There were some grammar/spellings errors at the beginning. FMC is all over the place with her emotional intelligence, there’s a character introduced in the main family dynamic that the author never explains who it is. MMC jumps between saying “my mother” then refers to her as her name, which is not explained you have to make that inference. Not as spicy as described.

Letting Love Conquer Your Fear

This book hit me right in the heart. Alex and Kristy have a history of..a stolen kiss when she was just nineteen . But he let his fear of being like his father push her away, made her believe it meant nothing. Now, years later, she is back. Their attraction is electric, but can she move past her hurt and anger to let him get close? And can he unload the mental burden he carries that he may end up hurting her. Add in the fact that his best friend is her overly protective brother, who knows Alex hurt her years ago and doesn’t want it to happen again .. it makes for a lot of tension, even as their attraction for each other grows. I stayed u late finishing this book. Couldn’t wait to finish it, then wished there was more to read.

You know when a book drags on and could’ve been condensed into a few chapters? This is the opposite. It’s an incredibly short read where things move quickly but it think it would’ve been more beneficial to have some of the tension and reluctance to get together for a few chapters to really feel the turmoil but the overriding desire for each other. It just was like oh let’s have a fake relationship, oh now I want it to be a real one, now I need to think, oh cool let’s me together with a bit of fire and medical drama added in.

The firefighter and the surgeon

The mistaken kiss seven years ago was never a mistake. This was a long time coming and they finally admired it. Its a good read full of a lot of emotional growths.

Wasn't overly long but this had a lot packed in.
Great chemistry between Alex and Kristy.
A few small things bugged me throughout hence the 4 stars but I would definitely recommend
