Born into an already-powerful family, Gideon Marquand is a special kind of witch. The most recent in a long line of super-witches, he is the first in over two hundred years to emerge possessing unlimited stores of magic. He is hunted—driven into hiding until the day when he can finally reclaim his rightful place among his family.
Gideon has spent his entire life preparing for a showdown against an evil force bent on his destruction. But when fate intervenes and puts a broken and damaged woman in his path, Gideon knows he’ll not only have to fight for his life...He’ll have to fight to save the woman meant to be his.
I've always loved to read, loved losing myself in the lives of the people on those pages. Sitting at work one day, I started to wonder what would it be like if I woke up one day with magical powers. How would that effect my life? Where did they come from? Why me? As I thought about the answers to those questions, Magic Found started coming together and it took off with a life of its own. When the rest of the Marquand family demanded their own stories, The Magic of the Heart Series was born.
Gideon Marquand has magic powers and everyone wants to steal them from him. When his enemies send over a young girl, he falls in love with her. He tells her that her whole life has been a lie and she believes him. They have lots of sex and she decides to help him defeat the evil people. It was a success. The End.
Plot wise, Magic Revealed was very slow and simple. No complications, no twists, nothing I've never read.
Character wise, meh no connection whatsoever. Author tried too hard to make them seem special, but they aren't.

Review:
I really enjoyed this fourth book in the Magic of the Heart series, despite previously reading only the first. The characters I encountered in that first book are joined by other Marquands and their significant others, and all blossom here.
My only criticism is that the rather explicit sex scenes add nothing to the story and could put some readers off.
I like the author's writing style, it makes for easy reading and the story held my interest.
Ill be adding books two and three of the series to my TBR list and looking out for more books by Misha McKenzie.
Perhaps if I would have read the other books in this series I would have liked it better than I did. I was not aware that it was the fourth in a series when I started reading though that became apparent fairly quickly. I was lost on who each character was and where they fit into the story.
I would have expected it to be just a bit more difficult for Gideon to convince Stacia of who she really is. While I did like Gideon, I was not so keen on Stacia/Lauren, however. I don't think she was very believable. I found it hard to get invested in most of the characters in this story.
It was also just a bit predictable, but only because of the way it was written. I would have liked a few more twists and it could have been executed a bit better than it was. To me, it felt somewhat rushed to come to the conclusion but then again it could have been because I haven't read the other books in this series. I do feel the idea behind the plot was a good one.
It was not a bad read and I did enjoy it to some extent and so, therefore, give it three stars.
Absolutely Loved Magic of the Heart Series!! Misha McKenzie pulled me in with the first book. The books introduced Awesome characters, gave you excitement and adventure in all the books. I hated to say Bye to the characters at the end of the final book. Out of all the books she saved the best for last.
I love this series. From Marissas story to Gideon’s. When I can’t find anything new to read I come back to these. Family, love, trust and friendship. With a little magic thrown in!
Magic is something that flows, sometimes it runs high, other times it runs low, sort of like a modern-day trending scenario, they hit their high as the trend breaks and then it fades out with time. In this case the magic that is flowing is Love - any married couple will tell you there are days when you want to hang onto every word your partner says and there are days you want to strangle them - for Gideon and Lauren the latter falls early in their relationship as Lauren's doing her best to off him as she was directed to do by her "father" and "uncle" however Gideon knows there's another woman hiding beneath the tough outer layer - the question then becomes how to bring the underlying woman to the surface? A question and task only high family can help him undertake. And, so begins the journey.
When I started reading this book I was unsure of the direction it was going to take - coming off reading the 1920 Series - I was trying to figure out how this novel was going to play out - generally one can figure out the direction of novel the minute they pick it up - on rare occasions a reader cannot determine the direction a book will take no matter how hard they try as the author knows how to spin a story. This time it was relatively simple - the author took a rather direct route to get to the end of the book. Though I will say this, I did enjoy the story, even if it was relatively predictable. However, unknown to me at the time when I picked it up this book being the final in a series, the reader is able to jump right into the story and get enough back story re-told to them as Gideon is filling Lauren in on the details that it made following the story easy enough. It can be read as part of the series - or it can be a stand alone novel. **I Received a Copy of this Book from NetGalley in Exchange for an Honest Review**
Lauren has always known who she is and what her purpose in life is supposed to be. That is, until Gideon takes her prisoner and starts telling her unbelievable stories about her family; stories that are all the more unbelievable because he is her mortal enemy! Gideon is an extremely powerful witch who is faced with a woman whose determination to kill him is only slightly less powerful than his magic. He needs to break through her stubbornness and make her face the truth: he is not her enemy. To complicate matters, he finds himself drawn to her and wanting to comfort her. Lauren responds to his kindness with confusion, not having much experience with kindness in her life, and resists his overtures of peace. Can they find a way to breach the distance between them? Read to find out! :-)
I enjoyed this story quite a bit, and would definitely recommend the book to anyone who enjoys paranormal romance or stories about families of witches. There's a lot of action, and the love scenes are hot! Still, I found the beginning a little slow and hard to get into. For that reason I'm giving this book four stars.

Stacia awoke in a strange bedroom and wondered how long she had been unconscious. Then Stacia heard a voice in her mind, it was the voice of a man she had been dreaming about for almost two years. Stacia had been raised vengeance was her life that was all there was. Then Stacia realized she was with the famous Gideon Marquand. He was the most powerful witch born in two centuries. The man she had vowed to destroy. His coven had murdered her family. Gideon told her that her real name was Lauren Donnelly but she called him a liar. Gideon knew that Lauren had been brainwashed for twenty years. Gideon could astro project and went to his father for help. It had been two months and he had gotten nowhere with Stacia/Lauren, she was still trying to kill him and getting very inventive at that. I really liked this story . I think the only thing is I wish there was a bit more conflict/action. But besides that i really enjoyed this story. I felt bad for all Stacia/Lauren had been through and what her own father had done. I liked the characters especially Stacia/Lauren and all she went through to finally become who she was meant to be. I also liked Gideon a lot and all he put up with for Stacia/Lauren. I recommend. I received an ARC of this story for an honest review.
I new it was Charlie's son, the minute Amber said what happen to his wife and son. Yet I always read to the end to verify my guess, it is always the thing to do. This was the best trilogy I've read since Nora Roberts stories on her sister witch's Island with that controlled the four elements. Cannot wait for future stories to the new generation, this should be good!
I just had to finish this series, but like with the other three books, everything is too easy. Oh, I've been kidnapped for 20 years and now I've been rescued - yay, I'd love to help you defeat my captors. I beat you and held you captive for fifteen years - sure I'd love to help you overcome your fears. There's just not enough conflict.
