Legacy of Leather and Lace

Rate this book
Beth grew up in the morally gray world of the Hell’s Handlers Motorcycle Club. Daughter of a legacy, surrounded by overprotective alpha bikers and fierce women who never backed down, she’s spent her whole life trying to prove she’s more than an MC princess. Smart, stubborn, and desperate to carve out her own identity, she left home determined to stand on her own. But independence comes at a price, and by the time she admits needing her family isn’t weakness, she’s trapped in a nightmare relationship that shatters her confidence and breaks something deep inside.

Saint knows what true darkness looks like. Raised in a militant cult, he learned early how to protect the vulnerable and fight with everything he has for the people he loves. As the second oldest of many siblings, responsibility is etched into his bones. So when he finds Beth in danger, he doesn’t hesitate; he pulls her out and becomes the one steady place in her crumbling world. And somewhere between watching over her and trying to keep his distance, the attraction he swore he’d never feel ignites.

She’s younger. She’s his president’s daughter. She already left the club once.
Wanting her isn’t just reckless, it’s dangerous.

As one of her father’s men, Saint is off-limits. Crossing that line could cost him everything, including the family he’s chosen. Beth refuses to be the reason Saint loses the brotherhood that saved him. But some connections are too strong to deny, and some temptations refuse to be ignored.

When enemies surface with Beth in their crosshairs, the biker who promised to stay away becomes the only man capable of burning the world down to keep her safe. And Beth, tired of being protected, tired of being told who she can be and who she can love, finally chooses her own life and her own man.

Really enjoyed it!

Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐1\2

I really enjoyed this long awaited, next gen series by Lilly Atlas. The book easily stands on its own, but has just enough nostalgia from the old characters sprinkled in to satisfy long-time fans. Tons of action with a well moving story line that slowed only in a couple of spots. I'm hoping that our villainess in this story gets a redemption arc in her own story. Regardless, I can't wait to see what's next!

What an awesome return to The Hell's Handlers MC and a new series featuring the 2nd gen.
This is Lee and Beth all grown up and trying to live their best lives. Beth trying hard to not be reliant on the men of the MC which leads to trouble and Lee (Saint) wanting to live up to everything that is good about the club.
A fantastic start to this series with so much drama and angstiness that just pulls you in.

Lilly Atlas’ *Legacy of Leather and Lace* (Hell's Handlers Motorcycle Club Second Generation Book 1) is a romance about Beth, the princess of the Hell’s Handlers MC and daughter of the club’s president, and Saint, the enforcer-in-training. With his older sister’s help, Saint and their siblings escaped a dangerous and cruel cult to become an MC prospect and gain the trust and recognition of the Hell's Handlers as an enforcer-in-training. Known for his protectiveness and club loyalty, Saint was sent to check on Beth after she stopped responding to her family’s attempts to reach her. In reality, Beth was trapped in a nightmare abusive relationship she hadn’t found a way to escape. When Saint arrives at her apartment, he finds Beth hurt by her boyfriend of three years and quickly intervenes to protect her from further harm. He helps her pack some clothes, and they head back home. Spending two nights on the road, a magnetic pull develops between them. Although they try to ignore the attraction and move on with their lives, their paths keep crossing due to the same MC social circle. Beth’s father has decreed that no MC members are to ever touch her, while outside threats from a rogue MC seeking a piece of the HH’s territory are things that threaten to pull them apart. Despite these barriers, they decide to take a risk and see how they truly feel, forging ahead as they face the challenges before them. This is their story—a romance crafted by Lilly Atlas that brings back glimpses of old friends from previous books and opens the imagination to the new generation of the MC family coming in future stories.

Wow wow wow! Didn’t realise how much I missed the original Hells Handlers, it was so good to be back in Tennessee! Anyone who knows me, knows Copper is my man, I have all the Hells handlers books lined up on my bookcase, and Copper is front & centre.

This is book 1 of the next generation, Beth (Copper & Shell’s daughter) and Saint (McKenna’s brother/brother in law to Thunder) the author does enough for you to jump right in, backstories from Copper & Thunder are covered, and at the end of the day this is Beth & Saint’s love story.

…..and what a roller coaster of a story it was, Beth breaks away from the MC world, she wants the independence and to make her own way in life, but life isn’t always fair as Beth finds out (Trigger Warning - domestic abuse, and I hate to say this but it’s written so well that it brought me to tears, very hard hitting scenes)

Saint has been sent to check on Beth as she hasn’t been contacting her family, what he finds is truly heartbreaking, he brings her home, back to her family, but he’s struggling with an MC code that must not be broken, Beth is a MC princess, his presidents daughter, Copper has made it clear no club brothers are to date his daughter, lines are crossed, Saint could lose his only family, but he could also lose everything that matters.

Beth & Saint burn the pages together, trouble is round the corner, not only from Copper, but enemies to the hells handler’s are closing in.

I ADORED this story, the romance was intense and sensual, the banter flowed nicely (I’m intrigued about Gator) new characters are introduced, old characters bring the warmth, Highly highlyyyyyy recommend.

Now off to buy the paperback for my collection 😍

Omg where do I start. First I want to say a huge thank you to Enticing Journey Book Promotions and Lilly Atlas for the ARC of Legacy of Leather and Lace!

I’ve been a part of the Hell Handlers journey since day 1. The found family I developed with these characters will always hold a special in my heart. Being able to read these book and see and spend time with these characters again was so special. I loved every second of time I had with them from Zach to Screw. I loved it all.

I will say that I wish I got to see more of the other characters like Jigsaw and Izzy (my favourites), even though they were mentioned a lot. I also wish we got more of Beth and Saints siblings, but again that’s just me wanting to see more of other characters I love so much.

Now onto Beth and Saint!! Where do I begin. The chemistry between these two had my pages turning so fast I could barely keep up. I absolutely loved them both together and on their own. Beth was such a strong female lead, who despite growing up with the perfect family, knew what it was like to suffer and go through things that no women should. And Saint had his own trauma that he felt made him less than. Together these two fit perfectly and helped each other accept their pasts in the best way. I absolutely loved their relationship.

All in all this book made me feel every emotion under the sun, from nostalgia to excitement to anticipation.

I cannot wait for the rest of these books in this series!! I need more of these characters and this family. They mean everything to me.

What a fantastic start to a new series! Beth and Saint completely stole my heart. Their connection felt genuine, emotional, and beautifully developed, making them such an easy couple to root for from the very beginning.

One thing I really appreciated was how well the author wove in background details. Even if you haven’t read the original series, you won’t feel lost—everything is explained in a way that feels natural, and you quickly understand how everyone fits together.

Beth’s journey really hit me. Wanting independence from the MC life, she steps away to build something for herself, only to be reminded that life doesn’t always go as planned. When Saint is sent to check on her, what he finds is heartbreaking—a far cry from the vibrant girl he once knew. Watching her slowly come back to herself, with Saint by her side, was incredibly moving.

Saint is such a compelling character. Torn between his loyalty to the Hell’s Handlers and the growing love he feels for Beth, his internal struggle adds so much depth to the story. The stakes feel real—being with Beth could cost him everything, but walking away could cost him his heart.

The emotional payoff was so well done. By the time everything came to a head, I was completely invested—and yes, definitely tearing up. Beth and Saint might just be my new favorite couple.

An emotional, heartfelt, and addictive read—I can’t wait to see where this series goes next!

Let me start off by saying that Copper’s book was one of my absolute favorites in the Hell’s Handlers series so when I heard that Beth was getting her own book, I literally jumped for joy
Lilly Atlas writes the most characters. They have so much depth, and she absolutely did not disappoint with the beginning of this second generation series.
That is all grown up and moved away from home to start a new life however, it wasn’t the life she had planned. I think she lost herself a little bit and allowed fear and shame from letting her reach out to her family to come back home.
But as always fate has a way of stepping in and putting someone in your path just when you need them.
Enter Lee a.k.a. Saint, a member of the Hells Handlers to come to her rescue and convince her to come back home.
And so their story begins. These two had a connection that you could feel down to your bones. That was such a strong character, and I think it took Saint to remind her of who she was deep inside.
I don’t wanna give anything else away, but trust me I couldn’t put this book down from the very first page I was immersed in their story. Saint has his own skeletons and together I feel they healed each other.
This was definitely a five star read for me. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

I am so excited about this new series from Ms. Atlas. It’s the 2nd generation of her fabulous Hell’s Handlers MC. Even more exciting is this first book in the series is about Beth, the Prez’s daughter/Club Princess. Having grown up being protected and sheltered, Beth wants nothing more than to move out and stand on her own two feet. But she soon learns that life away from the club isn’t as great as she thought it would be. In fact she finds herself in a relationship that is nothing like what she grew up around, it’s harsh, abusive and a total nightmare she can’t seem to get out of and it’s getting worse day by day. That is until Saint, a club brother, finds her and brings her home. Saint becomes her shelter in the storm. But they both know she’s off limits to him. But the more she relies on him, the closer they become. Will this spell disaster for Saint and/or Beth?

This is an outstanding start to the 2nd Generation and this reader can’t wait for more. While you don’t have to have read the original series to enjoy this one, if you like MC romances I highly recommend it as well.

~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~
I was totally blown away by this story. I have to start off by saying that I love this MC family and Lilly Atlas is an amazing author who knows how to weave a story around her reader and pull them in. This story is about Beth the daughter of Chelle and Copper, she goes out on her own and doesn't find the world quite so nice, but is too ashamed and scared to break free. Lee "Saint" is the enforcer in training and he goes to check on Beth and the sparks fly in more than one way. I fell in love with him so much and the way he is such a protector of his family. This story has everything that I could want: drama, heat, comedy, MC antics, alpha males, strong women, jealousy, revenge and most of all family love. What a way to continue with the second generation, so strong and resilient. I can't wait for more from this series and author. Highly recommended.
HHMC 2nd generation 😍
Thank you to Lilly Atlas for writing this book which was incredible to read. I missed reading about the TN chapter. This story is about Saint who will become the next enforcer for the HH and Beth who is the club princess and who is the daughter of Copper & Shell. Beth parents are worried about Beth bc she has not talked to her mom that last 3 times she called. Saint volunteers to go to TX to check on her. Beth has been in abuse relationship for 2 yrs and believes she would disappoint them. When Saint arrives to her apartment he hears & knows something is wrong and breaks down the door, He find Beth being abused and beats the shit out of her boyfriend. Saint & Beth go back to TN and agree to say nothing until she is ready to tell her parents. The HH have another club come into their town and start trouble. See what happens when you club deals with the brewing trouble.
I love second gen stories! The fact that we got to see the parents and the struggle to their happy ever after, and now getting to watch the kids and stay in that world, it's like the cherry on top of the sundae. Everyone one knows you don't mess with the princess; one of those unspoken rules, but one that is broken very often. Saint already had a spark for Beth, after being sent out to check on her in Texas and dealing with all that, the spark turned into an inferno, but he is determined to stay away. But Beth doesn't make it easy as she has the same feeling. Will Saint risk his found family for Beth?
Beth and Saint are giving us all the feels!! Right from the start a reader is hooked, and this story didn't let go until the last page. Filled with everything an MC book needs to make it great, the drama, danger, the whole taboo of falling for the princess, and naughty bits that were on fire. I really enjoyed this story and give it 5 stars.
This is the first in this 2nd generation series, and this is Beth and Saint’s story.
Beth is independent and stubborn, and she is the daughter of the President, who grew up surrounded by overprotective bikers, and Saint is an enforcer in training. When Beth leaves to carve her own path in life, she ends up in a nightmare relationship, and when Saint is checking on her, he pulls her out of danger and is determined to keep her safe and protected.
This is a well written action packed, emotional roller coaster, with found family, friendships, danger, intrigue, tension, resilience, forced proximity, touch her and die vibes, humour, witty banter, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, and unpredictable, addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
When I heard there was going to be a new series about the Hell's Handlers MC, I immediately added it to my TBR list.
What I liked:
• Saint and Beth all grown up and the older members being part of the story as well
• Saint being aware of his issues due to his past but not letting them define him
• Beth coming into her own strength and personality
• No 3rd act break-up
Overall, I rate it 4⭐out of 5 which means I enjoyed this, had a great time reading it, and recommend it. I'm likely to read this again, especially if it is part of a favorite series, and am looking forward to reading more books by this author in the future.
I was provided an early copy of this book; however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Really enjoyed this story!!!
Beth and Saint's love story begins when Copper and Shell are worried about Beth not staying on touch. Copper send Saint to go check on her and hopefully bring her home.
He finds her abused by her boyfriend and they ride home together. Saint has always liked Beth but she's the club princess so hands off.
Well that turns impossible for both. They fall in love and they try to hide their affection from the club but of course Copper finds out. Saint is the club enforcer and ends up out of the club but Beth is important to him. Copper comes to his senses eventually after Beth gets kidnapped. So well written I couldn't put it down. I highly recommend it.
I really loved Beth and Saint. Coming from horrible situations, they found ways to love and trust with their family and chosen family. Beth bounced back for the most part from her boyfriend with the help of Saint and found strength once she was back with the MC and family. He, in turn, went against his loyalty to the MC to be with her and followed his heart. There was plenty of heat between these two, and danger came after them. As the ending of the book neared, I had a couple questions, but they were answered by the last page. A wonderful story of survival and love and well worth the read.
I received a copy through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.
Club Princess Beth spread her wings and moved to Texas, but things have turned sour and she hides it from her family. Enforcer in training, Saint is sent to investigate and he brings Beth back home. Sparks ignite with this pair, but she is club Prez Coppers daughter and strictly off limits.
A fantastic start to this second generation Hells Handlers MC series, angst, drama, tension, trauma, OW interference, a rival club bringing danger to town and some unfinished business for the next book, that can’t come quickly enough. 5 *
Well I loved the first generation of this series and now we are getting the second generation. Definitely not a disappointment and I am so much looking forward to the next book! Beth is trying hard to stand on her own, but it’s not going to great. Lee is trying to be the best he can be in the club. Can Lee talk her into coming back to the people who love and will protect her? This book is full of so much that you won’t want to put it down. I don’t want to give anything away but you definitely want to grab this book
DNF @15%. Just wasn’t feeling this one. Beth, Copper’s daughter, is in a relationship with a guy who verbally and physically abuses her. I get wanting to be independent and move away from home, but she’s an MC princess who has an entire club of outlaws behind her - with one text, one phone call, they would have gotten her out of that situation. She said she felt humiliated because she let it happen to her and didn’t want them to know. So what, she was just going to let it escalate until her bf did some major damage? It just didn’t make any sense.
A massive thank you to Enticing Journey Book Promotions and Lilly Atlas for the ARC of Legacy of Leather and Lace!
I’ve loved the Hell’s Handlers MC family for years and to get a next generation has been such a pleasure! The first book in the second generation series follows Beth, the daughter of Copper and Shell.
She’s branched out on her own, away from the Hell’s Handlers MC. The problem is she finds herself in a situation she never thought she’d be in. She finds herself ashamed of her situation and afraid to break free.
Saint (Lee) is the enforcer in training for the HHMC and is sent to check on Beth after she’s missed a few scheduled phone calls with her mom. Saint is prepared to do what is asked of him by his president, but does not expect to walk into what he does.
Beth has always had a crush on Saint, but kept it to herself. After Saint rescues her and they spend more time together, those feelings come back. Saint on the other hand tries to hold back because he knows how Copper will react to his baby girl being in a relationship with one of his men.
Sparks flew between the two of them in more ways than one. Lilly Atlas is able to fill the story with drama, heat, comedy, MC antics, alpha males, and family love. This was a perfect introduction to the second generation and I cannot wait for more.
Great to be back with the handlers
I don't feel old enough to be reading a 2nd generation of the hells handlers! But in Lily's more than capable hands it's no shock this is fabulous. Peaks of the original characters we fell in love with, without them taking over the story. Two strong main characters and an introduction to some lovely new characters we are sure to fall in love with .
I absolutely love this book!! It astrology you in from the very beginning and just keep your interest to the very last page. I couldn’t wait for Saints story. It did not disappoint him, and Beth had a lot to overcome, but they were perfect for each other. I highly recommend this book.
Wow. What a story. I couldn't put it down once I started.
I loved Saint and Beth together, they had instant attraction even though they met again under some horrible circumstances. They tried to not give into attraction because of the rules, but it was inevitable.
I can't recommend this book enough.
How Beth goes from broken to strong really hits, and Saint is the ultimate protective hero.
