Another explanation of the classic text from the NeiJing Ling Shu. This is the major text that acupuncture medicine was written down 2500 years ago. Before that this was all an oral tradition.

Claude Larre and Elisabeth use the Chinese Characters to help us understand what the text is being translated as for better understanding to Westerners. They really bring the text alive.

People interested in Chinese culture and history may find this interesting, but this book is mostly for acupuncturist or people interested in Energy medicine. It's a well done book. It's all about the Heart organ and how it moves Qi and Blood. It houses the Shen and the spirits and the Heart controls the body. If the Heart is calm and tranquil, the Kingdom is also calm and tranquil. Everything is in order. If the Heart is in chaos the body will be in chaos and illness follows. If it continues, death follows.
