The Memory Project

“Legacy isn’t what you leave behind. It’s what they let you keep.”

In 2085, memories are no longer private, they can be edited, erased, and weaponized. After the Great Data Breach, America is split between Freedom, where privacy is sacred, and Progress, where surveillance and technology rule.

Commodore, a popular content creator in the Freedom Territories, has built an audience by questioning the thin line between human memory and digital manipulation. But when a defector from Progress reveals The Memory Project, a plan to implant brain-computer interfaces and rewrite the past of every citizen, Commodore finds himself at the center of a conspiracy with world-shattering consequences.

Fast-paced and surprisingly gripping, especially for someone who usually skips dystopian novels in favor of action and historical fiction. The heroes are memorable, the villains are genuinely unsettling, and a few moments land harder than expected. Rather than just telling a story, the book pushes you to think about uncomfortable questions around AI, control, ethics, and what we give up when technology starts making decisions for us. It sticks with you after the last page, and I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see it become a bestseller.

The Memory Project is a compelling and intelligent novel that makes you genuinely ponder real situations that could unfold in a world shaped by artificial intelligence. It blends imaginative storytelling with thoughtful questions about the future of humanity that feels both futuristic and surprisingly plausible.

This is a thought provoking read that challenges how we think about technology and humanity. Highly recommended!!!

This is a fast paced and engaging read. Memorable heros and scary villains and occasional hits straight to your soul. I’m predicting a best seller and you don’t want to miss out.

Heath Morgan has created a way for readers to grapple with the big Ai questions. What does it look like when we turn over too much to technology? How do we remain human when the algorithms make all our decisions? What are the ethics we all need to understand?
