Kids ages when first read: 6 and 7 1/2. My mom brought my childhood collection of Foxwood books the last time she and my dad visited, and I'm so thrilled to be able to share them with my girls now. The stories are simple and charming, the illustrations gorgeous and intricate, and the characters fun and heart-warming. So far, the girls are enjoying them as much as I did when I was their age.

I’m expanding my collection of children’s books, and I’ll keep the ones that get a good reaction from the kiddos I nanny for. Personally, this book was rather “meh” for me, but at least the pictures and the storyline kept Eden interested.

Charming illustrations, story is okay. Some imaginative moments, and good characters, though it was hard to distinguish the three main characters from the text.
