The world is spiraling into war—and one team stands in the way of annihilation.

As Russian forces drive deep into Europe, American troops fight brutal battles in the Middle East, and Chinese warships close in across the Pacific, the free world is being squeezed to the breaking point. World War III has arrived—and the outcome isn’t looking good.

America and her allies are outnumbered, outgunned, and on the brink of collapse. For President Maggie Trousdale, the goal is no longer victory—it’s survival. Preventing nuclear firestorm is the only objective left.

But there is one last option. Not a conventional battle plan but a mission so dangerous no leader dares speak of it aloud. To attempt it, Washington turns to the CIA’s most classified covert strike the Prosecution Force.

Reed Montgomery and his operators are shattered—scarred by missions that nearly killed them, scattered and hanging by a thread. But when the call comes, they answer. Because the stakes demand nothing less.

They know the odds. They know the cost. And they’ll walk straight into the fire—ready to give everything, even if it means never coming home.

The last operation for the Prosecution Force. The five remaining members are battered and beaten, physically and emotionally. Still they are not ready to be disbanded. Ivan Sakorov is in Russia and is now part of President Nitikin's inner circle. The PF consider him a traitor, all except Turk. Nitikin is bat crap crazy, continually moving his military west. With American president Maggie Truesdale not responding, Nitikin becomes more aggressive. Maggie is having a hard time coming down from the drugs she was taking for her liver transplant. Her behavior is often irrational and cause for concern. James O'Dell is in federal prison for killing a man so Maggie could get his liver. Vice President Stratton, is drawing up articles of impeachment and trying to get enough votes to make him president. When the Russians start killing Americans, Maggie comes up with an insane plan to have Nitikin assassinated. So crazy it just might work. So desperate she is willing to activate the Prosecution Force, the only team in the world with a chance of success. Their chance of any member surviving hovers right around zero. Maybe Lucy's faith is stronger than the enemy's bullets. Maybe not. Can Muddy Maggie save America? The action intensifies as the pieces fall into place, or don't. There is no Plan B. The ending is extraordinary! I am going to miss Reed and the Prosecution Force.

I was such a fan of the early Mitch Rapp books and I listened to Brad Thor while I redid my floors. So it was nice to jump back in the genre and get my adrenaline going.

First I am jumping in mid series and I had no trouble following the plot. The author does a good job filling in any gaps I needed.

Other than a female President, which I just don’t think can happen now, this felt like it could be real life. US and Russia at odds. A huge cat and mouse game between the two with dire consequences on the line. The team protecting the US stakes are battered and beat up yet giving their all. And that explosive ending.

I was drawn to the characters and their relationships. Knowing a little about them helped me connect with them and make them real.

The pace and tension just kept ratcheting up the further along I was. This is the epitome of high stakes and fact paced.

Gary Bennett does an excellent job as narrator. He’s able to bring the characters to life and have the right emotion and intensity at the right moments. The listen was easy to follow and kept me engaged. The time listening flew by.

This will appeal to Vince Flynn and Brad Thor fans along with anyone liking fast paced political thrillers.

I just finished Red Horizon, and it is an intense conclusion to the Prosecution Force series. In a world facing a cataclysmic end at the hands of a madman, the stakes have never been higher for the team.

Battered and traumatized from the events of the previous volumes, the Prosecution Force is called upon for one final, seemingly impossible mission. The plot builds dramatically, and the descriptive language used for the major players—from the US and Russian leaders to the team itself—creates a haunting look at a global disaster. The palace intrigue on both sides of the Atlantic adds even more tension to the story, which flows so well you'd be hard pressed to believe it's 544 pages long.

Despite being physically pushed to their limits, the Force remains determined to give everything for their country and the planet. While I am sad to see this excellent series end, it truly went out with a bang. I highly recommend reading it yourself to see what I mean!

PROSECUTION FORCE SERIES:
Source: Ryles' ARC team and Severn River Publishing.

RED HORIZON, #10 - What a finale. Over 500 pages but so packed, it was a quick read. Everybody has their endings, with some being justly served. 5*

FAILED STATE, #4 - My first of this series and I did not miss the first three books. Standalone, interesting with Wolfgang as a member of another "group". 4*

FIRESTORM, #5 - Totally mesmerizing. I could not put down this action-filled, fast-paced, intriguing story with its great, and no so good, characters and interesting story lines. Enjoyed Wolfgang's prosthesis. 15*

WHITE ALERT, #6 - Full of intrigue and suspense, multiple players, and interesting story lines. Add in a few happenings and surprises to make a hard to put down book. 5*

NUCLEAR NATION, #7 - Intense. Intriguing. Interesting. Kinda wonders about the Team's future after reading this quick paced, action filled, twisty-turny book. Man, I love Ivan; he adds so much to the meaty parts. Hope Eight gets published ASAP. 5*

FALLOUT, #8 - Fallout does not disappoint. Interesting. Intense. Enjoyable. Live this series and author! 5*

FULL DARK, #9 - Reed got on my nerves with his selfishness but then the story started rocking and he was off my list. Interesting. Intriguing. Action filled. 5*

A really good/long thriller(544 pages). The ruthless Russian President is using Iran & China to start wars in their parts of the world, while they invade/destroy former Soviet neighbors. Their hope...to control the world or to end it once and for all. The U.S. has a lot of wars to contend with and NATO is not being much help. U.S. President Muddy Maggie has a lot on her plate since being shot, addicted to opioids, and the usual crap that goes on in politics. Maggie and a few CIA peeps come up with a plan that cannot be successful without The Prosecution Force entering the game. Buckle up and enjoy the thrill ride. Thanks to Severn River Publishing for the ARC and the book will be available June 2nd.

Mastery

This book is outstanding, period. Author Ryles has deftly taken all of the threads in the entire Prosecution Force series and woven them into a rollicking action thriller, the most ambitious and best I’ve read in years. What’s most impressive is Ryles writing style - it’s pitch perfect here. Easy to digest rapidly with just enough detail and excellent dialogue. From the very start of this book to the last page (which you’ll probably finish in two days), it’s mastery of this genre. But I highly recommend Ryles’ other books series too.

I received an advanced copy of this book for my honest review. This was a great conclusion to an excellent series. The story is about politics between several nations and special force operators who need to save the world. The story and characters in this series are all well developed and believable. As with most series the books should be read in order. This will give the reader time to learn about the main characters and the complicated plot.

Enthralling storyline.

One last mission for the team and this is the hardest one they have ever taken on, to save the world from nuclear Armageddon they have to come up with a plan that involves inciting a coup in the Russian government and at the same time getting the Russian President to leave his fortress in the Kremlin and then assassinating him in a way that doesn't point back to the USA.

Great finish

Will miss Reed Montgomery, the entire series is tied up well in Ryles final chapter. Very few tragic heroes are as "likeable" as Montgomery. Thanks for the PF series Mr. Ryles.

Disappointed

Real life has enough tragic endings. Maybe some people want books to be realistic but I use them as an escape. The ending didn’t have to be so crushing.

An incredible ending to the series. So many things were wrapped up - some happily and some not. Great job. I'll miss the team but it was time to retire.

I received an ARC through "Severn River" and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

This story has Reed, Turk and Lucy in Qatar while Corbyn and Wolfgang are at Cyprus recovering from the last two missions. While they are there, Iran is at war with Israel and The U.S. while the Russians are attacking the Balkans. China is waiting , but Russia had expected China to draw the Americans to a third front. Maggie, POTUS, is being pushed to get America in the fight with the Russians. She is holding them off, but many of the Cabinet do not agree. O'Dell is under arrest which a Senator is pressuring him to name Maggie in regards to the killing that O'Dell did to get the liver for Maggie's transplant.

The CIA was running in the background various scenarios to find a way that would result without having the world blowing up because of the use of nuclear weapons. They were coming up empty with all of the results having Russia come out on top. Shortly, Reed, Turk and Lucy traveled to Cyprus where they were told their group was disbanding and they were returning home. In the background in Russian, Ivan, a Russian who Reed worked previously with, was working in the background to bring Nikitin, the Russian President and his administration down. Maggie asked the CIA to look if Russia's leadership was changed what the results would be, Based on this information, Aimes, the CIA Director and Rigsby, her deputy told Reed and his group of the mission they were to undertake. In the background, Stratton, the V.P. was working to invoke the 25th Amendment where he would become President.

Read along and discover who was behind O'Dell's interrogation, how Ivan played a role, what mission Reed and company were tasked with and what the results was. Discover how Stratton's plans ended up.

This is a great story and well worth the read, Don't miss out!
