Tranquil Bay #1

Grace Under The Sun

Rate this book
Welcome to Tranquil Bay, a seaside escape where the ocean mends hearts, but old secrets wash ashore.

Grace Tanner thought she had her future mapped out until her boyfriend proposed and she ran. But was it really just cold feet, or was she silently running from something else? Back in Tranquil Bay, she’s determined to renovate her late mother’s historic cottage just long enough to sell it and escape again. But who shows up with a tool belt and a slow, infuriating grin? It’s Cam Porter, her childhood best friend—the boy she left behind. Between peeling paint, painful memories, and her strained relationship with her father, Grace starts to wonder...maybe the home she’s been searching for isn’t a place at all, but the people she once loved.

In Tranquil Bay, the surf is soothing, the sunsets are stunning, and second chances drift in on the tide—but every wave brings something new to the shore. Secrets. Heartbreak. Healing. And most of all…hope.

easy and enjoyable reading

Loved the story and how it evolved. The characters were interesting and the mystery about how close friends grew apart and then finally reunited was interesting.

Great…but…

Loved this book - until I discovered it was a cliffhanger. I am not interested in reading book after book to never get a resolution. So now I’m done. Bummer.

pretty good.

I guess I’ll read the next one. Looks like I’ll have to read several “books” to get to the conclusion of the story.
