I thought loving him was the hard part. I was wrong—staying alive is.
Ben says Italy will keep us safe. A fresh start. A chance to finally breathe without a gun to our backs.
But safety is a fairytale in the Volkov world, and I learned a long time ago that happily-ever-afters bleed. Especially when the men chasing us share his last name.
If we run, we’re hunted. If we stay, we’re targets. If Ben takes the throne the way he wants to… we might lose the pieces of ourselves we’re trying so hard to protect.
And then there’s the secret I’m carrying— the one that could save us or destroy everything.
Ben will burn the world for me. Break it. Rule it. Love me with a loyalty sharp enough to cut.
But this time, the danger isn’t just circling us. It’s coming from inside the empire he’s trying to claim.
And if we don’t survive it… love won’t be enough.
Bratva Ruin is Book 3 in a steamy, dual-POV dark mafia romance filled with danger, obsession, and heart-pounding tension. This series is intended to be read in order starting with Book 1.
Sienna is a baker trying to make ends meet doing her passion and keeping her grandmother cared for. Benedikt is the second favorite son of a Russian mafia boss with plans to take over his family’s empire.
Ben is wiling to give Sienna the world if he gets to have her and a future heir. Sienna well she’s stubborn. She wants her freedom but something about Ben keeps drawing her back in even when she doesn’t think she wants him.
Bratva Claim, book 1 — I enjoyed it is an easy read happy I can keep following this soon to be hopefully enemies to lovers. I am here for the banter. And love that despite her “hatred” for him she can’t get enough and wants him deep down.
Bratva Vow, book 2 — We’re getting closer, Sienna certainly isn’t Benedikt’s enemy but he is sure her enemy. Sienna kinda pmo she’s not understanding all he’s willing and wants to give her. Also she wraps them both up in a scheme that they’re not prepared for — but is mad at what must happen to follow through. AND THE END GIRL talk about cliff hanger.
Bratva Ruin, book 3 — By the end of this book I was left with good ole happily ever after vibes which I loved. They both grow so much in this last book. I loved seeing them work through everything and finally be on the same page.
Read this book if you like: ♦︎ mafia romance ♦︎ dual POV ♦︎ enemies to lovers ♦︎ possessive MMC ♦︎ dubious consent ♦︎ stubborn FMC
The Volkov Trilogy is worth exploring—but it’s not without its bumps.
Book 1 hooked me right away. The pacing is sharp, the atmosphere tense, and Volkov himself is a fascinating character—torn between duty and humanity. It’s the kind of opener that makes you want to binge the whole series.
Book 2 however, felt like a detour. The psychological depth is interesting, but the plot meanders and the momentum stalls. Honestly, you could skip this one and still follow Book 3 without missing much.
Book 3 brings the trilogy back to form. It’s fast, urgent, and delivers the emotional payoff you’ve been waiting for since page one. The ending ties things together in a way that feels both satisfying and earned.
Verdict:If you’re curious about the trilogy, don’t let Book 2 scare you off. Book 1 and Book 3 alone make for a powerful duology, but completionists may still want the full ride.
Enjoyable read.

The Volkov Trilogy - Brilliant mafia romance in three books
A lovely mafia romance, well worth the read and I was lucky to get all three books as the first two end on cliff hangers and I couldn't wait to continue Sienna and Benedikt's story. There's plenty of power, secrets, danger, spice, a protective mafia MMC who will fight to keep his woman safe, an independent FMC, love, twists and a HEA.
Book 3 – Bratva Ruin A fast-paced read (I really couldn't put this one down). With everything out in the open (particularly Ben's past being revealed), this third book is a great conclusion to the trilogy. With wonderful heat, secrets coming to light and a fantastic (deserved) HEA.

I have read other series from Clara Dunn, which have been excellent. However this book needs a developmental editor. That the car accident of Sienna received such little drama when it should have been one of the major crises of the series and how the death of Ivan was almost a footnote leads me to believe that the writer got bored with the book. Also as a 3 part series, it just doesn't work. Maybe Ms Dunn should be done with her Bratva world. In past novels she has been meticulous about each movement in battle, where here, she's glossed over the events.
This is the conclusion of this amazing trilogy, and Benedikt and Sienna discover that loving each other is easy, but staying alive not so much, and their fresh start in Italy might not be smooth saving. This is a well-written action-packed story, with obsession, tension, danger, suspense, intrigue, trust, loyalty, secrets, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining and heart-pounding dark mafia romance. I cannot express how amazing this trilogy is. I was hooked from the time I opened my Kindle and it had me on the edge of my seat for the entire time. Ben and Sienna's story is fantastic. The action, betrayal, control, suspense, sparks and the unexpected twists give it oomph. I can't wait to see what Artem's story is going to look like. Highly recommend reading.

Okay, beyond pissed with the ending. I can’t believe the MMC put up with all of that and why he had to completely change who he was. Isn’t that supposed to be what love is about, unconditional acceptance. Ugh.. I feel like I wasted an entire day reading these three books just to be pissed off for the rest of the night.
Had the pleasure to read the books and are short from perfect. They had the perfect amount of depth and sentiment you would expect in a book. Definitely an amazing job done . Can wait to read more from this author.
I got recommended this series from a few people off of Facebook in a book lovers group and I really liked it! Short read, perfect for the mood I was in.
