In the beginning I found APC's writing too simple, almost banal - I guess I was looking at her from an ironic perspective ... (A flaw of being trained in the -90's)
But as I continued reading I discovered so much more.
As I am currently reading several books on buddhism & mindfulness it didn't take long to discover similar ideas in APC's writing.
No wonder Henry James liked her so well.
