Karen can't understand why her husband, Harry won't even look at her these days. With two kids and a busy life, things have gotten on top of her. But there's one person who never stops thinking about her.
When she runs into her high school boyfriend at the airport by chance, flames re-ignite and even though Karen squashes the feelings out of loyalty to her family, Jasper has her scent in his nose! There's just one catch: he never got a chance to tell her he's a werewolf.
On Christmas eve, when Karen finds out Harry is leaving, will she let herself find true love with the werewolf who will never stop wanting her?
This bite sized Christmas story imagines what love would be like with a werewolf at Christmas!
Ami Wright is a romance author who loves history, food, travel, trashy TV and smutty books. She loves writing science fiction romance with time travelling Romans, feisty cat people and plenty of spice!
Ami lives in Australia with her partner and two kids. If she ever gets any spare time between working, writing and mothering, she reads, cooks, watches history documentaries and dreams of the days when international travel becomes a reality again!
This bite sized second chance middle age rom com was super cute. I absolutely loved the fun spin on the movie and had a great time while reading this. It's a fast read and offered a wonderful dash of spice there at the end.
Quick notes and thoughts: *Karen deserved so much better. *Harry is such an ass. If you're that unhappy just leave. 🙄 *Jasper being a wolf made me giggle 🐀✨ *Just like Karen I thought it was absolutely adorable he was already there. It's a paranormal romance babe, the red flags aren't red if he's not human. 💁 *I wish this was longer. It was really fast paced and I typically want a little more zuzz than that, but she does have a full length story with a similar premise I'm going to check out so highest hopes that scratches the itch this one made me aware of 😅😍
💝 “The best Christmas present. One worth waiting all those years for. One I’m going to cherish for the rest of my days.” ~~~ This is such a delightful bite-sized story and both Karen and Jasper were so wonderful!
I loved their chance encounter at the airport and everything that followed. Even more, I adored Jasper for being so patient, understanding, caring and so sweetly possessive (and a tiiiiiny bit stalkerish). He and Karen were just perfect together and absolutely deserved happiness and love together.
Overall, Wolf Actually is a sweet and cozy Christmas story and I loved it very much!
This spicy, bite sized Christmas romance was everything. I loved it so much. Ami Wright writes monster romances like no other. It’s the perfect holiday season read. I’m normally not big on werewolf stories but decided to give it a go cos I love Ami’s writing style and I was not disappointed. I was hoping that Jasper and Karen would get their HEA and jaspers possessiveness is so adorable. I would love to read more about the two of them for sure.
So cute ! I loved how they reconnected, the honesty on both parties, even the husband ... and how they waited before going at it, no cheating, it was really cute and enjoyable read !
