Devyn Sinclair writes steamy Reverse Harem romances for your wildest fantasies. Every sexy story is packed with the right amount steam, fiery hot men, and delicious happy endings.

I love this series and was so excited when I saw that we were actually getting a book for Eva. It didn’t disappoint at all. I’m likely going to reread the entire Slate City series now.

Devyn Sinclair does it again—and yes, I absolutely fell for this one.

Knot Far to Fall is exactly what I’ve come to expect from Sinclair: cozy but spicy, emotionally grounded, and unapologetically indulgent. It delivers strong omegaverse comfort vibes with enough depth to keep things from feeling one-note, which is no small feat in a trope-heavy space.

The character dynamics are where this book really shines. The MMCs are attentive without being overbearing (a delicate balance, done well), and the FMC feels refreshingly human—flaws, insecurities, softness and all. The bond development is steady and satisfying, with emotional beats that land just as well as the physical ones. And yes, the spice is spicing—but it’s earned, not rushed.

That said, the pacing in the middle dips just a touch. There were moments where I wanted either a bit more tension or a quicker push toward resolution. Not enough to pull me out of the story, but enough that this lands at a strong four rather than a full five for me.

Overall, this is a warm, comforting read with heart, heat, and that signature Sinclair touch that makes you want to curl up and ignore the world for a few hours. If you enjoy character-driven omegaverse with caretaking, emotional safety, and plenty of knotty goodness, this one is very much worth your time

This was the novella I didn't know I needed!! Unlike most fans , I was not begging to hear about eva's story. But our Devyn....she never disappoints. I am so glad I read this. It was spicy and the perfect length to give us a peek into Eva's life. End , of course , the bonus is we get to see our favorite girls from slate city. 10/10 recommend!!!
