BRITAIN IS BURNING WITH THE FLAMES OF WAR!

September-October 1943

The Second World War, as waged by the unholy alliance of Italy, Germany, and the Soviet Union, continues to rage across the planet. The Allies, led by the United States, the British Empire, and the Japanese Empire, fight tooth and nail to stay in the field and defeat their powerful enemies.

Events are coming to a head in the United Kingdom, as the Axis forces have successfully established large enclaves both in northeastern Scotland and Southern England. The Wehrmacht and its Soviet allies are converging on London, as they continue to attack on land and air, while in the north, the Allies plan to unsettle Axis plans by a major attack on Axis-occupied Scapa Flow, the major supply base for the Scottish landings.

In the Japanese Home Islands, the Allies are looking to consolidate their victory in the Shimonoseki Strait with a powerful naval attack on the Axis Sakhalin and Russian Far East supply bases, while the Red Army and their Wehrmacht allies are poised to attempt a crossing of the Tsugaru Strait from Hokkaido to Honshu to finish Japan and the Allies in Asia.

In mainland China, the Nationalist Chinese and their American-British allies retreat southward, following the failure of Operation Osmanthus and the unrelenting Axis counteroffensive.

As hundreds of thousands of increasingly more powerful machines collide across the British landscape and the very future of the United Kingdom is at stake, the forces of liberty gather and grow on the other side of the Atlantic. America is truly gearing toward total war to combat the seemingly unstoppable Axis forces.

All in all, everything is lining up for a big showdown in the British Isles that will decide the outcome of the war in the West as well as in the Japanese Home Islands. Can the Germano-Soviet Axis win, take control of the entirety of Eurasia, and win the Second World War?
