Short and mildly entertaining in a slightly silly and cosy way. Not that it is a slice-of-life romance, but none of the issues (in this case with an escaped convict, a natural hurricane and a hostile neighbouring country looking for the "saint") pose much of a risk to our tuber throwing heroine and her plant growing competent husband. In other words, much like previous volumes. There is now a kid which give the husband the excuse to be overprotective which is ignored for the most part by the main character and villains to exploit. Still, it is getting a bit of the same for me and as such I am slowly losing much interest. Still, a decent read, not the best, but neither the worst of the villainess stories that seem to be all the rage at the moment.
