I loved how the prose and poetry cover a wide range of themes like love, loss, and individuality. The lyrical voice is also worth highlighting because it pulls readers into the writer's world through personal reflections. This is the kind of book I read after finishing a long one—when I just want something light where I can reflect on life and everything. Definitely recommended to fellow poetry enthusiasts out there.

Here’s one of my favorite lines:
“After all, life’s richness lies in the moments we create each day.”

didn’t expect this collection to feel so personal, but it really did. Notes from Within and Without reads like quiet conversations you have with yourself at 2 a.m.—about love, faith, loss, and the kind of questions that don’t always have clear answers.

Some pieces felt especially intimate, like I was underlining lines that put my own emotions into words. I liked how it wasn’t overly dramatic; it was reflective and honest. You can feel that these thoughts came from real experiences.

It’s a gentle, thoughtful debut that made me pause a few times just to sit with what I read.
