A modern reimagining of mythology that feels both familiar and fresh. The author blends ancient archetypes with real places, dates, and contemporary life, making the fantasy feel grounded and alive. The story explores not just conflict, but the purpose behind it, why stories of good and evil endure, and what they teach us across generations.
While the tone can be dark and intense, there is a deeper layer beneath it: a reflection on love, loss, and the moral weight of our choices. It reads like mythology walking into our present world and asking us to look again at what these stories truly mean.
With Part II arriving on 31st January, I’m waiting eagerly to continue this journey.

Quite an interesting read. I loved the concept of this book - mythology meets the present world. I loved the way the author has written this story and kept the suspense building. The characters are well-defined along with the events. A page-turner for sure.

In this heroic escapade, Dr. Manish Dwivedi infuses mystic mythology into present times, plunging the reader into a world where immortal demi gods live amongst us unnoticed.
What I loved most about this book was that the hero Kabir is an ordinary man, struggling with his past tragedies that make him stronger rather than dragging him down.
This book has everything, from hostage situations to legendary weapons that need to be unlocked–but what tops all this is the radiating presence of the immortals, some blessed while others cursed.
I would recommend this book to all those readers who love religious mythology as well as anyone who loves a thrilling adventure.

This author did an amazing job of putting us right in the middle of a war humanity. A war that has been raging forever but is coming to a head. The action is well done and the plot and world are indepth and well thought out. Can't wait to read part two!

What a great read, I strongly recommend this book. The story is stunning and captivating that you can't put it down. Imagine mythology meeting the present, this the book you have got to read. It has soul, the characters are fleshed out and you can feel the emotions. I definitely reading book 2

Kabir, an ordinary guy with problems supporting a family, actually loses his family when deadly blasts rock Mumbai which herald the beginning of an epic war between good and evil. He is drawn into the world of immortals, so yes, it's like an action-packed superhero movie, but it's also a reflection of the Hindu myths and legends. Makes you wonder if this ordinary guy just started reading the ancient books, and, rather than dealing with his problems, just started believing in the apocalypse.
