their love.

The story was really quick, with plenty of steamy scenes to keep you intrigued in these two. Rick and Ava meet in an unconventional way, but their relationship develops either way. Rick is just going through the motions of life when he finds Ava, and he will not let her get away. I liked them together. It was a good story.

Ava and Rick come together in a crazy way but it didn't matter for them on how it happens, but it was meant to be. The plot was intriguing, exciting and a pace that draws you in. A great story and you will love it as much as I did.

Finding ~
A very enjoyable read. Get the Bonus Scene, it adds more details to their story. I liked when they first met, it set the stage for their unique love story. The details and descriptions helped bring this story alive. Loved the perfect for them epilogue.

Jenna Rose absolutely never disappoints when it comes to the spice in her novellas. When I want to read something quick and with more spice in it I know where to find it. Ava was married to a bad man. A man who doesnt want her but as a pawn. Enter Rick who finds her in a bar in her wedding dress. They have a game you see where she runs and he chases. In the end they have each other and are happy.
