Impractical Magic
They say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Apparently, it also rewrites your entire life.
One minute, I’m a forty-something witch finally getting the hang of my magic. The next? My dead grandmother is alive and twenty years younger, and I’m in a relationship I have zero memory of starting.
And that’s before the woman trapped in every mirror begins begging for my help.
Turns out my sisters and I may have fractured the timeline. Just a little. Unfortunately, the elders (picture magical Supreme Court with strong opinions) don’t do “oops.” They give us seven days to fix reality or lose our powers. And possibly our freedom.
Now we’re juggling unstable magic, a mysterious mirror-bound stranger, and an enemy who’s slipped his supernatural leash. But the deeper I dig, the clearer it fixing the timeline might mean erasing more than just mistakes.
Sometimes saving the world is simple. It’s living with the consequences that’s impossible.
In this laugh-out-loud, heart-tugging paranormal adventure, sisterhood, second chances, and a little temporal chaos collide, proving that midlife magic comes with fine print no one bothered to read.

If there's one thing I don't like about book series, it's having to wait for the next book. This is especially true when the book ends in a way that really leaves you craving more. Impractical Magic has done just that.
Ginger, as the eldest sister, has always been the stoic one. She lost the love of her life in a car accident and has now been given the chance to find love and happiness again. Will the Universe be kind to her this time around?
Oh, and if you think only Stacy's Psychological Thrillers will have you on the edge of your seat, think again. There's enough drama and suspense woven in amongst the feel good moments to keep you on your toes. Look out for the twists towards the end. They are doozies!
I received a free Advance Reader Copy of this book through BookFunnel and have chosen to leave a review.

Dang Chores
Started reading, laundry load done. Continue reading, hubby needs lunch before work, continue book, another laundry load, start new load. Back to story - mother nature calls - back to story. You get the idea.
I could've read this in 1 sitting if life hadn't kept calling. I didn't want to put it down. Reading more about sisters - Ginger, Mona, and Brenna and the ways their magic can change the slightest thing adding in the ripple effect - yes, speaking to Gabby and Blanch - brings new levels of life. But of course, there also has to be a downside - you know that balance equation, enter Rodney and Miles.
The series has me hooked - SO looking forward to Magic Becomes Her - especially with Olive and hopefully Rodney!

We're back with the Bennett sisters and they're dealing with timeline problems after accidentally time traveling and saving magic back in 1996.
Ginger keeps seeing a woman in the mirror, while Mona finds herself still married to Travis and the biggest surprise is Ginger's grandchild.
They find their magic not working properly and the artifact kind of damaged. Since time travel is strictly against witch law, the Elders are coming to judge the sisters.
The Elders tell them what they have to work through within a week and they get help from Destry, Margarete and Rodney.
This story was super intense and oh so sad.. but you have to read it yourself and sometimes the universe finds a way to make everything alright again.

So we are back from the unexpected trip to the 90’s and we are not ready for the changes that have happened in the timeline. The Bennett sisters have some surprises on their return plus their magic is wonky as hell and now they are also being judged by the elders and may find themselves magic-less forever. Time to tell mum what is going on especially as grandma is back from the dead and looking better then ever and then there’s the woman in the mirror, who the hell is she??!! It’s highly entertaining, enthralling, it made me laugh, it made me gasp and yup I even cried, and then there’s the twist at the end I did not see coming. I adore this series and cannot wait for the next book!

The Bennett sisters are such a great family. Ginger, Mona, and Brenna have time traveled and created a huge mess. Magic is going crazy, their own magic is unstable and the elders are aware of the problems. What could go Wong with all this and to have a short time to fix it before everyone is in danger.
I could not stop turning pages, I had to find out how they were going to make things right and fix all the issues they created. This was such a good book and this series just keeps getting better and better.

Great book. This is the 3rd book in the series and you really need to read the 1st & 2nd book before reading this one. The continuity of the books flows from one to another. Stacy doesn't spend a lot of time rehashing what happens in the previous books but does refer to incidents that happen in them. All in all this book has a good storyline which takes hold & makes it hard to put down and then gives just a peak at what is to come in the next one.
It's a good read for fantasy readers & I like that she uses characters experiencing the challenges of midlife.

Priceless, funny, a delight to read, and there's a sequel in the works. Mona gets to keep Jesse, Ginger loses Rodney because he doesn't fit in that timeline, but another Rodney does turn up. Mona's husband who had divorced her in the original timeline decides to divorce her again, so she's free to stay with Jesse. And the lady trapped in the mirror turns out to be a fourth Bennet sister that none of the original three knew in their timeline. Grandma Blanche stops aging backward at twenty and loves it. I can hardly wait for the next installment in the story.

This Series Is Getting Better
Maybe it was because I related more with Ginger, but this book landed with me more than the other two.
Not many laughs for me in this one. More like an eye roll or two, but the story line engaged me. Ginger’s emotional journey felt real. Sad in some ways, but it was nice to see someone who always puts others first find some inner strength and outer happiness.
Let’s see if the next book can continue this upward trend.

Impractical Magic
What an amazing author. Stacy Clark in has managed to write a book so chaotic but manage to bring it all together in the end. Plus it all makes sense. It was enjoyable, concerning, questionable, and very interesting. What an amazing family in this story. I look forward to more.

mazing book series! I connect with this series on so many levels and themes. And it never seems monotonous, different twists on events that I never saw coming (such as the identity of the mirror lady? Woah!) Highly recommend this book and all of the others in this series. Can't wait to read the next one!

This was so entertaining. Three sisters with magic powers makes the time line wonky. People are alive who should not be. There is a person trapped in a mirror and love to be found. These sisters need to fix things before their powers are taken away or they end up in magic jail.

Impractical Magic is the 3rd book in the Sisterhood of Midlife Magic series.
A fun story with developed characters a d a strong plot line.
Several unexpected happenings, along with some humor and intrigue.
I would recommend this series be read in order.

Intriguing
This third book kept you turning pages. There was always a crisis going on with time fractures and magic management returning to a different year. Great characters and story line.

This is such an enjoyable series. The sisters are now setting out to fix what they broke. We meet some new characters along with plenty of magic with a side of mayhem. Totally entertaining.

An intriguing book once again. Magic gone wrong, how will everything turn out. Couldn’t put it down until I read to the end. Each book gets better than the last if at all possible.
