Bound is the next installment in the bonded hearts series and introduces an equally devious and twisted love interest, Mako who is as dangerous as he is alluring. Storm who is on her way to a weekend birthday getaway in the mountains after having her heart broken by her ex-boyfriend of over 10 years. She gets lost in a blizzard and ends up helpless at mako’s doorstep with no knowledge of his extremely dark past and present crimes.

It doesn’t take long for things to take a turn as she gets taken on a ride she would’ve never expected. Seeing her innocence contend with the darkness inside of him is engaging and keeps you hooked chapter after chapter. They are like oil and water but still have something that keeps them bonded to one another that neither can deny. No matter what they go through, they always seem to find their way back to one another.

Not for the faint of heart but those willing to ride the ups and downs of this turbulent story will be deeply rewarded with a hard earned happily ever that left me deeply satisfied.
