Charts & Clues: A Small Town Cozy Murder Mystery

Rate this book
A poisoned pill. A locked clinic. A nurse with nerves of steel—and secrets of her own.

When Isabel Reyes inherits her aunt’s rustic mountain cabin and rundown clinic, the last thing she expects is a murder.

An unsympathetic victim leaves the whole town whispering, and every quirky neighbor becomes a suspect.

Armed with sharp instincts and her loyal (if clumsy) dog, Isabel is drawn into a maze of gossip, red herrings, and one grumpy deputy. But fear and anxiety can’t keep her from sleuthing—because someone is using their prescription pads for something deadly.

With a gossipy crew at her side and her son hacking up leads, Isabel is about to prove that the best medicine is a healthy dose of curiosity.

In Running Springs, murder is just what the doctor never ordered.

Pretty dense, and fast paced, though short story, with Isabel coming back to her home town for taking control over her late aunt; and deeping her down in a whirl of events culminating with a death. All while someone pretended to impersonate her suntbin false recepies.
Funny pair of dogs that Isabel took from some shelter just before leaving her residence.

I didn’t realize who the killers were until the last two chapters
