Colin has a romantic, long Valentine’s Day weekend planned for Ed. A visit to Manchester’s Canal Street, a really nice hotel, complete with four poster bed, and an intimate meal in a restaurant.

Unfortunately, things don’t go quite according to plan, and when one of them ends up in a police cell, Colin’s plans have to take a back seat.

Blake Davis can’t stay out of it once he hears what’s happened and turns up to lend a hand, and then it seems all of Ed’s fears about Friday the thirteenth being unlucky are about to be realized.

This was definitely not what Colin had in mind….

My favorite couple of the Personal series celebrate their love on Valentine's Day on Canal Street (home of the original Queer as Folk!).

Reading about Ed and Colin in Gay Village, Manchester is nearly as good as being there.

Colin spares no expense in making this a trip to remember. How could he not? We all know Ed is the cat's meow.

The trip begins with a visit to a strip club. This usually isn't my cuppa, but these two make everything HAWT. Just go with it. It's SEXY and hella fun.

Unfortunately, an unexpected turn of events threatens to put a damper on the celebration, but Blake (followed by Will) rides in for the rescue, and Colin and Ed refuse to let their long weekend away be ruined.

I absolutely loved this novella. It was steamy, a bit fluffy, a little kinky, and a whole lot romantic.

Includes: smexy times in the shower, two extremely horny rugby players, a broken bed, the dinner of a lifetime, and Blake the smart arse.

"Maybe you need to go for round two, 'cause I'm sure there must be some people in this hotel who didn't quite catch that performance. The batteries in their hearing aids might have been dead."

What a treat: as good as chocolate with none of the guilt!

Awww. I had no idea this book was in the making. And I had no idea how much I actually missed these boys.

This short story was insanely romantic as well as steamingly hot as Colin and Ed enjoyed some quality time during their Valentine's weekend away from work and everyday life.

Ed has come a long way since he and Colin got together in the third book of the series doing his best to make sure Colin knows how he feels about him (- his accent is adorable ;)):

"I don't say it 'alf as often as I should, but yes I'm sayin' it now." He stared into Colin's eyes. "I fuckin' love you, Colin Reynolds. You got that?"

A perfect little celebration of romantic love with an added dose of friendship from Will and Blake. Great seeing these two again as well.

I love Ed. No, not just because I have an Ed of my own. I just love this guy and I love him with Colin.

This is a sweet and mushy peek at Ed and Colin's lives... you know, to see how they're doing, what's going on, and how they spent their Valentines Day weekend. I love all the characters of this series, but Ed and Colin are faves of mine, so this was a perfect little nugget.

Thanks KC for the book. Thanks for stories that are full of love, short on huge drama, and full of fun.

I have a confession to make first. This is my first book in the ‘Personal’ series. I know I should read books out of order but when I saw the blurb for Strictly Personal, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to read the story. I mean, what’s not to love about two hot men on a romantic Valentine’s Day weekend.

I knew I’d be reading about characters that had been well established in an earlier story and was prepared to feel at least a little bit lost in this book. Much to my delight I didn’t. Colin and Ed were real and fully fleshed characters for me from the very first page and I got more attached to them as the story progressed.

These two men are hot together and so clearly love each other it was a joy to spend time with them. I felt bad for them when disaster struck and delighted with them when everything turned out just perfect despite the set-backs. The balance between humour, heat, charming and angst was just about perfect for this reader.

Of course now that I’ve fallen for Ed, Colin, Blake and Will I’ll have to go back and read the three previous titles as well. Given that K.C. Wells always tells a hot and gripping story, that won’t be a hardship.

What a tasty Valentine's Day treat from K.C. Wells.

Colin and Ed have been together for a few years now and Colin has planned a romantic Valentine's weekend in Manchester including a visit to Bliss (which you'll recognize if you've read A Dance with Domination), taking in a game, plenty of alone time for the busy couple and maybe a surprise or two. What could possibly go wrong?

The story was a great way to catch up with the couple and see how far they've come, especially Ed. While they may not be all hearts and flowers and PDA's, it is clear how much in love they are. There are a couple of seriously sexy scenes of course, a few laughs and plenty of romance as well. For fans of the other couples in the series, there are appearances by Blake and Will and an update on Angelo and Rick. Definitely a must read for fans of the Personal series.

Mi è piaciuta questa novella. Mi ha fatto apprezzare maggiormente entrambi i protagonisti, mostrando un Ed più tranquillo e un Colin più deciso.

Rick and Angelo's Tale

This story had a lot of emotional ups and down for the characters as well as it reader. My heart broke for this couple at the heart ache and the decisions Angelo's parents were forcing him to make .Either Colin or them.

Rick works for Blake at Trinity publishing and loves his job and friends but, his love life is seriously lacking.

Omg !The hottest and intense memorable moment in the story took place when Ben and Ollie a couple in love and who are partners love to play.Their game tonight is Rick!Rick will forever remember his night with Ollie and Ben forever as it brought the hottest sexual gratification he has ever received in his long list of lovers. Omg! fanning yourself ladies and gents..

Grins

Rick at this point in his life is tired of the one night stands and is looking for something more meaningful and serious.Rick was definitely a guy unlucky at love and also had an awful taste in men until he meets Angelo from a situation that almost lead him to becoming a rape victim.

I liked Angelo he was outgoing kind gentle supportive and artist who was an all around great guy who seemed to be happy with his life. His attraction is Rick is overwhelming and someone who he can't seem to forget. From the onset of seeing Rick from across the room he became protective of him and vowed to watch over him even before meeting him.Did Angelo know right then in there that Rick was his Soul mate? And if so why is he willing to give up the love of his life to remain part of a family who are non accepting of who and what he is?

An emotional tale of a couple who are meant to be together and who make one another happy and fulfilled yet choses you lead a life of unhappiness over love.My heart broke for this couple and the unhappiness and pain that brought Angelo to make the decisions he was forced to make even if they were the wrong ones because of his family.

Rick was my favorite character in this story.I truly felt his pain and suffering an unhappiness he was experiencing as nothing seemed ever to work out for his benefit. So unlucky in love and his doomed relationship brings him to the point where he would rather be alone then to ever experience the pain he is currently feeling over his breakup with Angelo.

Ricks saviors are Blake ,Will and Ed who are there for him not matter what and he could not but help but love them for it even more than he already did.He is truly blessed to have them as friends and he knows with their help he might survived the heartbreak he is currently experiencing .

A page turner that was filled with so much emotion, love ,friendship and sexual gratification and one overcoming life hurtles that were placed in ones path. The story had a great cast of characters with so many different personalities making it intriguing fun that brought you many laughs as well as many tears.

“Strettamente personale” è un’altra deliziosa novella con protagonisti Ed e Colin quasi tre anni dopo l’inizio della loro storia. Un weekend a Manchester, una serata divertente e bollente in uno strip club, qualche piccolo incidente e la fedele amicizia di Will e Blake sono gli ingredienti che rendono questo racconto decisamente imperdibile.

Loved it - so good to catch up with Ed & Colin, they are officially my favourite couple in this series but I especially love ED!!

Great little valentines read of Ed & Colin visiting Manchester for a romantic weekend. Couple of very hot love scenes and also some really lovely romantic moments - not everything works out as planned but that only makes things interesting. Also a lot of funny moments.

Can't wait for the last book in this series - will be great to catch up with everyone else, but especially ED!

This was just freakin' perfect! LOVED getting to read more of Colin and Ed, and I loved their Valentine's together, even though things didn't go the way they wanted them to. I just love how much they love each other, how every thing they do for each other is so sweet and perfect for the other. Loved getting to read this, a nice surprise since I didn't know there would be more in this series! Can't wait for more from this author, one of my favorites!

Deceptively Brief and Exceptionally Sweet

Loved Personal Secrets, to which this is a brief, but power-packed and scorching, sequel. Ed and Colin are very well defined regular guys who fall in love and are so overwhelmed by it that Colin feels they need a break, alone, and conjures up a seriously romantic Valentine's Day weekend in Manchester. The plot is a hoot, the men are hot, and you want to get on a plane and visit Manchester by the time this is all done.

Very pleased to have had the opportunity to catch up with these old friends during their romantic weekend where the adventure (of one sort or another) rarely stopped. It was very enjoyable to see how their relationship has grown even stronger. The story has sigh-worthy romance, humor, adventure, drama, blister-the-paint-off-the-walls sex and rock solid love. Very enjoyable and highly recommended!

Colin & Ed are a lovely couple and getting to see them 2 years further in to their relationship was amazing.
Ed is still a little rough around the edges but he loves Colin beyond words. When Colin is injured and Ed is arrested you really get to see how much they love each other.
The scene with Terry was hot hot hot!!!!

More Ed and Colin! I loved this little novella… I swear, Ed and Colin are my absolute favorite in this series!

In this one, it’s Valentine’s Day weekend and Colin has made some plans. He whisks Ed away for a romantic weekend, some fun stuff and a plan that I’d been hoping for… Everything goes great at first, but being that it’s also Friday the 13th, and Ed’s superstitious-spidey senses are tingling, he just knows something bad is going to happen… and it does… a couple things actually, and I was worried there for a few minutes. Fortunately, everything gets better, because these guys are just too amazing not too…

Oh, and lemme tell ya, there is a hot scene with a stripper that you are not gonna wanna miss! I loved that they had boundries and they didn’t take it too far. I love that Ed spoke up and his possessiveness was acknowledged. I just loved the whole thing. I can’t wait to read more about these two, I’m so glad I didn’t give up on this series from book 2. I had a hard time liking that one, but Ed and Colin has more than made up for it.

You’ll also get an update from Will and Blake and their family! Yay!
Overall, such a cute little short read.

4 stars for me on this one : )
