I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Sins of the Fallen, the second book in the A Trespass of Angels series by A.L. Knorr. This installment raises the stakes considerably, blending ancient mysteries, biblical lore, supernatural suspense, and just the right amount of humor to keep the story moving at a fast pace.

Petra continues to be a compelling protagonist as she digs deeper into the secrets surrounding her origins. What I enjoyed most was how the story balances action, conspiracy, and character development. Just when Petra starts to uncover answers, new questions emerge, making it difficult to stop listening. The combination of fallen angels, ancient oaths, archaeological discoveries, and hidden agendas creates an intriguing world that feels both epic and personal.

The audiobook was especially enjoyable because of the narrators. Having multiple narrators added depth to the story and made the different characters and perspectives come alive. Each narrator brought energy and emotion to their performance, making the listening experience immersive and engaging from start to finish.

Fans of urban fantasy, supernatural thrillers, and stories inspired by biblical mythology will find plenty to enjoy here. The pacing is strong, the mysteries deepen, and the ending left me eager to find out what happens next.

Overall, Sins of the Fallen is a captivating sequel that expands the series in exciting ways. The fantastic narration made an already entertaining story even better, and I can't wait to dive into the next book.

Audiobook review: The dual narration was fantastic! Both of the narrators had excellent voices, conveying the correct emotions appropriately with clear pronunciation.

Story review: This book was different from what I expected; but that doesn't mean it wasn't good, as it was. I really enjoyed it! The time travel element was the difference and the author has proven she can successfully add that genre to her successful writing achievements.

Petra escaped her captivity in book 1 by vanishing back in time. As she seeks her ancestry origins, she sees many visions involving angels and demons. She uses her knowledge from her history lessons to gain acceptance and a job with an archeological team. Will her being from the future change history? Will she be able to travel back to her time and how? Will she get her powers back, does she want them back? So many questions with no answers.

The characters are all well written and in this world you can expect many unusual stories and outcomes. I am anxiously awaiting the final volume in this exciting series.

I received a free audible copy of this book via StoryOrigin and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Sins of the Fallen: A Trespass of Angels, Book 2, my forty-first read from author A.L. Knorr. Extremely well written, the characters, intensely well-developed. I’m a character reader, I get into the characters, who and what they are, why they do the things they do. The things that make the reader get invested into the characters and thereby the story. Broghanne Jessamine & Eden Gabay's narration adds to the enjoyment of this Audible book. “I received a complementary Audible copy and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I’ll be reading more from this author with Wrath of the Fallen (A Trespass of Angels Book 3) coming out in February of next year. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

I am loving Petra's story. She has no problem digging into things that should probably stay buried and works hard through all things thrown at her. I am looking forward to the next installment.
