What started as a love triangle turns into a why choose!! I'm still team Kraven but hold onto your hats because the Queen of Angst has all the angst and twists!!
I loved Say You're Ours. Watching Julius, Kraven, and Isla finally get the family they deserved was so satisfying—it felt earned in the best way. The story does start a little slow, but once it picks up, it really picks up. And honestly? I’m obsessed with the shift from what started as a love triangle into a full-on “why choose” situation. That alone made the emotional payoff so much better. Julius isn’t nearly as put together as he first seems, and Kraven isn’t as emotionally shut down as we’re led to believe—and that unraveling of both characters added so much depth. Seeing those layers peel back made me love them even more. Overall, this book delivers on angst, heart, and healing—and I was completely here for it.
This story pick up right we ended the last book, and let a just say it’s a whirlwind of emotions. This story had it all so many twist and turns you won’t see coming.
Isla, Julius and Kraven all have to come to terms with this new reality. Isla loves them both, and both guys aren’t going to let her go either. Obviously this new dynamic is new for them all, and need to learn that no one is going anywhere and learn to see where all this goes not just for them but for the new bundle of joy.
I really enjoyed this story, even going into it knowing that this was going to be a why choose. Isla couldn’t choose, her heart loves two and it was the best choice for her and them.
The queen of angst is back and playing with our hearts in the best way.
Say You're Ours picks up right where book one left us.... at the edge of our seats. Questioning everything we knew to be true, throwing us into absolute turmoil right alongside Isla.
Two brothers. One woman. What's the worst that can happen. Imagine it. It happened and then some.
Julius and Kraven are her everything. She breathes for them. Hurts with them. Loves them. What happens when you stop fighting and open your eyes to the one who sees you for YOU. All your flaws, your pain and heartbreak, your accomplishments, your truths. Your love - unwavering and undying. Hearts can be filled to overflowing with not only one... but two.
This story was beautiful! I seriously didn't want to turn that last page. These three are engraved in my heart. Not as one, but as a whole. Gahhh so so good!
Say You’re Oursby M. Robinson picks right up off the cliffhanger of book oneWe Are Yours.Continuing to be told through the multiple perspective of Isla Fox, Julius Knightley and Kraven Knightley.
Let it be known, before startingSay You’re Oursauthor M. Robinson not only had my nerves climbling. My emotions too, which were already at an all time high. Even with knowing the story would now end in a Why Choose, it didn’t stop the war fare from going on inside internally.
The way I jumped right in and couldn’t stop is the truth. With every page turn, the more I read, the deeper I fell, author Monica truly had me devouring it like no other, only to finish it 4 hours later.
The continuation of Isla, Julius and Kraven’s journey had much to delve into with all it had to give and unleash upon us. From the depths of the Knightley brothers complex relationship, that dug further down, paving the way to some surprising twists. To the ongoing complexity of the Love Triangle relationship that Isla had going with Julius and with Kraven too. Leading to conflicting emotions, desires and thoughts. And not just from Isla’s side, which was showcased as each of the characters navigated through their journeys.
The story truly hit deep and hard, to the point of having me teary eyed, something that I was unprepared for to say the least. But it should be no surprise given the outpour of so many emotions, leading to a journey that was a whirlwind rollercoaster ride in being that super emotionally charged. And with the accompaniment of angsty turmoil unleashed too, it paved the way for the surge of even more feelings in being raw and nitty gritty, having come from both the story and the characters themselves. Yet that was to be expected, given all that author Monica showcased within each of the characters POV chapters, given their inner monologues. Breaking them down even more through their character development that showed further unravelling of their layers in opening Isla, Julius and Kraven even more so than before. Ultimately playing into their relationship development too, given how it linked all together.
While the story may have seemed straight forward in focusing quite thoroughly on Isla, Julius and Kraven as characters and the complexity of their Love Triangle relationship. The addition of some bumps from the hurdles along the way, as well as some explosive bombshells that will leave you jaw dropped proved there was more to the story than meets the eye.
There were a couple of issues I just couldn’t ignore and get passed unfortunately. One being one of the subplots having been explained away in the quickest and fastest way with only a few sentences. This didn't sit right IMO, considering its importance which started in the first bookWe Are Yours. The other issue came from feeling like not all the loose ends were tied up, at least when it came to outside characters who had made appearances throughout the duet.
The proof is in the pudding, Queen of AngstM. Robinson came through yet again with a well told and written conclusion toLove TriangleduetSay You’re Ours. The wait to readSay You’re Ourswas well worth what was delivered in seeing the final instalment to Isla, Julius and Kraven's journey through conflict within a super emotionally charged, angsty whirlwind in their Why Choose Romance. And that epilogue, particularly the final bombshell author M. Robinson finished on, talk about mind blown and chefs kiss simultaneously.
*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Love triangles are the bane of my existence and also the love of my little heart. So imagine my shock and elation when I realised the second book of Love Triangle duet is why choose. I was so relieved because after finishing book one, I really didn't want to choose between Julius and Kraven! Say You're Ours is all about angst and heartache but those moments lead to a beautiful happily ever after.
🖤MFM/ Why choose 🖤 new adult romance 🖤 two brothers and The girl they love 🖤 found family
I loved how we get to see the other side of both brothers. Julius has been the responsible brother carrying the weight of the world and now he is breaking under it. He did every shady thing to protect his brother and then Isla but he is no longer want to be selfless because he cannot let Isla go. It was heartbreaking to see his pain and anger coming out like that but it was cathartic. On the other hand, bad boy Kraven has started taking responsibility and being the sensible one! I never imagined it. He has been the reckless c0cky arrogant one and now he is showing Julius how they can keep Isla. She is in real tough place. She loves two men who almost hate each other now. She cannot be the one standing between two brothers. They each own half of her heart. They survived through a lot and these men built her heart back up. They made her whole and happy and complete. It was messy. It was complicated. Emotions were running high. Each turn was dramatic and devastating. But the ending was all worth it. Julius and Kraven are both so possessive and obsessed. They are bound by the struggles and the way they love Isla. For her, they came to a compromise. They still love each other but they just lost it along the way. And now they have the life they deserved. I wished it kept on going a bit but the last sentence made me smile like a loon. Because I knew deep in my heart who I choose. Even though Isla had them all.
This story had it all, twists and turns, and is highly emotional. The story picks up where it ended, and that cliffhanger was a doozy. Julius feels nothing but betrayal. The family they were building is on shaky ground. Our hearts broke for Julius, one brother, the protector, the other the betrayer. After how much Julius sacrificed to keep the ones he loves together and provided for turns on him in the blink of an eye.
More complications compile in this one. Kraven and Isla stop dancing around one another, and what is between them adds another complication to an already complicated situation. Three hearts are involved. Isla's health is at risk. Secrets coming to life. Julius, Kraven, and Isla all have to come to terms with their new reality. Isla loves them both, yet neither is going to let her go.
Isla is not going to choose; either they make it work or lose her altogether. You can see why Isla fell for Kraven and the connection they had. At the same time, it seemed so unfair that Julius, after everything he had done to keep their little family afloat, couldn't keep the one thing that was his and his alone without making another sacrifice.
There were more than a few OMG moments and shocking revelations, life-changing situations have risen once again, we can't say we saw some of them coming, while others were obvious. The chemistry among the trio was pure fire. It was compelling to see their new reality all play out, and if we are right, maybe just maybe Julius got one thing that would truly belong to him. Another exciting read for us.
I really enjoyed the first book, and honestly was let down at this one. The decision to make this into a why choose instead of having her pick one of the brothers felt like a very last minute decision, however I was willing to finish the duology because I liked the first one.
It truly felt like the book was already written, and the author swapped out the last 30% with a why choose ending. The boys were so incredibly jealous throughout the series that it made it hard to believe they were just all of a sudden fine with sharing her, even being with her at the same time. Mind you, they were raised as biological siblings their whole lives, up until 12 hours before they both had her at the same time. It felt very off to me. Even up until the ending Julius still wasn’t completely on board with it, he just didn’t want to lose Isla so he caved. Also didn’t really understand why we were told who the bio dad of the baby was the very last sentence when she didn’t tell either of the boys. No epilogue with the baby actually there either so again, I didn’t understand the point of the pregnancy other than to create a riff so she would’ve had to choose one of them. Which is how I’m assuming the story was supposed to go but then was changed at the last minute. Overall I was disappointed as I normally love this authors books! I wish it would’ve stayed a love triangle and not a why choose.

Say You’re Ours is the second and final installment in the Why Choose Duet, picking up exactly where We Are Yours leaves off. Isla Fox, Julius, and Kraven Knightly find themselves grappling with unresolved issues, lingering questions, and a deep sense of betrayal that continues to test their bond. At the heart of the story are two brothers locked in an emotional tug-of-war over their love for Isla. Neither is willing to let her go, and neither is ready to walk away. As the story unfolds, a surprising discovery threatens to unravel their already fragile dynamic—but ultimately, it’s the strength of their connection and love that helps carry them through. M. Robinson truly shines in her ability to guide readers through every moment. Her attention to detail allows you to feel the emotional buildup in each scene, making it easy to stay fully immersed. This was a quick, engaging read with plenty of spice woven throughout. While it’s never easy to say goodbye to characters you’ve grown attached to, Robinson gives readers a satisfying glimpse into their future with a heartfelt epilogue, while also tying up lingering questions. This was my first Why Choose Romance, and while it is not your typical romance, it is absolutely worth giving it a chance.
Oohhh.. This one was emotional and oh so high on angst that it will feel like a emotional roller-coaster.
We continue right where we left off in the previous book and the tension is so freaking thick between Julius, Isla and Kraven that you could feel it in every moment.
And while they are all dealing with the unknown... Boom... Something happens and the sense of betrayal just throws everything upside down.
The dialogues, the moments and the scenes written made me feel every single thing the trio was going through. Because for Isla she knows she won't be able to choose between both the men but after what's happened, things become all the more complicated now.
Oohhh... The spicy times come in later but they were so dayumm sizzling hot... Imagine Julius, Isla and Kraven together... Oh my... 🥵🔥
This book truly defines why Ms. Robinson does angst that will make you feel every emotion and turmoil the characters are going through, because I did feel all of it. What a Spice filled, emotional ride this one was.
This one stayed with me, coming into this after the first book, I already felt connected to Isla, Julius, and Kraven, but this one just hits deeper. Everything feels heavier, more intense, like all the emotions are sitting right under the surface the entire time. The tension between Julius and Kraven being brothers? It never stops. It’s in every moment, every look, every choice. You can feel how complicated everything really is without it ever needing to be explained. Kraven still has that pull that’s hard to ignore, but Julius brings something completely different. Being stuck between both of them the way Isla is, you feel that. And Isla herself? She’s not just there, she carries everything. You can feel the weight of what she’s dealing with, the emotions, the confusion, all of it. It makes everything hit harder. M. Robinson really did her thing with this duet. It’s emotional, tense, there’s definitely that steamy edge woven through it too. She did a wonderful job on this, I'd suggest reading it, it's a great story. Thank you, M. Robinson, Great work :) I really enjoyed this. I’m still thinking about them.
This second book picks up right where the first one left off, which I loved. It’s fast-paced, straight to the point, and doesn’t waste time, something I always appreciate in books.
There were a few standout things for me. First, the shift from a love triangle to a why-choose dynamic really surprised me. That’s not usually a trope I enjoy, but it genuinely worked here. I definitely had a favorite and knew who I wanted her to end up with, but at the same time, I found myself torn, like noooo, what about the other one?! It kept me emotionally invested the entire time.
I also really enjoyed the twist involving the brothers. It added just enough intrigue without feeling over-the-top and gave the story an extra layer that kept things interesting. And finally, we do find out who the father is. While it didn’t necessarily matter to me going in, I won’t lie, I was happy it turned out the way I was hoping.
Overall, this was a fun, engaging read with a good mix of romance, tension, and a few surprises along the way. A solid follow-up that kept me hooked and definitely made me want to keep going with the series.
What to expect? 👩🦰 HATE TO SHARE HER 🤰ACCIDENTAL PREGNANCY 🐺 LONE WOLF 👦🏼 GOLDEN BOY 🐈⬛ BLACK CAT 🏠 FORCED PROXIMITY 🗡️ TOUCH HER AND ☠️ ❤️🔥WHY CHOOSE
When she couldn’t choose, she made them. Why choose when they’re both in LOVE with her?
Return to their love story with me and find out how our love triangle becomes a why choose and a seriously sweet plot twist when trying to make sure Isla and the baby are safe and sound.
Watch Julius and Kraven get mad at one another, but make up and decide that Isla deserves a happy ending in her life even if that means they have to share.
It’s M. Robinsons first why choose and I’d say she crushed it and made me love these characters after it was all said and done. And I’m glad no one ever blamed Isla for her last foster dad. IYKYK.
Snag this book and go on a ride with these three little roommates who get their happy. 😃
I couldn’t wait for Say You’re Ours after that hardcore cliffhanger. I felt for the three of them as they struggled with their choices but I didn’t get emotional like book one which surprised me. I thought the love triangle turned why choose would make me even more invested in them but I wasn’t - maybe because of the repetition and how slow going it was in the beginning chapters of this book. The intensity and steam kinda fizzled out. I did love that Isla knew who the baby’s father was and I smiled when we as the readers found out. I was nervous thinking M wouldn’t tell us and we’d have to wonder long after we read the last page. Thank goodness that was not the case. I was happy who the father was and I think it needed to be that way for everyone’s sake. Even the lone wolf, the golden boy and the former lost girl deserved their happily ever after and they finally believed it too. One word can change everything and it did in the best way.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
This is the second book in the Love Triangle Duet. You have to read We Are Yours before this one or you are going to be lost. I was so happy to be back with Isla, Julius, and Karven. This book has a shift in it and when it happens you are going to love it. It turns more into a why choose romance and I loved that so much. We get to see that who we thought Julius was in the first book, is not as put together as we first were thinking. Then we have Kraven who seems to be not very emotional, but boy oh boy when his shift comes it is a thing to behold. I don't know that I can say much about this book and not give something away. I loved every single second of it and you do have to remember that M. Robinson has a reputation for being the queen of angst. This was a great duet. I loved reading it.
🖤 Why Choose Romance 🖤 Two Brothers 🖤 New Adult Romance
⭐ 4/5
Julius, Isla and Kraven’s conclusion
This story follows Julius, Isla and Kraven. And the book picks up where the first one ended. A book with many emotions, twists and turns. All three characters have to accept the fact that Isla loves both men. And in return Julius and Kraven can’t let her go either. The brothers have a really complicated relationship which will come up with surprises. But Julius and Kraven finally change themselves for the better. And for Isla. Who doesn’t have it easy, being in love with both of them. There are struggles, heartbreaking moments and lots of emotions. Full of drama and devastation. But with a deserved happy end.
This is the conclusion to the Love Triangle duet and continues on exactly where the last book left off.
I will once again be brief with this one. I love that we get to know who the father of the baby is. And I love that these three are able to find their HEA. But something was missing for me. I felt like things were repeated alot and I wasn't feeling as attached to these characters as I did in the first book.
There is character growth and I love that readers can see that. It was nice seeing both gentleman show up for her in their own ways. While I struggled to connect to these characters like I did in the first book, I still enjoyed the story.
I love Monica's writing and the stories she creates. However, this one was just down the middle ok for me. I definitely think it's a me thing because others loved this duet. So if the blurb intrigues you, give it a go
Say You're Ours is the second story in the Love Triangle Duet. It is a continuation from the first story.
This story picks up where the first one, We Are Yours, leaves off. Isla, Julius, and Kraven are dealing with issues that are yet solved. There are so many things that need to be dealt with including betrayal.
The two brothers, Julius and Kraven, can't let Isla go and neither of them can leave her alone. Isla is torn between them and loves both of them. Their story has a lot of twists that you won't see coming. It is a rollercoaster of emotions.
I loved the why choose aspect of their story. It was a great adventure and it will leave you spent. I loved the connection Isla had with both of the brothers. I look forward to the next story.
Yasssssss @authormrobinson gave us the ending that Julius, Kraven, and Isla deserved!!!! What an emotional rollercoaster.. to say these three have had it rough is an understatement and then trying to navigate this new dynamic did not come easy but what a beautiful messy love story they share ! We love how they each love so different but it just works when they come together 🖤 the twists that came out, angst, banter & tension kept us so hooked !!! They love hard & the way they fought even harder to keep it was beautiful! If you love TROPES: Why-Choose Accidental Pregnancy Brothers in Love with the Same Woman Touch Her and Die He Only Softens for Her Forced Proximity / Roommates Hate to Love You Then you need to get this new WHY-CHOOSE DUET by @authormrobinson FREE IN KINDLE UNLIMITED Book 1 ‘WE ARE YOURS’ Book 2 ‘SAY YOU’RE OURS’
I was torn with this book. I really liked it, but it read differently. It felt different. I think it's because it did not have a lot of action and outside interactions. It really centered on our three main characters, and I think I just needed more closure with certain things. But I love that this was originally going to be a book where Isla was going to have to choose, and it turned into a why choose. And let me tell you, it would have been hard to choose! And this duet deals with a lot, and with this second book, we get the outcome I think most people are rooting for. The angst is definitely off the charts and the twists are something else. On that note, let me just say Happy Reading!
This book picked up exactly where book 1 left off and M. Robinson did not disappoint. There was still a lot of angst as these characters worked towards their HEA. They definitely had their work cut out for them as well. They way their relationship went from her having to choose, to them working towards not having to choose at all was so flawlessly written. I was not expecting that little twist there towards the end and really felt like it wwas going to be a wrench in their relationship that couldn’t be worked through. But Isla, Kraven and Julius worked through it together and made it to their HEA as they should. It was a great ending to their story and im so glad Isla did not have to choose because there was no way that I could’ve chose either lol
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by the author)...
I really wasn’t sure how this duet was going to go initially as a love triangle, but I’m so glad it ended up being a why-choose. Isla, Kraven and Julius definitely had an intense journey in this book given their start in “We Are Yours” and at times I wanted shake some sense them.
My original thoughts on Kraven and Julius were altered a bit as the plot progressed and I really liked that. Things were not as they originally seemed at first and it made everything more angsty. The basic idea was Isla loves them both deeply and neither guy was going to give her up, so now what were they going to do; I think their path was difficult yet wonderful to see unfold.
Say You’re Ours completely pulled me in and refused to let go! This story is packed with emotion, tension, and a romance that refuses to fit into a simple box.
Isla’s heart belongs to both brothers, and she makes it clear she won’t choose—and honestly, I loved that for her. The dynamic between all three of them kept things intense, complicated, and impossible to look away from. And the brothers? They’re just as determined to hold onto her, which only raises the stakes.
Adding a baby into the mix brought even more depth and emotion to the story. It made everything feel more real, more urgent, and definitely more messy in the best way.
This was one of those books I couldn’t put down. I kept turning pages late into the night because I needed answers—and the payoff was absolutely worth it!
This is the second part of this impressive duet, and “We are Yours” must be read first. Isla, Julius, and Kraven’s journey continues as they navigate through their complex relationship. This is a well written emotional roller coaster, with family dynamics, friendships, tension, drama, angst, conflict, turmoil, forced proximity, opposites attract, touch her, and die vibes, why choose, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, and unpredictable, addictive love triangle page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
This one picks up right where things left off at the end of book one in the duet. Isla, Kraven, and Julius are complicated and messy. Their story is full of emotion, pain, love, angst, drama, passion, and so much more. They truly take you on a journey throughout the duet.
The love they all have for each other is unique. Their relationship with each other is complicated and changing in ways that neither of them expected and in ways that may take some of them a little bit to get used to.
If you’re a fan of angst, why choose, close proximity, slow burn check this one out, but only after reading book one, We Are Yours.
This book continues where there first book ended. We are back with Isla, Julius, and Karven. What began as a love triangle slowly emerges into a why choose book. This truly was the best decision because how could she choose between these two men who loved her and she cared about. This trio goes through a lot and figuring a way to stay together and work through their differences was amazing. This book is angsty. I don’t think it’s as angsty as the first book but it’s enough to tug your heartstrings. I enjoyed reading about these three and you definitely need to read the first book first or you will be completely lost.
Listen...I’m just grateful I didn’t have to wait forever for this one because part one of this duet had me completely cut open and bleeding. The writing? Exceptional! The angst? On another level! I cried… a lot. Like, real heart-hurting tears. I was upset, frustrated, emotional...then I had to remind myself of their situation and context… and somehow ended up crying even more. And don’t even get me started on whose team I was on....I was firmly Team Julien… then suddenly I was conflicted… and just there like...sigh. I will say this, I’m happy with how it ended. But wow, this book really takes you through every emotion. Just… read it!!
I’ve had to wait a bit for book two, but it was so worth it. I thought this would be a love triangle after the first book, but Miss Robinson chose a different path, and made it a why-choose romance. I’m not complaining. I’ve been on team Kraven from the first book, but now, I don’t have to anymore. Both Julius and Kraven are in the picture now. All three of them, Kraven, Julius and Isla are growing throughout the book, they’re becoming more mature. And things are not always what they seem to be. In the first book, I believed that Kraven was more closed off, darker, and Julius is the one who has his things in order, but in this book, we learn a new side of them.
I have been waiting to read this story... I needed to know who she will end up with. And the way the first book left off on a cliffhanger. I was so sure who she was going to pick, but in a way glad Monica decided to make this story into a why choose. I never saw that plot twist coming. I was in shock but kind new there would be a plot twist, I really loved Kraven and how he was with her, a times I hated Julius but also loved how he was with her. The ending would have loved a little more but it was good and finally got to know who the baby's father is. I knew it was him all along.
