good story

Cade and Abby absolutely loved each other, however it took a while to figure that out. Cade was a playboy and wealthy, old school money. When he saw Abby at a ball he had to have her. He seduce her even though she was innocent. Though he felt something between them but he treated her like the rest. Left town and never called again. Five years later he realized he a father andAbby never told him.

I almost gave this book 2 stars. This is the first and hopefully this will be the last book this year that I force myself to finish.

Kincaid did Abby wrong the first night they met, but I can’t stand women that keep kids from their dad bc they had their feelings hurt.

I like that Kincaid is genuinely trying to turn his life around and find purpose.

Jill sounds like a hater maybe Andre shouldn’t get with her

Abby really pissing me off. She being a hater because he hurt her feelings way back when. Get over yourself. If she told him she was pregnant and he ignored her for five years and then tried to weasel his way back in then the way she’s behaving would make sense. But she purposely didn’t inform him of something monumental he needed to know and now want to act holy then thou talking about I did this myself, you weren’t around. FOH!!!

And look at this bs she caved like a house oh cards. I was over you and that night my ass.

Jill spazzing out on Andre as if she wasn’t the one to force this relationship. These girls are insufferable

I did not sense the connection between Abby and Cade (more Jill and Andre for that matter). They were better off being coparents bc this instant love and lets get married… though I saw it coming it did not feel it. And of course she is so u sure if this guy she lets him hit with no protection on multiple occasions, proving she learned nothing.

Definitely glad it’s over…

Off the rip Dane is an asshole. Even if I was a dog person, I wouldn’t want mine much less someone else dog licking over my naked body. Maybe that’s some palm color people shit. And he claims he doesn’t want to be mean but she insulted his dog, knowing damn well he was planning to hit it and quit it regardless

Oh she has a boyfriend; Keyra and Dane’s relationship is completely inappropriate

Damn Dane really dogged Keyra. But I don’t feel as bad bc she thought the way he treated other women was acceptable or funny

« Hit & Run »

He was a playboy who could never commit… women came to him easily because he was beyond ‘beautiful ‘, his face was a piece of art and a body to match it, not to mention he was a Tyrell, rich beyond measure. When he met Abigail, she was innocent, beautiful and Kincaid aka Cade has no problem taking her innocence and left without remorse and erased her number, moved on to the next conquest. Five years later, he came face to face with her and the feelings he ignored and ran from was still there in full force, but she was no longer the naive girl who got blinded by a charming handsome man…but people like Cade wasn’t used to No, so he went to her place of business and came face to face with a little girl that is a little miniature of him…

Abby’s hurt run deep… and Cade’s guilt and feelings for Abby and his little girl… wouldn’t let her push him away.

I couldn’t put it down, (I am on vacation in Europe😜)
went to bed at 3 in the morning, because I had to finish it!!

You will love and despise Cade at the same time , I couldn’t help being « team Abby », because that would be me lol

Awesome read !!

2.00 Stars. (BW/WM). Kindle Edition $0.99/339 page ebook.
SETTING: Modern day America?
TROPE: Womanizing male. Virginal adult female. Mother withholding child from father.
MAIN CHARACTERS:
1. KINDAID "CADE" TYRELL, male lead, wealthy, ultra handsome, irresponsible, womanizing male.
2. ABIGAIL "ABBY" BLAKE, female lead, wealthy, ultra attractive, virginal, female working for her family's business.
3. Jillian is Abby's best friend who becomes her sister-in-law.
4. Abby's family members are her parents and twin bother, Andre Blake, an attorney.
5. Cade's family members are his parents, his brother, wife and their child, Kevin, Sarah-Jane and Christopher , his sister, Kat.
6. ZOE and ZACHARY PAUL are Abby and Cade's daughter and son respectively.

The story had to self-indulgent dislikable protagonist and character name mix-ups. Cade is a "much right dick's man"... he is as much right the man of whoever he is having sex with at the time as the woman next in line. Abby is living in the same town as his family and doesn't consider that the guy she supposedly love can be easily contacted and advised that he is going to be a father. Cade reasons that he tells the women up front that he is a player and that his gentiles are the only thing he brings to the table does not mean much and the excuses that Abby had for keeping Zoe a secret didn't add up either. The author tries but fails to fix the personality flaws she gave to Abby and Cade; but by story's end, the reader is presented with Cade and Abby as loyal, loving, considerate and devoted husband and wife and parents.

Beautiful and Fantastic

Now this story is a love song for romance. Because it passes your average love story. It can be your next romantic obsession. I enjoyed the magic of falling in love. Abby is a beautiful very easy to impressed young woman who instantly falls in love with Kincaid who is the essence of love them and leave them playboy. But a few things gives him a wake up call. One is finding out he's been a father for four years. Talk about putting a stamp on your player card. Of course Kincaid is determined to be a daddy but Abby's not having any of that now I want to be a father to my daughter. Plus after being around Abby and Zoe Kincaid realize he loves Abby and that it grows harder to resist her each day. I absolutely devoured this story and totally enjoyed being immersed in Kincaid and Abby's relationship and following Zoe's antics as she enjoy her daddy and his family spoiling of her. This book ended with a lot of threads unraveled, that I didn't want it to end. It made me be excited and impatiently waiting for the another book in the series! I highly recommend

Brought to his knees with love!

Kincaid, the second son of a multi-billionaire family is on the cusp of having his playboy ways curtailed by Abigail a beautiful daughter of a multi-millionaire Black family who became the object of Kincaid 's initial lust and subsequent love. The consequences of their previous one night stand made them parents. Kincaid, left reeling because of his feelings for Abigail and ran away breaking her heart and leaving a part of him too. Finding out what he had unknowingly left behind, Kincaid aggressively pursued Abigail and his mini look a like. Overall, this story of love lost and regained was very heartwarming, fraught with the usual once burned trust issues and finally love that could not be denied. I enjoyed Kincaid and Abigail's story very much. Another beautiful and heartfelt story Katie, thank you.

okay

Interesting concept. I love a secret pregnancy trope. Unfortunately this story felt a bit rushed for me. I am not a big fan of insta love and this book had the main characters professing (later in the book) that they had fallen in love the first night that they met.
The writing was okay but could use some editing in some parts.
It was some times a bit confusing following the story because the author wrote multiple people’s perspectives at the same time.
The constant talk about Cade’s looks and his daughter’s looks was too much. It was unnecessary to keep stressing it. They were likeable characters, I wish more effort was put into character development instead.
All in all I did enjoy the story and the family dynamic

Restoration Romance from unexpected results

A little one night sex resulted in one heated moment leading to one person left with years with careless sex almost resulting in a suicide. Previously, leaving another woman left, emotionally, with the results from years resolving from an unprotected night as a virgin.
Quick reading full of emotions, compassion, forgiveness and love expressed by three couples; mostly, highlighting Caid and Abby’s stormy relationship mutually ending from connective love of a young child.
Unexpected surprises at the end. No explicit words and sex I would rate PG16. Enjoy!

This was okay! The best parts were the bonding between Zoe and her Dad! Abby and Cade were shown as being really human, with conflicting emotions that they attempted to put aside for the sake of their daughter. The focus got sidetracked at times, with the twin brother and other family members! Although, I am glad that happy endings were noted for all the family members brought into the circle around Cade and Abby! Closure is really needed when others and their tribulations are brought into the story narrative!

Kincaid

I enjoyed reading the love story of Kincaid and Abigail. It began as a first sight instant love for them. Unfortunately, Kincaid got scared and ran while Abigail stayed and paid the Consequences. This book contains intrigue, cowardice, drama, hope, dreams, persistence, determination, Faith and allowing love to prevail. I will be recommending this novel to everyone I know!!

in a minute

I’ll admit I skipped forward to get to the good part. It was taking too long to get to the meat of the story. Such a good read but I felt some parts were 😬 unnecessary. I tried to keep reading but, I gave in and moved on but once I did I couldn’t put it down! Couldn’t wait to find out if Cade found out about Zoe and if Abby would gave in to her true feelings for Cade. Enjoyed reading this live story and glad I picked this title.

For The Love of You

So satisfying! There’s just something about a bittersweet second chance romance. Also strong heroines. The book I read before Kincaid irritated my soul because the female lead was weak as water. Abby, however, was vulnerable to Kincaid but guarded her heart ferociously until she realized he truly had changed. Zoe’s character was adorable!

Enjoyed

One of the few billionaire series that doesn’t focus on detailing how fabulous and rich the man is, though it’s mentioned often. Also, I didn’t like how the author kept referring to how beautiful the child was or the father. Not at all disappointed but I could have lived without the repeated reframe of the child and her father’s beauty.

Boring with no plot, action, or remotely interesting chemistry between the lead characters. All the characters were undeveloped and flat. It also needed some editing as character names became confused by the author. I've read much worse so, hence, the three stars when I'm tempted to really give it two stars.

I probably won't be reading books by this author again.

Unsure father

One-night stands usually don't play out like this. It's a story, after all. Abby and Kincaid were complicated people. Kincaid was a player who didn't care about his past until he discovered he had a daughter. Suddenly, everything changed - he wanted to fight and protect his family.

I really enjoyed this book. Any and everything Ms Dowe writes is good reading. Too bad he had to learn his lesson the hard way, but it all came together in the end. Good Times. Get it

Finally

You changed in writing the same plot In your books. Absolutely so much better. Still using rich entitled men, stuffy women but I will say this is a better book. And you actually had a Virgin, goog looking out. Twins great. Triplet why not. This was good to read .

Enjoyed this

This was such a great read, so many women is quick to give it up and thinking the man is serious but he is not. You can even marry someone thinking this is the real deal, but it’s not. With make believe stories you find the in between, this was a great read though.

This book was written well and kept my interest the entire time wondering how it would end. I think the incident in Italy should have been talked about more. All in all a great read.

Typical of this genre

The story is cookie cutter, like hundreds of others. No new ideas or anything to make you smile. Needs expansion in many areas.
