“You’re like that coffee creamer, Anna. You make life so much better. Please. Please don’t make me go back to a life of black coffee.”
Oh boy. This is simultaneously the most adorable and spicy lil’ winter read ❄️ The plot is simple, allowing the author’s sheer talent as a writer to shine and take centre stage - I’m shocked this is a debut release because, frankly, I’ve read books which have been traditionally published with a poorer grasp of basic things that make a story sing.
There is humour that doesn’t have to try too hard; it’s natural, flowing from a character who has been developed, and never feels like it’s been shoe-horned in for the sake of it. I laughed out loud at parts, which is a difficult thing to get me to do (as a reader, not in life!)
The spice is some of the best I have read. Did I know I wanted (needed?) a hot nerd, with a praise kink and a filthy mouth for Christmas? No I did not. But I am ever so grateful that Ophelia has sent me one.
Based on a 100 page novella, this author will be an auto-read for me from now on - that is how incredible this story was 👏🏻
This is the perfect steamy snowmance I didn’t know I needed in my life. The banter, the chemistry, the cozy setting—ALL OF IT IS SO GOOD! I read this cover to cover in an afternoon. I simply cannot believe this is this writer’s debut novel; her pacing and spice scenes are immaculate!
What a lovely, filthy little romance! Extra stars for the Gilmore Girls reference. I totally get why this author’s style is compared to Ali Hazelwood. Incredible debut novella.
Perfect for fans of Ali Hazelwood! This book does so much in such a short amount of time. I really loved our two main characters and the chemistry the author managed to create between the two. It also has the perfect amount of spice that doesn’t feel forced! I’ll definitely be re-reading this one and can’t wait to see what’s next!!
About a good love story that all of us women want if I’m being honest. The amount of WANT from a male and how you just feel so important was shown in this. It’s only 92 pages, but it made me want to leave my boyfriend and find someone to have an experience like this with lol.
