After stealing money from my boss, he presented me with an ultimatum.
Face imprisonment or marry him.
The thought of losing my son was unbearable, so I chose the second option.
Three years of forced smiles and stifled tears before he grants my release.
Gabriel Reed is intimidating, domineering, ruthless, and a total jerk.
But as time passes, his sharp, ruthless edges soften, and he shows a genuine, caring side I would’ve never expected.
The lines between duty and desire blur as the forced marriage, ironclad NDA, and stringent contract morph into something deeper.
Something I can’t control.
Something I don’t want to control.
Gabriel
I had a plan, and to execute it, she had to pay.
Not with her nonexistent money, but with years of her life.
Our marriage certificate is real, but our connection ends there.
This was a deal. A pact forged in desperation, one that would keep her out of prison and grant me control of my father’s company, a business empire I helped build over a decade of tireless effort and sacrifice.
In my ruthless pursuit of my ambitions, I was prepared to deceive my parents and the world, concealing the forced marriage and calling her child—whose existence I didn’t even know about when we said “I do”—my own.
The sting of a past betrayal by one manipulative woman still burns deep within me. Fifteen years of self-protective emotional isolation have become my armor, a shield against future pain, leaving me numb and distant.
Until Willow shatters that carefully constructed fortress.
She is everything the woman of my past isn’t.
Selfless, compassionate, and distractingly beautiful.
One fake kiss, under the blinding flash of camera lights on the red carpet, alters my carefully laid plans.
As time goes on, every heated gaze, lingering touch, and passionate kiss ignites a longing in me to extend our three-year agreement far beyond its limit, and I’ll stop at nothing to get what I want.
Even when she finds out I played a hand in the predicament that started it all.

I devoured this. There is so much depth to the characters, a few plot twists, and all the emotions. Gabriel and Willow go through it - individually and together - and watching them navigate the challenges and successes had me hooked.
I highly recommend reading this if you like: ✨Age Gap ✨Boss / Employee ✨Single Mom ✨Billionaire ✨Blackmail ✨Forced Proximity ✨Protective MMC ✨Strong FMC with a bestie to match
What a wild ride. Willow is a single mom that makes a terrible mistake to save her family. Her boss, Gabriel finds out and gives her just two options. Of course she picks marriage over prison. The chemistry and banter between them was so good. The plot had a few twists and turns along the way. We see Gabriel's softer side and lean about his past. Willow is strong and fierce and fights for her family.
Wow!!! I loved this book! I received an arc in exchange for a honest review.
The story and action start on page one and I love how the story progresses. I loved Gabriel and Willow so much! Watching their love story unfold was amazing. I loved all the characters and I really hope Aella and Kennedy get a boon of their own!!
5⭐️. ✨ARC Review ✨ A book you read into the wee hours of the morning because you can’t stop reading, you have to know the ending, yeah! That was this book!! I gained a new book boyfriend , Gabriel. Is he perfect - no but when he loves, he loves hard! Willow is the perfect human, she is so true, so kind that you can’t help but love her and want the best for her! Gabriel’s intentions with Willow may begin with selfish reasons and Willow is just trying to survive and keep her son, Grayson safe. Bad intentions turn into good intentions! A kind of Pretty Woman type story, which I absolutely fell in love with Gabriel and Willow! A billionaire boss, single mom, blackmail, fake /forced marriage, age-gap, lies, secrets, twists, he falls first and hard, yearning, banter, slow burn and the perfect spice! I loved all the side characters, especially Kennedy and Aella - hope to see them soon, hint, hint! This author is a favorite of mine! My 2nd ARC of hers and both times I could not put the book down! Bravo , 🤌🏼 chefs kiss 💋 Thank you Amarie for listening to me while I was dm’ing you and reading your book 🫶🏼 Thank you to The Author Agency for sending me this ARC! Hella good time! I love Gabriel and Willow - they are perfect together. I went through all the emotions. A beautiful love story that you need to read and will not be able to put down!
Why I loved Gabriel! : He calls her beautiful 🥹 Grayson, the cutest cock blocker 🤭 He buys her an island! That’s not all - all the things. Omg! You have to read to find out, your heart will melt 🤩🥹 He gives her a “grand gesture” omg!
Some highlights: We keep the ones we love safe. There’s nothing more noble than that.
The odd thing about connections is that even when they’re broken, their strength still lingers
There’s nothing sweeter than the sight of the man you’re falling for caring for your child like he’s his own
I’m falling for this man and I never want to get back up
She doesn’t know it, but she has collapsed the first of many walls.
With her, I feel comfortable enough to be myself
The connection feels deeper, more intimate than anything I’ve ever felt before
I’m all for boss/employee, age gap romances! With a single mom too, and a little blackmail with the fake/forced marriage trope, yes please!
Willow is forced to make a decision to protect her and her son’s life. It’s the only option she has when masked men ambush her for the debts that her no good ex wracked up. In that moment she does what she has to do and steals from her boss Gabriel to save herself and her son. That moment seals her fate to Gabriel who has been waiting for an opportunity to be married to present a more stable front to his Father so he can take over the family business.
Willow is this incredibly brave and resilient young mom to her sweet baby boy. I loved seeing her feel cherished by Gabriel and openly welcomed by his parents, especially his mom who adores her and Grayson.
Seeing Gabriel’s walls shatter in both Willow and Grayson’s presence was cathartic as heck. After what he experienced in the past seeing him open himself back up to love not only as a husband but a father too made me so emotional. He becomes utterly devoted to Willow and Grayson; extremely protective and considerate.
“The second my body fused to yours on the dance floor, I felt as if heaven replaced hell and your touch was my salvation.”
Ugh, the ending… while incredibly painful it fit the story so beautifully. When the truth is revealed and the lies that couldn’t stay buried any longer are revealed the happy bubble that Gabriel and Willow worked so hard to create comes crashing down. Their time a part was tumultuous but so needed. Gabriel took the time, while broken and saddened, to better himself for Willow and Grayson. That scene at the end where they run into each other at the cafe after months apart and he says “you can see me again”absolutely gutted me. The love and devotion he felt never waned, in reality it only intensified and seeing Willow again solicited his need to never let her go again. The chemistry between these two is insane and the spice totally had me blushing.
“I’ve only ever loved one woman, and I happen to still be married to her.”
Coerced Vows is a true rollercoaster of emotions from hate to love, joy to anger and confusion in the best way. I become immensely invested to see how it ended, and was thrilled for the much deserved HEA that Gabriel, Willow, and Grayson got.
A huge thank you to the author Amarie Collins and The Author Agency for the early copy! Can’t wait for Kennedy and Aella’s story next!
I devoured Coerced Vows like my life depended on it and then sat there staring at the wall afterward because WOW. This book grabbed me by the throat from page one and refused to let go. Forced marriage done RIGHT. Messy, emotional, morally grey, and painfully addictive.
Willow absolutely wrecked me. A single mother backed into an impossible corner, choosing survival and her son over everything else. Her strength is quiet but unbreakable, and every forced smile hurt. You feel the weight of that contract, the NDA, the years ticking by like a countdown clock you can’t escape. My heart ached for her constantly.
And Gabriel Reed… listen. I hated him. Then I was fascinated. Then I was done for. Cold, controlling, ruthless billionaire boss with trauma baked into his bones and walls stacked sky high. He starts as an absolute jerk and somehow transforms into this layered, emotionally stunted man who doesn’t even realize Willow is dismantling him brick by brick. The tension between them is sharp and relentless. Every look, every touch, every fake moment turning dangerously real had me holding my breath.
The slow burn is immaculate. The way duty blurs into desire, resentment tangles with longing, and control slips through Gabriel’s fingers without him noticing? Chef’s kiss. That red carpet fake kiss scene altered my brain chemistry. I could physically feel the shift. From that moment on, there was no going back.
What really got me was the emotional depth. The betrayal. The secrets. The moment Willow realizes the truth behind her predicament and everything fractures. I felt that in my chest. And Gabriel’s internal war between ambition and love? Delicious agony.
This book is intense, emotional, and unapologetically addictive. Power imbalance, forced proximity, morally grey MMC, single mom heroine who deserves the world. I loved Willow Grayson and Gabriel Reed with my whole heart, flaws and all. This story did not ask for my consent. It simply owned me.
Willow is a single mother, who recently started working for a big company. When her son’s life was threatened, she stole money, only to get caught by her boss and given an ultimatum, either she faced prison time, or she married him. Forced to move into his penthouse, she tries to stay out of his way, but his shock at finding out she has a son makes things even trickier. When she meets his parents, and they immediately assume they’re meeting their grandson, the lies become harder to handle. Not to mention the fact that she’s irrevocably attracted to her husband, and the more time they’re forced to spend together, the more they start to feel like a real family, if only there wasn’t an expiry date.
After being betrayed by the only woman he thought he loved in the worst imaginable way, Gabriel has closed himself off from the idea of finding love or having a family of his own. When his father pressures him to settle down if he wants control of the company he has been pouring himself into for years, he comes up with a plan. Putting Willow in a position where she has no option but to accept his terms was the easy part, but living with his decision will prove to be a much harder. First, the realization that she has an infant son rocks him to his core, giving him flashbacks of the life he thought he could have had. Everything he thought he knew about Willow turns out to be wrong, and she allows him to find a side of himself he thought was lost forever. But will his secrets prevent him from having a chance at a future?
I received an early copy of this book from Naughty Nook PR and really enjoyed it. Willow shows us that a mother will do anything for her child, even at her own risk, and while Gabriel starts off distant and cold, the further we go into the story, the more we realize how good she is for him. When the chemistry between them starts to heat things up, they go all in and I was here for it. I knew he had a darker side, but the plot twists absolutely shook me, and watching him try to pull himself out of the darkness had me pulling for him. I can’t wait to read Kennedy and Aella’s story, cause I just know they’ll keep me on my toes.
Until now, Willow’s life has been a series of misfortunes that have really tested her. But with a son depending on her, she is willing to go to any lengths to keep her little family safe, even if it means being blackmailed into a marriage of convenience with her ruthless boss, Gabriel.
I just want to start off by saying that THIS. WAS. SO. GOOD.
Truly, Gabriel surprised me in the best way. On the surface, he gives major grinch energy, closed off, stern, and emotionally distant, but underneath all of that was a man with a heart of gold. He shut himself down a long time ago (and honestly for good reason) but watching him slowly come back to life, reconnect with himself, and let love in again was so satisfying to read! His growth felt earned, not rushed, and that was what made me fall for him even harder.
My homegirl Willow was an absolute warrior. This girl has been through a lifetime of sadness and struggle and yet she never stopped fighting for her son or her own happiness. I was rooting for her the entire time and seeing her finally be accepted into a family that truly cared for her felt so healing. I also really loved her relationship with Vivian, because we need more mother in laws with hearts like hers in romance books.
The ending was a tough read and incredibly emotional, it really hit home with the realities of life, but their happily ever after truly felt earned. I would honestly kill for a bonus epilogue, but at the same time, it ended perfectly in its own way and I wouldn’t change a thing.
Going into this, I honestly did not really know what to expect since Amarie Collins is a new for me, but I was completely blown away by the writing, the depth of emotion, and how much I ended up loving Gabriel and Willow together. I am already so excited for Kennedy and Aelia’s chaotic book, because if this one is anything to go by, it is going to be wild.
Trapped by a contract. Bound by a ring. Falling for the man who took her choice. 😮💨💔
📖 Coerced Vows by Amarie Collins ⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Tropes: 💼 Billionaire 📎 Boss × Employee 🤍 Single Mother 💍 Forced Marriage 🏠 Forced Proximity ⚔️ Enemies to Lovers ⏳ Age Gap
Willow makes one life-changing mistake when she steals for her boss’s company. Now, facing jail time that could ruin her son’s life, she’s given an ultimatum by Gabriel: marry him… or lose everything.
The romance between these two is so intense and visceral, it’s impossible to ignore. Their relationship develops slowly and feels very realistic, especially considering the situation they’re thrown into. Gabriel’s possessiveness? Absolutely top-tier. Even before he admits his feelings, he’s already protective and territorial—and honestly, who doesn’t love that? 😌🔥
Their backstories were surprisingly deep and emotional. Learning more about their pasts helped me understand their choices and motivations better, and it made their connection feel more real and meaningful.
What disappointed me a little was how abruptly the story ended. I really wanted more groveling, more emotional payoff, and just… more of them. I wasn’t ready to let go yet 😭
Overall, this was a solid forced-marriage romance with strong chemistry, emotional depth, and a possessive MMC that delivers. I just wish the ending had given us a bit more.
Thank you Naughty Nook PR and Amarie Collins for this ARC. 💖📚
*I was given this book as an eArc but my review is based solely on my own thoughts and opinions*
It starts off right into the story, no story building, bam! It’s crazy what people will do is desperate situations. In no way did she think she would get away with stealing, she should have known the repercussions of doing so, but then again when you’re in a bind, you’re not really thinking.
Their relationship starts off physical and the emotional part and then getting to know each other is slow. Personally I like those 2 things to be swapped, I want burning and everything about her to be want you want but it’s nice to see a relationship grow. However the story is fast pace. I would have liked to see their relationship grow. They go from getting married straight to being a couple, wanted more of a transition.
Can we talk about how finally there’s a rich mom whose supportive and kind!? That’s a feat in itself. Love that!
I love the subtle small things like gently caressing her shoulder or seeing her eyes light up for something at the auction and buying it for her. Too cute.
This book is a lot less subdued than other books this author has written. Just goes to show she can write multiple genres. I enjoyed it and liked seeing a different side to this author. It was maybe a bit too cute haha I did want a little more “bad boy” for the mmc haha but nonetheless I enjoyed it. I enjoy this author in general. It was a cute read to read in between all my Romantasy reads.
Coerced Vows by Amarie Collins pulled me in from the very first chapter and refused to let go. The pacing is relentless in the best way, every reveal, every confrontation, every emotional shift just keeps tightening the grip.
Willow is such a refreshingly innocent FMC. There’s a softness to her that never feels weak, just genuine and pure in a way that makes you want to protect her. Watching her navigate everything thrown at her while still holding onto that core of who she is made her incredibly compelling.
Gabriel, on the other hand, is guarded, distant, and very much carrying the weight of his past. His standoffish nature makes sense as the layers of his trauma are slowly peeled back. I loved that his backstory wasn’t dumped all at once, the steady reveal kept the tension high and the emotion even higher. You feel why he is the way he is.
The drama in this book does not let up. It’s a bumpy ride from start to finish; intense, emotional, and sometimes heartbreaking. And the slow burn? Absolutely worth it. The way their relationship builds, piece by piece, was fabulous. You can see the trust forming, the walls cracking, and it makes every small moment between them feel huge.
If I had one complaint, it’s that the ending wrapped up a little too quickly for me. After such a high-intensity journey, I would have happily read another 50 pages just to let everything breathe a bit more. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye.
Overall, this was a gripping, drama-filled slow burn with emotional depth and characters you can’t help but root for.
Gabriel came in hot—full tyrant energy—and honestly, I was not prepared for how fast everything spiraled. One minute he’s executing this master plan, the next? Boom. Chaos. Enter poor Willow, an innocent bystander just trying to protect her baby boy while getting dragged straight into the storm.
And listen… I love when a perfectly calculated, cold-blooded plan comes crashing down because of one tiny little human. Absolutely chef’s kiss. 👌 I didn’t even realize how layered Gabriel’s plan was at first, which made watching it unravel even better. Meanwhile, Willow is forced to endure it all, standing in the blast radius of his ambition.
But once those walls start cracking? That’s where this story really hits. The vulnerability, the slow emotional exposure, the raw moments between Gabriel and Willow—it’s messy, intense, and painfully real. Their relationship doesn’t feel easy or pretty, and that’s exactly why it works. Some of their scenes genuinely tug at your chest and make everything feel deeper, heavier, more.
My only small gripe? The epilogue left me wanting just a bit more—it felt slightly unfinished. That said, it didn’t take away from the story at all.
Overall, this book grabbed me, wrecked me a little, and left me desperate for what’s next. I cannot wait for the next book. 😮💨🔥
I genuinely loved everything about Coerced Vows. From the very beginning, the tension was thick, and it only continued to build in the best way possible. The slow, deliberate sexual buildup was one of my favorite parts — it never felt rushed, and the anticipation made every interaction between the characters that much more intense. The plot itself kept me fully invested. Just when I thought I had a handle on where the story was going, a twist came out of nowhere and completely changed the direction of the book. It was unexpected without feeling forced, and it added so much depth to the overall story. The redemption arc for the MMC was another standout for me. Watching his character evolve felt earned and believable, which made it easy to root for him by the end. Beyond the romance and spice, the emotional payoff was incredibly satisfying. This is one of those books that gives you that giddy, can’t-put-it-down feeling — the kind where you’re constantly sneaking in “just one more chapter.” Everything came together beautifully, and the balance between tension, emotion, and passion was done perfectly.
I just finished Coerced Vows by Amamarie Collin’s and I absolutely loved it! This was the first book by this author I’ve read and I’m looking forward to reading more.
The twist nearing the end of this book was insanely good! The whole book is built off of secrets, so maybe I shouldn’t have been surprised, but wow! I was blown away. Dare I say it was diabolical! Gabriel has certainly been through it with his past…my heart ached for him. Willow hasn’t had it easy either and although they really were polar opposites I thought they were perfect together. Gabriel and Grayson together were just adorable. Also I’m pretty sure Vivian deserves the best MIL/grandmother of the year award. The way she treated both Willow and Grayson was everything!!!
Up next is Kennedy and Aella and I can’t wait!
Thank you to Amamarie Collin’s and The Author agency for the ARC of this book.
Darren disappeared and left Willow, and their 6 month old son, Grayson after spending all of her money on alcohol and gambling. Willow gets a visit from a group of masked men looking for the $174K Darren owed them. They are from the Chicago Mafia and they gave Willow 24 hours to get the money, or they were going to take Grayson until Darren repaid his debt. Willow had to return to work early, shortly before this visit as an accountant. Her best friend Aella got her the job and Willow stole the money from her billionaire boss, Gabriel Reed. Willow was included in an acquisition meeting where Gabriel asked her to stay behind, to confront her with her theft. Gabriel offered her 2 options: jail or to marry him, stay for 3 years and sign a non-disclosure agreement. Since Willow was an orphan, she didn’t want Grayson in the foster system. Willow chose the marriage and in time starts to fall for Gabriel, then she learns his big secret thanks to Aella. Would you choose imprisonment or a forced marriage? I could not put this down and finished within hours. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Coerced Vows kicks off the billionaire boss series with a story featuring a single mom, blackmail, fake marriage, age gap, secrets, twists, and slow-burn romance.
Willow (MFC) is a courageous and resilient young mother devoted to her baby boy. When masked men ambush her because of debts incurred by her unreliable ex, Willow is left with no choice but to protect herself and her son. To survive, she steals from her boss Gabriel (MFC). This act binds her fate to Gabriel, who has been seeking an opportunity to get married to present a more stable image to his father and take over the family business.
Coerced Vows offers a dynamic exploration of emotional transitions, spanning themes such as animosity, affection, joy, anger, and confusion. As my first encounter with Amaire Collins's work, I found the book to be thoroughly engaging and well-crafted.
A fast-paced, gripping romance that proves a story doesn’t need length to leave a lasting impact. Gabriel is the ultimate morally grey hero. He’s ruthless, controlling, and shaped by past betrayal. Willow is a desperate single mother determined to protect her son, Grayson. Their forced marriage starts as a cold deal but slowly grows into something deeper, filled with tension, secrets, and emotional vulnerability. The slow burn is deliciously agonizing, the chemistry is scorching, and the mix of danger, blackmail, and heartfelt moments keeps the story engaging without ever feeling rushed. Watching Gabriel move heaven and earth (and do questionable things) for Willow and her son is incredibly satisfying, and seeing Willow take back control of her life is powerful and emotional. The unexpected ending made the final pages especially heartfelt and left me smiling long after I finished. Gabriel, Willow, and Grayson truly earned their HEA, and I can’t wait for Aella and Kennedy’s story next.
Thank you to Naughty Nook PR and author Amarie Collins for this advanced readers copy. All opinions are my own.
I devoured this book. Loved the plot. The beginning hooked me from page one. I really appreciated the progression of Gabriel's character. I felt the ruthless MMC at the beginning evolved into his character at the end (no spoilers) in a way that was realistic and had the reader pulling for him and his healing. Willow is fierce and strong. The way she was able to overcome obstacles in her life was endearing and admirable.
The pacing was lightning fast at times and probably could benefit from slowing down at certain parts. That is the only thing that kept it from five stars for me.
What I loved: ✨ Age gap ✨ Single mom ✨ Ruthless millionaire ✨ Arranged marriage ✨ Trauma healing ✨ Betrayal & groveling
This is the first in a new series, and this is Willow and Gabriel’s story. Willow is a single mom to her son, and desperations has her stealing money from her billionaire boss, Gabriel, who is ruthless, intimidating, and domineering, and when he finds out he gives her an ultimatum, imprisonment, or marry him for a fixed period. Gabriel has hardened his heart after a betrayal from a manipulative women, but can Willow soften his heart? This is a well written story, which has family, friendships, emotions, billionaire boss / employee, desperation, tension, making choices, compassion, forced marriage, close proximity, an age gap, morally grey, humour, witty banter, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining addictive page tuner. I look forward to reading more from this author.
This is my first book by this author and it's definitely not going to be my last one either. This book sunk it's claws into me from the first chapter. I liked the overall plot of the narrative. And I loved the growth and development of the characters. The betrayal, the secrets, the truths, and the twists and turns were unexpected yet perfectly placed. I was surprised by some of the things that happened in this. But nonetheless this was an amazing story that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Favorite quote: "The second my body fused to yours on the dance floor, I felt as if heaven replaced hell and your touch was my salvation."
Willow and Gabriel end up in an arranged marriage when he blackmails her into marrying him. What he never anticipates is that he will actually fall in love with her and she will fall in love with him. Gabriel brings out Willow’s assertive side during the many times she stands up to him and pushes back and she also is able to break thru his tough walls to get him to see there is more to life. Plenty of steamy interactions too. Their story isn’t without some suspense and life changing challenges that will really put their relationship to the test. Will his blackmail arrangement backfire on him and cause him to lose Willow?
I was completely flabbergasted in a good way we were thrown into the story of Willow and Gabriel. IT was a whirlwind of fake marriage, sexual tension, and a past that haunts us that I almost finished this story in 1 day but I edged myself. Loved the way that Gabriel just becomes this smitten man through the book and how Willow starts to have those smexy feelings and thoughts of gabriel. But thats not its about lol The rollercoaster that this book puts us on is nuts at least in my opinion. Because that plot twist at the end I was not expecting...or maybe I was but I'm gullible. 5 stars for me and I cannot to dive into her other books.
Coerced Vows was my first read by Amarie Collins and I will definitely be reading more from her. I loved the messy ride that Willow and Gabriel took us on. Single mom, Willow makes a huge mistake for the sake of her family that lands her in the cross hairs of Gabriel. What began as a way to save herself from prison ends up being a plot twisting HEA that I didn't see coming. Who knew blackmail could be so good, but also heartbreaking in the process. Their chemistry and connection was palpable, and their separation nearly broke me. The cafe scene - gah! Be still my heart. I went through ALL the emotions with this couple and enjoyed every single moment of them.
Wow, Willow and Gabriel were a rollercoaster. But it was one ride I was glad I hopped on. This book was so good, so intense. The beginning for both of them was awful. Literally nothing more than a piece of paper to satisfy Gabriel’s needs. But as time went on. He saw more to Willow. I loved he started to soften towards her. See more of her than the paper that he forced her to sign. Suddenly their attraction was undeniable. I loved the way these two formed a connection. That they found so much more in one another. This was a really good story. I was so glad to be able to be a part of this ARC team.
Willow had done something terrible to protect her son. She just never expected her boss to find out or even let her know he knows.
But when Gabriel does, he also blackmails her into marrying him. He says it’s a threat to her so he doesn’t involve the police. But it’s also a way to prove to his father that he’s settled down & ready for the business to be passed to him.
But he never expected her to have a son & even more so, he never expected to actually fall for her. His past left him absolutely extra cautious of any woman. Which makes him falling for Willow even better.
And Willow never expected to fall for him either. But all that time together really makes that impossible.
But when Willow learns something about Gabriel it leaves her absolutely disgusted with him & willing to void their agreement.
But they work it out before tragedy strikes again. Which leaves the two of them unable to work past everything.
They definitely had to go through some troubles before they were able to move on.
"I told you that you were mine, and you are. Not for three years, but forever. You belong by my side. Grayson belongs by my side. And that will never change"

I 💯 devoured this book in one sitting. This one was angsty and full of that all encompassing tension and chemistry. I got totally wrapped up in the enemies to lovers in this one! Gabriel is definitely is definitely a complete dick to start off. Demanding and brooding. When he finds Willow , his employee, stealing a significant amount of money from him. He blackmails her into marrying him. Willow a single mom agrees to marry him so she can take care of her baby. I love the depth and emotions both of these characters have. The twists and turns you’ll never see coming and the grovel Gabriel does to win Willow back! This was such a great read! I’m so excited to see where this goes in the next book 😏💓🖤
Coerced Vows by Amarie Collins is a whirlwind of drama and betrayal. Willow and Gabriel navigate a minefield of secrets and unexpected twists that keeps the tension high from start to finish. However, while the story is undeniably gripping, the rushed pace occasionally undermines the emotional rewards, leaving some character and storyline shifts feeling a bit sudden.
Ultimately, even with the sudden shifts mentioned above, Coerced Vows is impactful and memorable.
I received an advanced copy. This is my honest and voluntary review.
