This story is beautiful, yet heart wrenching with suspense and secrets.
I feel this book is more erotica than contemporary romance. The majority of the book was then fighting their feelings yet continuously talking about what they would do to each other. Also there was so much sex that I couldn't keep up, although I found it beautiful, in places I found it unwarranted maybe even a bit repetitive and would have liked more story then sex. But when the story does come into play, it was fantastic. Full of secrecy and suspense, you just don't know what's going to happen with the characters.
I'm not sure how I feel about Luke,he's a bit more forceful than your average alpha and I didn't know how to take him. I liked Gracie but she was quite prudish. I believe the characters are who they are in the authors head and they did grow on me. I loved them all by the end of the book.
I'm glad I had the chance to read this, It beautiful, erotic and adrenaline pumping.

This is a beautiful story and one that, at times, will pull at your heart and squeeze it so tight it hurts! I was hooked from the start and couldn't put it down.
Be Mine is full of emotion and the obvious connection between the two main characters is sizzling to say the least. There are a lot of twists and suspense that you don't expect.
Gracie Sinclair is a working single mum who just wants to get on with her life after the death of her husband. When she literally bumps into the gorgeous Luke Bryce, (a self made business man who loves a playboy lifestyle), an instant attraction knocks Luke for six. He decides that Gracie is the one for him and starts his pursue of her. But with secrets in his past and demons about to be faced, will Gracie and Luke's relationship be able to withstand it all?
An absolutely amazing book and I would recommend this to anyone who likes a good mixture of love, sex, passion, betrayal....and the list goes on. Be Mine has it all and very worthy of 5 stars.

I was given Be Mine by Isobelle Cate for an honest review and I just could not put this book down. From the start you Gracie who is trying to be a good mom and put her life back together after everything her deceased husband had put her through. Then you have millionaire playboy Luke that has nothing that satisfies him anymore. From the first moment they run into each other you can feel the sparks fly. Can they both work together to get over their past to have a future together read and find out.

Oh my, what a fabulous story. Gracie is trying to get her life back together after she was hurt by her husband. Luke Bryce is a millionaire playboy with different girl every weekend. Until he meets Gracie. They have their ups and downs. The drama and twists and turns in the story keep you on your toes. I could not put the book down. Fabulous and hot hot hot read.

This books starts off a little slow but when it takes off it takes off with a bang. You have to people who have been hurt and betrayed in the worse way. Both have trust issues as they have build up walls around their heart. As they come together and finally fine happiness working through their issues you would think life would come up roses. In this case you have an ex who will not let go, a father who wants his son, a sister who just wants to get to know her brother. Just as you think you worked out one issue the author throws a twist you do not see coming. Before you know it you are hooked on a page turning read you can't put down.
Gracie is a wonderful sweet lady who just wants a normal life. She runs into a man who knocks the breath right out of her. He then more or less stalks her until she gives him her attention. She fights the pull as the attraction is strong, it isn't long before she finds she is fighting a losing battle.
Luke is a love them and leave them man who never sleeps with the same women twice. He is bored with life and looking for something more. When he runs into Gracie and almost knocks her down all it took was one look into her eyes and he was hooked. There is no way this woman is getting away from him. He follows her home and makes her give him her attention. One thing leads to another as he rocks her world.
This is where things gets interesting as the author puts a little suspense into the read. Things might now be as they seem. People want things and they will take them anyway they can get them. They use people twist things to their way of thinking. Just as the cards look like they might be staked in Luke and Gracie's favor they find the cards are about to fall down all around them. Can love keep them together or will life pull them apart?
This is a very interesting read as the author gives you a wonder story of lose, criminals, heartbreak, starting over and learning to love again. She gives you some very steamy heated love scenes that will burn up the pages and make you blush. For me once this book took off I could not put it down and had to read it at one setting. I love this authors writing style as she gets your blood pumping between your love scenes and her wonderful suspenseful plot. This is one story I would enjoy reading again.

Be Mine is the second book that I have read by author Isobelle Cate. In this story, Luke Bryce is the CEO of Bryce Engineering, so his presence and reputation proceeds him in ways unimaginable. He takes whoever he wants, whenever he wants and most women are smitten with him from one glance. He wouldn’t know what real love was unless it bumped into him, literally. When Gracie Sinclair meets Luke, the connection is instant and mouth-watering. There is only one thing stopping her from going the distance and accepting Luke’s date proposal…her husband. Now a widow, the memory of her husband has corrupted her view of love and happiness to the point where she firmly believes that there will be ‘no coming back’ for her…but Luke is persistent and Gracie has a feeling that he always gets what he wants. Will Gracie give in to his desires and become just another one of his weekenders or could this connection be something deeper?
My favorite character in this novel is Gracie Sinclair. She is strong, defiant, beautiful and determined. Her first priority is her son, Flynn. When Luke appears out of nowhere and makes her lose hold of her armful of folders, she can’t deny the sudden attraction to this mysterious man…however, her determination is unwavering. She doesn’t know who Luke is, nor does she want to be involved in his seduction, knowing that he will throw her out after she gives him what he wants. With the second meeting as financial adviser, the determination is still strong but she starts to feel him breaking down the walls that she has hidden behind ever since her husband’s death. I also had a brief interest in Luke’s sister Felicity which I would love to read more about in another story, if possible.
In my opinion, women are the targeted audience since this story does bridge between romance/erotica and suspense/crime. I really enjoyed the plot; however, felt that the relationship between Luke and Gracie was a little rushed and not proportional to the other parts of the story as far as pace and complexity. I rate Be Mine with four stars because I was intrigued about Luke’s family and the suspenseful part of the plot. It was original and thoroughly enjoyable, especially since I like how the author adheres to detail.

Luke doesn’t do relationships. He never has and he doesn't plan to. He does 'Weekenders', the same woman for one weekend no longer, with the exception of one woman who he was sleeping with for 2 weeks.
After forgetting about the mystery man she bumped into, Gracie is shocked when he turns out to be none other than the owner of one of her newest business clients.
While Grace can't deny the attraction between her and Luke she doesn't want to become just one of his 'weekenders'. She has her own reasons for being wary of men and is keeping a secret from Luke. She vows that she won’t have any sort of relationship with him, no matter how tempting he may be.
However Luke won’t take no for an answer and sets out to woo her.
Brilliant book by a very talented author.
I loved Gracie, although she had a massive unfortunate secret about her past she never let it stop her from achieving what she wanted. I love the relationship she had with her mother, you could practically fell the love between them jumping put the pages!
She didn’t let her previous bad experiences with men stop her from loving again, even when she didn’t want to.
I wasn’t very sure of Luke at first, at the beginning he just seems to be your typical ladies man , who beds someone differently every week, but once he met Gracie you could see he was beginning to change. When he was wooing Gracie he also managed to woo me to liking him. He was brilliant with Flynn and Gracie's mother. I loved the way that he always had Gracie's back even when he wasn’t sure if she wanted him to be.
This was a brilliant book and I would highly recommend it to others.

Be Mine by Isobelle Cate is the first novel I have read by this brilliantly talented writer. Her words create real people and places that pop right off the pages. Be Mine is a novel featuring a woman's loss and her journey in finding love once more. Readers can easily place themselves with-in the leading character's shoes. This contemporary romance is emotionally enticing. Isobelle Cate's has done an impressive job in creating a fictional world that instantly comes to life when one reads it. Readers won't be able to turn the pages fast enough...and when they come to the end...they will be waiting for the next adventure by Isobelle Cate.
Be Mine is a realistic yet highly entertaining world of fiction that will lure readers deeper and deeper into it's juicy plot. Luke Bryan is the CEO of his own company. He has a very successful business and his weekender women. He likes no stings and no commitments. Gracie Sinclair works for an accountant. She is a widow with a four year old son. The firm Gracie is working for is doing work for Luke's company. When Gracie goes in to keep their appointment, Luke can't help but think of Gracie in various ways. Gracie isn't looking for a relationship. Her husband crushed her after his death. Luke wants Gracie and he will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Luke has his own family secrets and they could cost him the women and child he wants. This book contains profanity and sex scenes so it is not for everyone. The story is very good and will hold your interest.

This book by Isobelle Cate is an amazing journey with Gracie, Luke and Flynn. How they find each other, rediscover themselves, the intimacy they find, healing the broken bits of each other from the past, and then the terror, hurt and anguish, in a amazing finale. A novella followup is also available and is Cillas story. This is definitely a highly recommended, quality, emotional read.

Be Mine is a stand alone read by Isobelle Cate. Solid storyline from start to finish. The characters had depth, emotion and lots of chemistry. This was my first book by this author and it was a very good read!!!

Be Mine is a must read.
Beautifully written, the more you read the more you become engrossed within the storyline and struggle to put it down. Written from the main characters Gracie & Luke point of view, occasionally an extra character to help move the story along and gives you more of an insight, especially later on in the book.
Widow Gracie carries a lot on her shoulders, not just physically having balance work and spending time with her son, but the emotional scars that her husband left behind.
Playboy Luke has everything going for him, making his way in the world, self-assured and yet when Gracie literally bumps into him it's like the nothing else matters to him than her.
But Gracie, does not make it easy for him and with a deeper threat waiting around the corner, will the two be able to hold on to one another?
Did I mention the sexy scenes? ;) Very nicely written! 'Mr. Knickers Melting Gorgeous' A.K.A Luke Bryce
Twists and hidden gems to keep you on your toes.

Gracie and Luke's story starts off slow and after you get through the first couple chapters it picks up and hooks you. Gracie is a widow who had a very tough relationship with her husband. Luke comes into her life and he tries to win her over but he is a playboy. Luke does not give up and wins her over at the end. There are twist and turns so be ready to not want to put it down.
Book at first was also hard to read. It is based over seas and to figure out some of the language. I think the contributes to the slow start. Once you get your bearings it is an amazing read. I started it last night and could not put it down. Author has strong writing. Will read more of her stuff.

At first I thought the way Gracie and Luke got so hot and heavy so quickly was a it too much but then I thought you know what if you meet someone so appealing why not! I thought it was great how they slowly opened to each other and how Gracie had her Mum and Noreen there for support, as well as Luke having Terrence. There were some great twist and turns that shock you, as well as surprises you didn't expect that leave you happy and sad.
I can't wait to read more in this series!

So Gracie is a widow who had an awful man for a husband and then there is Luke who is…to put it kindly..a player. But of course that changes when he meets Gracie. The attraction happens pretty quickly, the characters are fantastic, and the story is pretty awesome. Another great Second Chance book written by Isobelle Cate. I can’t think of anything wrong with Be Mine, so it’s of course a five star read for me!

I loved this book! I was never a huge fan of second chance romances but this book sucked me right in. The story follows Luke, rich man around town and Gracie, recent widow. Their paths cross on a night out with friends and continues on into the professional lives. With one look, Gracie has pulled him in and he wants more. Perfect, right? Wrong. Gracie has been hurt in the past and she's scared Luke will leave another scar she won't be able to heal from. Will she give him a chance? Is he good enough to have that place in her life? Will there be a happy ending?

This book was the whole package. It had everything. Luke is every woman’s dream. Hot, handsome, rich and sex on legs. Gracie is a beautiful, sexy widow whose dead husband mentality abused her and her self esteem is very low. Her whole life revolves around her 4 year old son. When these two meet the chemistry is off the charts! There are lots of twist and turns during their story and I highly recommend this book.

This book was amazing, sexy, sad but wonderful. Lol you ask why I say that? Because the author Tells a story of a widowed wife who is just trying to raise her son. Until one night when one accident changed her life. Luke is a strong wealthy CEO of his own company He does not believe in love. In fact he is a play boy him self. This books has alot of sexy romance and some twist in turns. I cant wait to see what book 2 has for this series

I loved this book so much that I couldn't put it down! My poor family had to defend for themselves while I was reading this book as I couldn't put it down. I would recommend it to all my family and friends!

[1.5 stars] did not like the book. i don't like books with more than the hero & heroine's pov, felt it was not required. the book seems to be more focus on lust than love. not continuing the series nor reading other books from this author.

Received a copy for a honest review
Gracie is a widow who had a douche bag for a husband and Luke is a man whore, but that changes for him when they literally run smack into each other and he can't stop thinking about her, though he doesn't know her name or anything and even though she has built a walls around her after her shit marriage, they start to shake after their run in.
It's amazing how fast attraction is for some people!!
The second time they meet, he knows there's something different about her and it makes him want her more even when she tells him no and that she's married. For all of his man whoring ways he's honorable and backs off at that point, still he can't stop thinking about her and he no longer backs off when he finds out she is no longer married. No matter how much she pushes him away, he just keeps pushing back until she lets him in and they find love within each other.
I love how strong he is for her when his past comes back to haunt them and when he thinks she is going to end them because of it, his plan is to let her have space but he's not going to give up on them, thankfully it doesn't come to that though because she knows he was being hurt too.
This story, like the series implies, is all about second chances. Gracie is given a second chance at love and Luke by loving Gracie is given a second chance at having a family.

Sigh, to find love like that. A wonderful sexy love story of two broken souls who find each other. With a pretty dramatic twist at the end. Can't wait to find out what happens in book two!
