The Hollow Men
I hate you.
You stink. No literally. You reek. Everything about you is horrific. And now my children are in your hands. Well, figuratively.
You were right and I was wrong. That must make you ecstatic. I thought Cole would make it back. I thought I could make that happen. But the Hollows are on us now.
We will not survive.
I know your first instinct is going to be turtle up and hide. But children always know more than we give them credit for. They hear more. They understand more. They are more capable than we ever want to admit.
Cole and I tried to prepare for contingencies. My oldest has the letters. They will help her learn what she needs to learn. But your instruction will be worth far more. When my little Lizard is old enough, they'll need to get off planet and they'll need a teacher. It is up to you now.

I really loved this book! The story and world are absolutely fascinating! The humor had me busting out laughing! Also who doesn’t love a quirky animal sidekick that humbles you 😂
