Ronan Pierce and his team are tracking the whereabouts of Lena Hart, a journalist and the woman he loves. He believes that she is still alive and being held by Victor Markov. When he and his Delta Five team learn where she is being held, they make their plans. Markov believes that Ronan will come for her and the trap is set. As Ronan and his team arrive, ready to free her, she was moved. He won’t give up as he soon learns where she has been taken, they are on her trail. They meet an onslaught of enemy fire, but are finally able to free her. Ronan still suffers from the loss of his team from years ago. When he is made aware that his five men have been held in a secure facility, tortured and kept separate from each other they load up prepared to free them. Ronan and his current team plan an assault on the fortress where they are being held. There he comes in contact with Roscov, a tech mastermind who needs to be taken down. Slowly they will attempt to rescue the men, one at a time and bring them home. Once they achieve success, is there now time for he and Lena to move on with their lives and love? Ronan Pierce and Lena Hart need each other but also she is the key to everything.

Held captive by a brutal Syndicate, Lena escapes as Ronan's team attempt a rescue, so then they have to track her across continents.

Lena isn't broken from her captivity, she is scared and overly cautious and escaping with her life. But it's what she is that Ronan needs for his case. They have a mutual connection that makes this romance happen. And that connection is prime and precious.

I really loved these two together. The guys and the team spirit were the best.

A great read. Beautifully planned out. Plot that was exciting and characters I want to know more about. Just amazing! Bring on the next.

This is the first book in the Delta Force Seals series. It’s a military/protector romance. The plot is intriguing, entertaining and gripping. I enjoyed the suspense and danger. A great beginning to a new series.
