Apart from Diana being in her vengeance era this particular installment is slow and repetitive. I’m sure part 2 will amp it up and we will see some more engaging action.
I would be keen to see Samkiel stop acting like such a limp noodle.

I've been listening to the Graphic Audio version of this series. It's 100% the way to go. I usually would wait for the second half to be released, but something told me I wouldn't be binge reading this series.

The first half to the second book was not the type of book I wanted to listen to for 12 hours. I thought the first book was okay, but the angst between Diana and Samkiel wasn't so bad.

The Angst between Diana and Samkiel in utterly ridiculous. Diana JUST GET OVER IT!!!!

The entire audio was Diana being, mean, cruel, crazy and killing like crazy. Her off-handed comments and one-liners were so stupid, I started to think... maybe this isn't the writing style I am looking for.

Diana made the book so awful for me. I don't know how I survived 12 hours of trying to get revenge. Samkiel is willing to do ANTYHING to "save" Diana and I'm thinking.. is this even for-real? and that's asking a lot considering it's a fantasy novel.

Will I listen to the second half, when it's released in August? YES, that is how much I love graphic audio version, so smart of the author do that. Because even with this two star rating, I will still reading this silly series.

The way I ate this up, I was so READY for Dianna's villain era and hearing it through the graphic audio absolutely broke my heart and blew my mind at the same time. It's almost like with the graphic audio you can hear more of her inner turmoil, I just adore how she said "remember I tried to be good once" - it really hit me in the feels. I adored this graphic audio probably more than Book 1 - mainly because I was dealing with some grievances when I switched to this book and to relate to a main character so much and to feel like I've been where she has been, feeling the turmoil, rage and anger is something else.

10000/10 - I actually finished Book 2 with the normal audio because the second part wasn't out yet, but I can't wait to go back and finish it.

I want Book 3 and Book 4 ASAP please!

I hate to say it but her obsession with protecting her sister makes her so weak and vulnerable and I feel like Gabby wouldn’t want her to be sulking like she is right now and it’s actually quite irritating to listen to.

I felt like even this part 1 was long which makes me think they the entire book is WAYY too long to convey the story. Day, weeks, months went by and “nothing” really happened. Everything just got worse. So— not sure how it’s going to end or where this series is really going but since only part 1 came out, I will be finishing the book through reading!!

I did find the other characters more interesting as AVN included their perspectives so looking forward to that!

Being way too cruel, harsh, stubborn, nonsensical, ridiculous, ughhhhhh, for tooooooooooo long. Way too blinded by her sister’s death and misplaced blame. Common conflict in books but this one was waaaaaay too dragged out and frustrating. Samkiel was sooooo patient and understanding. No matter how much he did and he did a lot, she constantly misunderstood? Pushed him away and ea a royal bit*h. I struggled soooooooooooooo much to not DNF this book! Ans real talk I don’t want to continue the series after this book. Samkiel is ♥️♥️, so patient and the best! She way doesn’t deserve him.

My favorite book in the Gods and Monsters series!

The Graphic Audio exceeded my expectations and perfectly brought Dianna’s villain arc to life. I was rooting for her! 🤭

Don’t even get me started on Samkiel. Still my number 1 fantasy man! The way he fought for her and never gave up for a second to get her back.

The narrators, actually the entire cast, did a PHENOMENAL job.

I can’t wait for Part 2!!!

Talk about feminine rage at its finest!?! I of course love the graphic Audiobook version of any story. I am sad that I have to wait for part two now though. Although this did end at a good spot. Diana and her revenge murder spree was definitely top notch action. I look forward to see what happens next.

I bought this from GraphicAudio I do not know why this says not published yet. It's been released. It is Really damn good. Story is so good I tried to go back to regular audio in audible to get to the second half of this book. It is not easy. So hard to go from full cast to single narrator. I wish I did not have to wait for second half of the book. I usually wait for at least the whole book before I start but I had relistened to the first book GA did before I started this and I just couldn't help it. Honestly they make the story so so good. I almost don't like the story as much. I love the story is not just spice. There is so much going on in the second book more p.o.v's. like I said with the first book I am happy it's not all spice. I need plot more than some insta lust. That should just be the cherry on top. I love the FMC. I mean she has gotten on my nerves sometimes with her stubborn abilities. But she is very bad ass. Lol.
As I am typing this I am still trying to listen to the now boring audio with single narrator. Think it may be headed towards spicy time. Which seems to be what everyone is listening to now. Don't get me wrong I Love spice just not 80% of the plot. I like foreplay of the mind before all that. But I don't think I can continue listening to it. It's just not that good. Maybe if it was different narrator or dual or duet. GraphicAudio just makes everything better.
