The Women of Westport Society, a catty group of wealthy housewives, fill their calendars with charity events, fundraisers and business events. The monthly book club is the one social event every member looks forward to. This month, the eighth and final novel in the Crown and Throne series is finally within their grasp. Each of the women have looked forward to this ending for the last eight years. Eight years of buildup is shattered when the group’s queen bee, Reagan, spoils the ending in a fit of anger. This is my first book I’ve read by Fletcher Felix, and I really enjoyed it. I didn’t manage to work out who the killer was, or the twists throughout the story so that was a nice change from some of the recent thrillers I’ve read.
My only real gripe for the book was that I found it confusing to remember which narrative I was following, it would have helped to have the names as a header through the chapters. I kept having to go back to see which point of view I was reading. But, that could just be a ‘me’ problem!
Saying that, I did enjoy the premise of the different points of views. The chapters are short and snappy which makes it a good bingeable read.

A group of housewives and the spoiled ending of a book leads to a housewife killed. Who did it?
Once again Fletcher Felix knocked it out of the park with this one! This book kept me guessing who the killer was going to be. The twists, the turns, great read. The author kept me engaged and interested in knowing more. Highly recommend giving this one a chance!
