THE WEDDING OF THE CENTURY DISASTER

She plans perfect moments. He saves stray animals. Stuck in a blizzard with only one bed, their "just friends" status is about to face the ultimate disaster.

Chloe Vance has one pull off the chaotic, high-stakes wedding of pop star Lola LaRue without losing her mind. It’s the job that will launch her to the big leagues in Paris. The only problem? The venue is in Pine Creek, the small town she left behind five years ago. Oh, and a historic blizzard just trapped her in the hotel with a bridezilla, four Pomeranians, and the one man she’s never quite gotten over.

Sam Taggart is the town’s golden boy. A veterinarian with a heart of gold and a smile that melts snow, he’s happy being the guy who stays. When he sees Chloe on the verge of freezing, and a nervous breakdown, he does what he always he rescues her.

He offers to share his penthouse suite until the storm passes. It’s a practical solution between best friends. Except the suite has a heart-shaped tub. A fireplace. And exactly one King-sized bed.

As the temperature drops outside, the heat inside becomes impossible to ignore. A "huddle for warmth" turns into a scorching realization that the boy next door has grown into a man who knows exactly how to unravel her.

They agree to a "Snowbound Bubble": no rules, no guilt, and a strict expiration date when the plows arrive. But as the wedding disaster spirals and the chemistry burns hotter, Chloe has to decide if chasing her dream life is worth leaving behind the dream man she’s sleeping beside.

The Wedding of the Century Disaster — Anna May Grace
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4 stars)

This book is exactly what the title promises — chaotic, funny, and way more heartfelt than you expect going in.

What’s supposed to be a flawless, once-in-a-lifetime wedding quickly turns into a spiral of mishaps, secrets, and emotional fallout. The story leans hard into the everything that can go wrong will go wrong energy, but underneath the humor there’s real growth, vulnerability, and surprisingly tender moments.

The vibes:
💍 Wedding chaos dialed all the way up
😬 Forced proximity + emotional tension
😂 Laugh-out-loud moments mixed with sincerity
💔 Miscommunication, past baggage, and second chances
🫶 A romance that grows through the mess

I really enjoyed how the disaster aspect wasn’t just for laughs — it actually pushes the characters to confront things they’ve been avoiding. The banter is sharp, the pacing keeps things moving, and the emotional payoff makes the chaos worth it.

If you like rom-coms with big personalities, escalating mayhem, and a romance that blooms in the middle of absolute disaster, The Wedding of the Century Disaster is a fun, entertaining read that I’d definitely recommend.

The Wedding of the Century Disaster is a sweet, comforting story about childhood friends who find their way back into each other’s lives under less-than-ideal circumstances — and realise they were always meant to be more than just friends.

Chloe is a driven businesswoman focused on building her career. She returns to her small hometown to plan a wedding for a famous pop star, only for everything to go hilariously wrong when a blizzard hits. Sam, the local vet who never left town, runs into Chloe while working at the venue, and the two end up snowed in together — forced to confront old feelings that never really went away.

At its heart, this story is about choice. Chloe must decide whether she wants to continue chasing her career dreams or follow her heart back to the life — and the person — she once left behind. The romance is gentle and emotional rather than spicy; the spice level is very tame, with the focus firmly on Chloe’s personal growth and self-discovery. Watching her realise that her current life feels empty without love beside her was quietly satisfying.

The dual POV was a lovely touch, giving insight into both Chloe’s and Sam’s perspectives. This was a quick, easy read with plenty of warmth and charm — the perfect little holiday treat if you’re missing that cozy Christmas feeling.

A soft, feel-good romance from Anna May Grace.

Sam and Chloe

Tropes:
* Small town
* One bed
* Snowed in
* Second chance
* Forced proximity
* Friends to lovers

The start was a bit madcap and unhinged.
Basically anything that could go wrong, would, and did.
Wannabe OW/OM cause drama, they have history, and there’s a build back to what could be a beautiful relationship.
Add in some angst - accusations of using/not knowing what they want, pushing away and big choices to make.

Sam was a cinnamon roll in the first part, then when the angst arrived, he was the main instigator and I was NOT. A. FAN.
It took a while to bring them back around, but ultimately it ended up being a sweet story with a cute/sweet HEA.
It was enjoyable, and pretty fun to read.

This was such an easy, cozy and fun romcom, filled with tropes that I adore. I really enjoyed the book from start to finish, constantly looking forward to see what would happen next between the two main characters: Chloe and Sam.

I loved the interaction between Chloe and Sam, and how we got to watch their journey as they evolved from friends to lovers. The challenges they experienced forced them both to deal with things they had been avoiding for a long time. It helped them grow, not only individually but also as a couple.

This book is not only funny and filled with romantic tension, it also have some emotional depth. The story makes you cheer on the sideline for Chloe and Sam, as they navigate their feelings and realization that everything they thought they wanted might not be the case in the end. That it might be worth risking everything for the chance of during things right the second time around.

I adored this book, everything from the romance, the humor and the growth of the characters had me hooked from the beginning. I recommend this book for anyone looking for a sweet, fun, personal growth romcom.
I can’t wait to explore more books from Anna May Grace and I have already my next one picked out.

I just want to say awww. This was the sweetest, most humorous disaster anyone could ever hope to avoid. Everything that could possibly go wrong, did. Chloe tried so hard to make the absolute more beautiful wedding ever, only to get snowed in in a town she left years ago. And Sam, the guy she left behind, was there to rescue her. I loved the way he tried to help her. But being together in one room turned the child into heat quickly with these two.
I adored this book. It’s a sweet romance with humor and tension as Chloe tries desperately to fix everything. Sweet. I loved reading this one.

Chloe and Sam are the perfect example of right person, wrong time, who find themselves stumbling upon each other later on in life. The way they come together, fall apart and come back together is brutal, relatable and dramatic.
Overall the book is well written, Anna May Grace has done well with this one
