I broke up with one brother. Now I’m engaged to another.
After a decade with Archer Bradley, it’s over for good. Now I’m trying to piece my life back together.
My first brilliant idea? Crash with my closest friend. The one who always has my back. My ex’s older brother, Ford.
Living with Ford was supposed to be temporary. Instead, it’s late-night talks and lingering looks. The way he watches me when he thinks I’m not looking makes my stomach flip. The way he supports my dreams makes me ache for things I shouldn’t want.
One snap decision spirals into a viral fake engagement, and suddenly I’m planning a wedding to my ex’s brother.
I came here to get over one brother, but I’m starting to think I’m falling for the other. If we go through with this, we could tear the Bradley family apart. But walking away might cost me the one man I can’t imagine losing.

Ohhhhhhh Ford Bradley 😍😍♥️ to be honest my heart kinda has a small ache for all of them. I feel bad for Archer but in a way, he kinda stole this from Ford to begin with. He has always loved her and Archer/the WHOLE family knew it.. even hers. I love the way Ford and Tatum develop their relationship and the turns of events that brought them closer and eventually stronger as a whole. Although things made Tatum question herself, she also found herself and learned to work through things. I am really hoping Archer’s story is next, because I want him to have his happy ending, but know for sure that Tatum was not it. I have high hopes and know how hard it can be to lose a first love… but knowing there is a greater one out there is even more empowering♥️ loved this story as well as Ford and Tatum!! Devoured this book in 1 day!😍♥️ 5 stars!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) Spice-meter: 🌶️🌶️☆☆☆ (2/5) Audiobook: 🎧 Dual Series: The Bradley Legacy, Book 4 (interconnected standalone) HEA: Yes
Snap Decision is an emotional, tension-filled romance that dives straight into complicated territory: family loyalty, lingering feelings, and a fake engagement that suddenly feels a little too real. Lisa Suzanne blends friends-to-lovers warmth with messy family dynamics, creating a story where love isn’t simple and the stakes feel very personal.
Even though this is the fourth book in The Bradley Legacy series, it works perfectly as an interconnected standalone while still rewarding readers who have followed the Bradley siblings from the beginning.
The Story
After ten years together, the heroine’s relationship with Archer Bradley is officially over. Walking away from that history is messy enough, but rebuilding her life afterward feels even harder.
Her temporary solution? Stay with someone she trusts.
Ford Bradley, Archer’s older brother and one of her closest friends.
Ford has always been steady, supportive, and quietly present in her life. Living under the same roof was supposed to be a short-term arrangement while she figured things out. Instead, it turns into late-night conversations, quiet comfort, and a growing tension neither of them is prepared for.
Ford has always had her back, but the way he looks at her now makes it clear something has shifted.
When one impulsive moment spirals their already complicated situation it explodes into something much bigger. Suddenly they’re pretending to plan a wedding while trying to ignore the very real feelings developing between them.
But falling for your ex’s brother doesn’t come without consequences, especially when it could tear apart an already tight-knit family.
The story balances romantic tension with emotional complexity, showing how loyalty, guilt, and long-hidden feelings collide when two people finally start seeing each other differently.
🎧 Narration
Performed in dual narration by Tim Paige and Lucy Rivers.
Lucy Rivers is fantastic, as always. She brings emotional warmth and vulnerability to the heroine, making her internal struggle feel genuine and relatable.
Tim Paige more than holds his own alongside her, giving Ford a grounded, protective presence that fits the character perfectly. His calm delivery adds depth to Ford’s quiet loyalty and growing determination.
Together they create a smooth, engaging listening experience that captures both the emotional tension and the softer romantic moments.
What I Loved
✔️ Brother’s ex romance with real emotional stakes ✔️ Fake engagement that spirals into something real ✔️ Friends-to-lovers development ✔️ Family dynamics that feel authentic ✔️ A supportive, quietly devoted MMC
One of my favorite parts of the book was seeing all the Bradley siblings together again. When all seven of them reunite at their childhood home, the chaos, teasing, and familiar rhythms feel incredibly realistic. The way adult siblings slip right back into their old dynamics was spot on and added a lot of charm to the story.

Final Thoughts
Snap Decision is messy in the best way full of complicated emotions, long-held feelings, and the kind of romantic tension that comes from knowing a relationship could change everything.
It delivers a heartfelt romance while continuing to expand the Bradley family story, and it definitely left me excited to see where the series goes next.
This novel centers on three people whose lives have been intertwined since high school: Tatum, and the two brothers who love her; Ford and Archer. What begins as a familiar love-triangle premise quickly becomes a layered story about timing, loyalty, ambition, and the complicated way love evolves over years.
Tatum’s history with the brothers is the emotional backbone of the story. In high school, she shares a brief but meaningful kiss with Ford, the older, steady brother. But life pulls him away to college, leaving space for Tatum and Archer to grow closer. What follows is a decade-long, on-again, off-again relationship between Tatum and Archer—passionate but unstable. Despite their connection, whenever Tatum needs grounding, she turns to Ford. That quiet emotional reliance becomes one of the book’s most compelling tensions: the person she loves versus the person she trusts.
When Tatum finally decides her relationship with Archer is over for good, she asks Ford if she can stay with him. His agreement sets the stage for blurred lines and unresolved feelings finally coming to the surface. The shift from friendship to something deeper feels both inevitable and risky, especially given the family ties involved.
The story expands beyond romance when Tatum and Ford go into business together, planning to buy a historic mansion and transform it into a wedding venue. The seller proposes an unusual condition: if they host their own wedding there first, they’ll receive their full capital back from the sale. It’s a bold, romantic gamble, and the idea of a “trial wedding” cleverly mirrors the emotional risks the characters are already taking.
Conflict escalates when Tatum hopes to invest in another mansion owned by Ford and Archer’s family. Lacking the funds, she expects Ford to believe in her vision, but instead he accepts an offer from another buyer and keeps the decision from her. When Tatum discovers the truth, it cuts deeper than a business disagreement. To her, it proves Ford doesn’t truly believe in her or in what they’re building together. Feeling betrayed, she walks away.
In a twist that highlights the brothers’ complex bond, Tatum seeks comfort at Archer’s house—but only as a friend. Archer’s reaction is one of the novel’s most mature and surprising moments. Rather than rekindling their past, he immediately calls Ford and tells him to fix things. It’s a powerful acknowledgment that, despite everything, Ford is the one she truly belongs with.
Ford’s response is to cancel the sale, fight for Tatum, and ultimately gift her half of the family mansion as their second wedding venue investment. This response serves as both a romantic grand gesture and a meaningful act of trust. Instead of simply apologizing, he proves he believes in her dream.
Overall, the novel blends romance and personal ambition in a satisfying way. The love triangle never feels cheap because it’s rooted in years of shared history, and each character shows real growth; especially Archer, whose willingness to step aside adds emotional depth to the story. Themes of trust, timing, and partnership run throughout, making the ending feel earned rather than convenient.
For readers who enjoy second-chance romance, complicated family dynamics, and stories where love and business collide, this book delivers an engaging mix of heartfelt drama and hopeful resolution.

Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐.25
Snap Decision by Lisa Suzanne is book four in The Bradley Legacy series and delivers an emotional, complicated romance filled with tension, loyalty, and unexpected love. With a mix of fake engagement drama, family conflict, and years of unspoken feelings, this story explores what happens when the person who has always been there suddenly becomes impossible to ignore.
After ending her decade long relationship with Archer Bradley, Tatum Barker is trying to figure out who she is without the life she once planned. Seeking a place to regroup, she turns to the one person who has always supported her without judgment, Ford Bradley, Archer’s older brother. What starts as a temporary living arrangement quickly becomes something far more complicated.
Ford has always been steady, protective, and quietly present in her life, but sharing space with him changes everything. Late night conversations, small moments of care, and the way he believes in her dreams slowly blur the lines between friendship and something deeper. The chemistry between them builds in a way that feels natural yet emotionally charged because of the complicated family dynamic surrounding them.
A snap decision that leads to a fake engagement quickly spirals into something far more real than either of them planned. What follows is a story full of tension, longing, and difficult choices as they try to balance their growing feelings with the risk of destroying the Bradley family.
Lisa Suzanne does a wonderful job capturing the emotional weight of falling for someone you should not want. Ford stands out as a supportive and patient hero who has clearly cared for her for far longer than he has allowed himself to admit. His quiet strength and unwavering belief in her make their connection feel genuine and heartfelt.
Snap Decision blends fake engagement, brother’s ex romance, and forced proximity into a story that is both emotionally layered and deeply romantic. The stakes feel real as family loyalty, past heartbreak, and new love collide.
This installment adds even more depth to The Bradley Legacy series and will especially appeal to readers who enjoy emotional tension, complicated family dynamics, and a hero who has been quietly waiting for his chance at love.
Oh, my my where to start? Well, we all knew that this was gonna be messy! I mean, come on. How could it not! You have your main male character ( Ford) who has been pining and in love with your main female character (Tatum) for a decade or longer problem is for that entire time she has belonged to someone else and not just to anyone else but to his kid brother (Archer) like I said, messy, messy, messy. But oh so good lol. You know anything great and worth having in life will not come easy. You will have to fight for it. So that you appreciate it that much more. And I feel like that's what happened with these characters. One has known all along how they felt. And the other one basically gets smacked in the face with it, realizing that they felt it the whole time and has to come to terms with that. There was a point towards the end of the book where I wanted to reach in and smack and shake one of the characters lol sorry without giving much away, it had to be said lol. I love the way Lisa writes her books because they make us feel all these emotions. We feel like we're right there with her characters that she's created that we're living what's happening. So we're going on this emotional rollercoaster with them and only your greatest authors can do that. And Lisa is definitely one of those authors. I cannot wait to see what's in store for Archer. I feel like there's so much we're missing with him. Because he's so mysterious and closed off from all of his siblings. It's plain to see in this book that Ford and Tatum were definitely made for each other. You can't help but to root for them from the beginning and all through the book. Even if your heart's breaking at the same time for Archer. But like so many of her other books, where the dads are POS I cannot wait for Mr. Bradley to get what's coming to him. I think that it is going to be the best thing for the children all the way around. Because the damage that he's done already Is so bad. He's so shady. I don't know what he's up to now, but I know it's something, and I know it's going to be his children, that get caught in the crosshairs of his bad doings. So we have Archer's book up next and then either Liam or Ivy's she hasn't said yet. So happy reading everyone and again. Lisa, thank you so much for letting us have a peek into your great imagination and into the world that you've created.
This was a great listen from Lisa Suzanne. And another Bradley to finally get his girl. Ford Bradley has been in love with his brothers girlfriend ever since the day he met her,Tatum has his heart in her hands and she has no idea. They are really good friends and Tatum always turns to Ford whenever she needs a helping hand. Tatum is a wedding planner and was in a relationship with Archer Bradley on and off for 10 years, but now it was over for good. They are broken up permanently they weren't happy and the first person she goes to is Ford. Tatum is single for the first time, she is staying under the same roof as Ford..what could possibly go wrong.!? Tatum starts to see Ford differently not just as her friend but as someone who cares about her,who sees her, listens to her and who loves her. Ford is a good man but he does have his insecurities and even has moments of doubt about Tatum and their connection...Is she using his status as a football player to help her expand her buisness.? And when they become intimate and try a romantic relationship he is afraid she will go back to his brother.I did like Ford I mean he has the patience of a saint waiting 10 years in hope of a chance with Tatum,he is supportive of her dreams and Hot in and out of bed. Tatum I wasn't so sure about I liked her sometimes and didn't like her at other times..I Found her a bit childish at times as she seems to run and have a tantrum if she doesn't get what she wants. Their relationship is a complicated one because Archer is a threat looming as he wants Tatum too,and there are some awkward situations. Along with the romance between Ford and Tatum the ongoing storyline about The Bradley's Dad continues to play out..He is still being investigated for various crimes. Narration is wonderful by Tim Paige and Lucy Rivers they are able to embody the right emotions and personality for Ford and Tatum..They were both so easy to listen to and I enjoyed their performance. Snap Decision is a fabulous story from Lisa Suzanne her writing is as captivating as ever before, she always writes intriguing, romantic, spicy and emotional stories. I loved listening to it. 41/2 Stars..
Pinning for younger Brother's Ex... check Family Drama... check Spicy... check Relationship ups and downs... check, check unputdownable... check HEA... check, check, and check Lisa Suzanne is an amazing sports romance writer. I have enjoyed every one of her books so far. When I first read the synopsis for this particular book from her Bradlee Brothers series, I was on the fence. I am not a big fan of books whose story deal with dating an ex of one's brother, like Tatum and Asher who dated and lived with one another for over a decade. This one however, was a bit different than I expect, but in a good way. Ford has always secretly pined for his brother's girl, but he did not interfere with their relationship. Ford was the only person Tatum could turn to when she had issues with Asher. They were happy together until they weren't. The issues surrounding Tatum and Asher dealt with Asher's dad who wreaked havoc whenever he was around his sons and daughter. Ford and Tatum getting together did not come easy and they faced a whole lot of challenges. Tatum's guilt about what went down with her and Asher to Ford's insecurities thinking that Tatum was using him for his family's name made the relationship complicated. It's funny how Tatum reached out to Asher when she hit a major snag with Ford and Asher reached to tell Ford to fix it!! That is truly brotherly love and shows that Asher is truly a great guy. Asher's support of Ford's relationship made me like him even more because he put his feelings to the side for those he loved. I am glad that their dad is finally getting what he deserves, but I feel sad and hurt for their family. Like all her other books, this is one is also one of my favorites, but I say that all the time because they are all great reads. The drama, family issues, and relationship issues are about as real as they get. I loved the ending and the epilogue was hot!! I cannot wait to read Asher's story next as he finally deserves his true happily ever after.
I’m really enjoying the Bradley Legacy series. Ford has loved Tatum since high school. They shared a moment 12 years ago but neither spoke about it. She ends up with his brother, Archer, so he feels he’s lost his chance and settles for being her friend. She always goes to Ford, as a friend would, so when her and Archer breakup this time she of course goes to Ford.
They become closer as she shares her dreams for her wedding planning business. She sees an opportunity to make the Bradley mansion a wedding venue as Ford wants to sell it because of his father’s impending court and subsequent jail time. The Bradley children don’t have a relationship with their parents and Ford sees this as a way to start new for everyone, but not all see it that way.
While in Tampa, Fords home base, they stumble across a wedding venue for sale. They go into it together. The seller has a proposition for them, if they marry by a certain time, they can have the money back that they paid for it. After they officially get engaged tragedy strikes the Bradley family. This is where everyone finds out about the upcoming wedding and this includes Archer, Tatum ex and Fords brother. Everyone also finds out Ford is selling the their childhood home.
At Ford and Tatum’s wedding an unexpected guest shows up. This came as a shock to me. These two get married but of course, it’s never easy. Ford learns of news on the mansion and keeps it from Tatum. She decides she needs space to figure things out since she feels Ford isn’t supportive in her business endeavors and Ford, like most ‘celebrities’, feel like people use him for his money and status. There’s space given but Tatum upset me a bit when she was back in Vegas. Ford sees things better after talking with a friend and a family member. He goes to Vegas to get his wife back.
Ford is mild mannered and was willing to spend his life without the one person he loved. And boy could he be spicy! Tatum, I felt like, was just kind of settling. She knew exactly what she wanted to do business wise but was stuck in her on and off again relationship with Archer. I felt for Archer but I’m excited for his book next.
This was an angsty, fun, flirty, heat fueled, emotionally charged journey. One of belief, hope, healing and emotional growth. It's about pushing limits. Sacrifice. Taking chances. Acceptance and ultimately, forgiveness. Two complete opposites finding love when they least expect it. You'll be screaming for more as these two fumble their way to forever.
Imagine being secretly in love with your best friend for YEARS but too afraid to show it.... after all, loving your best friend is easy. Being IN LOVE with your best friend is a whole different ballgame, especially when she's not meant to be yours. This is Ford's truth and a painful secret he's kept hidden for years.
Ford Bradley. Tight End for the Tampa Bay Beasts. Endearingly sweet and all shades of charming, this sinfully delicious man will have you swooning every chance he gets just by being himself. He's practical and precise, always thinking with his head and not his heart, except when it comes to her... For her, he'll do anything, even if it means breaking his own heart.
Tatum Barker. Wedding Planner and his younger brother's girl. Until she isn't... Sassy and sweet with a side of bratty selfishness, she's chaos and big dreams. Not knowing how Ford truly feels about her, she blows into his life like a whirlwind, hoping time with her best friend will heal her wounded heart. What she doesn't realize is that she's about to find so much more...
The denial. The longing. The push & pull. Their intense heat & chemistry is off the charts hot, building towards an explosion so worth the wait. He is the calm to her ever brewing storms, and like moths to a flame, these two will always find themselves drawn together. They were made for one another and while their road to forever isn't perfect, it's worth every misstep along the way. Every heartache. Every mistake.
The Bradley "Legacy" strikes again...yet which legacy will he choose? A family so utterly broken, your heart will absolutely ache for them all. If only they can find their way back together once more...
This was a cute read! It's book four in the Bradley Legacy series--though full disclosure I have not read any of the other book in this series, and this definitely worked as a standalone. Definitely some fun tropes in this one — brother's ex, friends to lovers, fake engagement that spirals WAY out of control. 💍 (Idk why but I've been loving the whole fake dating thing lately...)
Ford Bradley is has been pining for the same girl over the past decade--the only problem is--she's his brother's very-recent ex, and also one of his best friends. Lots could go wrong if he were to get involved, and he's rightfully hesitant to make a move. Tatum Barker feels close to Ford in a way that is inexplicable even for her--when she finds herself running to him after breaking up with his brother, the last thing she expects is the development of romantic feelings. She's so focused on her up and coming wedding event planning business that she doesn't know how to react when an unexpected romance is in her midst!
I loved a lot about this book--the slow burn, the tension, the "he falls first and harder" dynamic — and the big family saga element does a great job of calling back to other relationships just enough to intrigue you to read the whole series.
Of note for sports romance readers like myself: don't go in expecting a ton of actual football content. Ford being a pro player is very much part of who he is, but the sport is really just background noise here. There are no big game moments or locker room scenes driving the story — it's a romance first, football setting second. Which honestly was okay but sometimes I do love a bit more actual sports content in the books!
I was able to listen to the audiobook for this one, and really enjoyed the narrators as they captured the characters perfectly. 👌
If you're here for the love story — the banter, the tension, the messy family drama — and you also love some spice🌶️, you're going to have a great time. 💃 4 stars from me! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thank you to Valentine PR for the ALC in exchange for my honest review!
Snap Decision by Lisa Suzanne is a deeply emotional and challenging romance that skillfully navigates the complexities of the "brother’s ex" trope. As the fourth installment in the Bradley Legacy series, it captures the high-stakes world of the Bradley family—a clan dealing with a sick mother, a father under investigation, and the constant media glare that follows a family of professional athletes.
Narrated flawlessly by Tim Paige and Lucy Rivers, the story centers on Ford Bradley, a starting tight end in Tampa Bay, and Tatum Barker, a destination wedding planner with ambitious dreams of her own.
For a decade, Tatum was the on-again, off-again girlfriend of Ford’s younger brother, Archer. Throughout those years, Ford remained her constant support and closest friend, silently harboring feelings for her since they first met in school.
When her relationship with Archer finally ends for good, Tatum turns to Ford for a place to stay. This leads to a forced proximity that quickly shifts their dynamic from friendship to something far more intense. What begins as a temporary arrangement and a shared business investment in a new property spirals into a viral fake engagement, forcing them to confront a decade of buried emotions.
The chemistry between Ford and Tatum is defined by delicious tension and "he fell first" energy. While the premise of falling for a brother’s ex can be tricky, the plot is handled with enough backstory and heart to make their connection feel earned and sincere.
Watching Tatum finally listen to her gut and follow her heart—even at the risk of tearing the Bradley family apart—makes for a truly satisfying emotional arc. This book is a fun, steamy, and addictive addition to the series that works perfectly as a standalone. However, it’s hard not to want to dive into the rest of the Bradley clan's stories immediately after finishing.
Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Book 4 in the Bradley series. It a friends to lovers, wrong brother story.
Ford is the starting TE for the Tampa Bay Beast. While most of the family is in Vegas or Chicago, Ford wanted some distance from his father's drama. He has also been in love with his brother's girlfriend, Tatum since high school. That was when they shared their first kiss at a party. But neither ever spoke of it again.
Tatum had a little crush on both Bradley boys. She had classes together with Archer and Ford was a few years older than her. She hung out at the Bradley mansion a lot. She had more of a crush on Ford and the kiss was totally unexpected when it happened that night. But when it was never spoken about again and Ford went off to college she grew closer to Archer during those years.
Tatum and Archer's relationship was off and on over the years. She always would go to Ford to talk about it not realizing he has been in love with her all these years. But after their last breakup she asked Ford if she could come stay with him awhile. And of course Ford said yes. Hoping this might be his chance with Tatum.
Ford is more disciplined and strategic and Tatum is more chaos. She is a wedding planner and has a dream to have several destination venues for her business. And Ford wants to support her dream. As they stay together they grow closer and Tatum realizes her feelings are strong for Ford. Ford loves Tatum but is afraid she may go back to Archer. After they go in together on a venue for her business the seller has one condition. She will return the money to them from the purchase but the first wedding at the venue has to be theirs.
Will they make the snap decision and get married? Is Tatum truly over Archer? Did she pick the wrong brother all those years ago? Lisa is a master at getting us so drawn in to her stories. I can't wait for the next Bradley siblings story.
I will tell anyone who's listening that Lisa Suzanne can do NO wrong! I swear every time I get a new book she just gets better! I have loved every minute of this series but Ford just took my heart!! If you want a book that will have you swooning, laughing, smiling, falling in love and leaving you with the perfect ending then you need this book!
The narrators Tim Paige & Lucy Rivers did a phenomenal job telling Ford & Tatum's story! Their voices will keep you entertained and hold your attention through the entire book. They also made me feel connected to the characters. I felt their chemistry and emotions.
Ford is the next Bradley Brother to get his own story. Ford has a big heart and I fell in love with him instantly! Tatum has been with his brother Archer for years but they are finally over and now Ford has a shot to finally be with Tatum. Everyone knows Ford has been head over heels in love with Tatum or years but he put his feelings aside for her. Now that they are living together as friends its getting harder to be just friends.
The love and support he gives Tatum is AMAZING!! I just love how much he cares for her and their chemistry was off the charts! Of course we are going to deal with the never ending "Legacy" issue with their dad and that will make you mad a few times but besides that this book will make you so happy! I can't wait to see who's story is next in this series!
If you haven't read this series yet please do yourself a favor and grab these books! You won't be disappointed. I HIGHLY recommend this book and series! So sit down with this book and get ready to have the time of your life!
Thank you Lisa Suzanne and Valentine PR for allowing me to listen to the ALC for my honest opinion.
Snap Decision is book 4 in The Bradley Legacy series by Lisa Suzanne. Ford Bradley is the loner Bradley sibling. He plays football for the Tampa Beasts and likes being away from the family drama, but does sometimes comments on the sibling’s text thread. If you’ve read the first three books in this series, and I’d suggest you do before reading this one, you know about the drama. Ford isn’t really grumpy but definitely not the life of the party. He does have a soft spot for his brother Archer’s on again/off again girlfriend, Tatum Barker, that he’s known since they were all teenagers. He’s the friend she runs to during those off again times. Tatum is a wedding planner that dreams of having destination venues.
I haven’t read a Lisa Suzanne book or series that I haven’t loved and to me this series is one of her best. Ford is different I think from any other main male character she has written, but he is still a strong, loving, hardworking man that you can’t help but love. Tatum is a chaotic whirlwind that professionally knows what she wants, but her personal life is a bit of a mess. The main characters are so different but at the same time complement each other in the best way.
I loved catching up with the other Bradley siblings. Their interactions when all seven were back at their childhood home was my favorite part of the book. It was spot on how adult siblings act when together.
The random comments and thoughts about Archer throughout the sty has my mind going twenty different ways and I can’t wait for his book. I was so excited to read at the end of this book that his will be next.
Tatum Barker and Archer Bradley had been together on and off for a decade until now. Of course she turns to the one person she always does, Ford Bradley, yes Archer's older brother. Ford has been in love with Tatum for years, something his whole family knew including Archer but he never thought he would have a chance with her instead settling for friendship. He has always been there for her, supported her, listened to her and that's who she has always felt comfortable with. But this time is different, she has no plans to go back to Archer. Now she needs to decide what direction she wants to take, especially when it comes to her business as a Wedding Planner and where to put down roots. Ford suggests she move into his place in Tampa instead of going back to Vegas and she agrees.
While in Tampa, Ford and Tatum go to look at a wedding venue that's for sale. They decide to go in together to buy it and the seller has a proposition for them---be the first couple to get married there and get their money back which means having to hurry to get married since she's doing a wedding in a few weeks. What could possibly go wrong and who might just show up?
Tatum and Ford have always been close and there is love between them, but there's also issues that have come up, secrets kept, space needed and hurt to heal. And who does she turn to now?
5 stars Once again Lisa has pulled us into the chaos of the Bradley family, with the emotional roller coaster, family dynamics and of course some unknowns. You hurt for Archer but also understand why and at the same time there's questions to be asked. Looking forward to his story.
Oh I’ve been waiting for this one since the moment I finished Red Zone because I knew I was going to love it!!
First of all, I love Ford, I truly love him, he’s been in love with Tatum for so long and he wasn’t in a real relationship because none of the rest of the female population has anything to do against Tatum in his heart, and that tells you how much Ford loves her 😩 he’s so calm and strong and caring with Tatum and is exactly what she needs, she’s beautiful chaos and dreams and she’s so strong and resilient and she just want to be chosen and loved ❤️🩹
Now, I had a little of a hard time with the dynamics with Archer because ahem, he’s Tatum’s ex and Ford’s brother so, it was a very difficult situation between them because Archer and Tatum had been together for almost a decade on a off and Ford is her best friend, so when Archer ended things with her, she says is for good now and do live with Ford for a while only to discover the feelings he always had for her and the feelings she has for him but pushed away, and at some moments this situation has my heart aching for the three of them but hear me out, Archer knew from the beginning that Ford was in love with Tatum so I think he robbed Ford 👀
That being said, I enjoyed this book so much! I loved the way Ford and Tatum found their way together and how their relationship was evolving into something new and safe and full of love, and even when they had some obstacles at the end they knew their love was worth every risk and doubt, and I love them so much 🧡
Now I’m curious about Archer and I’m so glad his is the next book 🙂↔️✨
Can you imagine sharing one unforgettable kiss… and then waiting ten years for that person while they’re in a relationship with your brother?
That’s exactly where we meet Ford and Tatum.
Ford has been all in for Tatum from the beginning, but she’s been completely off-limits because for the past decade she’s been in an on-again, off-again relationship with his brother, Archer. When they finally break things off, this time for good. Tatum runs to the one person who has always been her safe place: Ford.
Tatum is a wedding planner extraordinaire who is determined to build her brand and make a name for herself… even if she secretly believes she may never get the dream wedding she creates for everyone else.
Ford, though? He believes in her dreams just as much as he believes in her. He wants to give her everything she deserves. The question is, can Tatum see him as more than the steady friend who’s always been there?
What makes this story so compelling is that Tatum genuinely has love for both brothers. But the more time she spends with Ford, the clearer it becomes that what she feels for him is different. Deeper. Real in a way that might actually be her future.
Honestly, my heart broke for both Archer and Ford in different ways. Archer is broken in his own way, and now I’m desperately hoping he gets his own HEA.
But Ford and Tatum? Absolute fire.
There’s so much mutual pining, and the chemistry between them simmers just beneath the surface until it finally ignites. And the best part of this story, in my opinion, is Ford himself. He’s steady where Tatum is chaos. Supportive, patient, and quietly devoted.
I loved this book so much! It has been so interesting reading about the Bradley family. This book is about Ford who was so easy to fall in love with. Tatum was a few years younger than Ford and was always with his younger brother Asher. I felt so bad for Ford as he had feelings for Tatum when she was with Asher, and only one time did he kiss Tatum at a party when they were in college but never addressed it. Tatum and Asher lived in Las Vegas, but any time Tatum needed a friend, she always went to Ford. It was sad that Tatum and Asher broke up quite a few times, but always got back together. It was hard to watch the last time Tatum and Asher broke up, she went to Ford in Tampa where he lived and played football. I know it was hard for Ford as he always dreamed about getting together with Tatum. Tatum always had a dream of opening luxury wedding destinations, but didn’t have Asher’s support. I loved how kismet happened when she was in Tampa and a place was on the market that would be a great place for a venue. The heartbreaking part was while this was going on the Bradley’s father was being indicted on federal charges. I really disliked their father as he was always looking out for himself and using his children which caused so many problems. I loved watching all the grown children except for Archer get together and have a good time. Ford and Tatum had ups and downs with their relationship, but I was always rooting for them to be together. I strongly encourage you to read the book.
when I tell you that I am down bad for Ford I am down bad. give me all of the friends to lovers- I will fall every time. Ford has been in love with Tatum for forever and I am so glad that they finally got together. there was a small part of me that felt bad for Archer, but I do like that we got to see him slowly grow as a person. I just know his story is going to be really good too. this story was full of emotion, big feelings, a fake engagement, and a lot of family loyalty. we got to see a lot of the other Bradley siblings in this story and I ate it up. although the circumstances that brought them all together was heartbreaking- I loved seeing how each of them responded to it. we really got to see each of their personalities. I loved how this story expanded more into the Bradley family story, and as always it keeps me wanting more of this family. I felt every emotion while listening to this book and I am very excited to see where Archer's book takes us!
the narration was really good on this one. I really felt like Lucy killed it as Tatum. there was so much emotion in her performance and you could feel the internal struggle that Tatum had between her own feelings throughout the book. Tim did such a good job with his tone and matching each and every moment. I really felt like he portrayed Ford in the exact cadence that I imagined it would be.
read if you like: - football romance - ex's brother - fake engagement - friends to lovers - hidden feelings - lots of family drama
Tatum and Archer break up, and suddenly the dynamic between Tatum and Archer’s brother, Ford, becomes a lot more complicated. Tatum has always been best friends with Ford, and he’s secretly been in love with her for years. She once had a crush on him too, but they both pushed those feelings aside and settled firmly into the friend zone. It’s funny how, once she starts realizing there might be something more between them, all those little moments from the past come rushing back. 🤭
Add a fake relationship to save face, and the story quickly becomes messy — but in the best way. There’s plenty of tension, complicated family dynamics, and emotional history between the characters. Themes of loyalty, trust, and unexpected love run throughout the book. It’s an easy and entertaining read overall, although the pacing felt a bit inconsistent at times.
My favorite character was definitely Ford. He’s present, loyal, and genuinely sweet, which made him very easy to root for.
I really liked Ford and Tatum together, but I found Tatum frustrating a few times, as she seemed more focused on her business than on her relationship with Ford. I’m all about women’s empowerment, but I could also understand Ford’s doubts about Tatum’s intentions.
Ultimately, they both grow a lot as individuals and learn to work together, both professionally and emotionally, forming an amazing team.
I can’t wait to read the next book about Archer. He’s definitely intriguing and deserves his own story!
Lisa's books are always so easy to read and so bingable! Snap Decision is book 4 in The Bradley Legacy and can be read as a standalone.
Tatum and her long term boyfriend just broke up again but this time its final and she turns to the one person who is always there for her, who just so happens to be her ex's brother. Ford has been pining for Tatum for a decade but she has no idea. Now they go into business together so Tatum can live out her dream as a destination wedding planner but the contract comes with a clause they didn't see coming.
I adored Tatum's character! She was fun and sweet and such a delight! Ford was the person Tatum turned to and was always there when she needed him. The chemistry and connection was amazing. I loved all the pinning and you could tell that Ford was ALL IN from the start! Archer, Tatum's ex and Ford's brother, had my heart hurting for him and hope we get his story soon!! He deserves his HEA too!
AUDIO: This was narrated by Tim Paige and Lucy Rivers. Lucy brought the carefree and fun side of Tatum out and was perfect for her character! Tim was great as Ford! Ford's longing and charm was brought to life!

🎧 ALC Review 🎧 Snap Decision by Lisa Suzanne Pub Date: March 23
Well I blew through this audio! Loved this ALC! Professional football player Ford has always had a thing for Tatum—the only problem? She’s his brother’s girlfriend…until they break up. Now newly single, Tatum turns to the one person who has always been there for her: Ford. When the two decide to become business partners, things seem simple—until a clause in their agreement complicates everything.
After a viral engagement, the lines between business and real feelings blur, forcing them to make decisions that could change both of their lives forever. The biggest question of all… which brother will she choose?
I loved this story! It’s packed with fake dating, friends-to-lovers tension, a swoony “he falls first” hero, and a fun pro football setting—plus plenty of 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️.
The audiobook was fantastic and really brought the chemistry and banter between the characters to life. Definitely add this one to your TBR, especially if you love sports romance on audio!
Thank you to @authorlisasuzanne and @valentine_pr_ for this ALC! 💙

The Bradley Legacy Series keeps getting better. Ford Bradley is the pro football player, focused on winning games and staying out of his family drama. She has been in an on and off relationship for years that doesn’t seem right anymore. After the end of said relationship, she turns to the safety of her best friend – Ford. Their temporary living arrangement turns into something deeper, serious and complicated and a snap decision brings them even closer, but insecurities and loyalties threaten their friendship and love for one another. This romance is about genuine connections, family complications, believing and supporting the ones you love and making difficult decisions that impact a lot of people in your life. Lisa Suzanne gives us, as always, strong-minded characters that still need to grow and learn a few things, as well as angst that turns into yearning, yearning that turns into deep desire and deep desire that turns into fire. Snap Decision brings us tension, heartbreak, spice and true love. Thank you for the ARC.
Snap Decision The Bradley Legacy #4 Lisa Suzanne The Bradley family have so much going on… very sick Mum, dodgy dad under investigation and sometimes messy relationships playing out in the media because most of the siblings are NFL or MBL players. Ford Bradley, has been in love with his brother’s girlfriend for a decade, they all met in school and he didn’t take his chance first, now it is water under the bridge. He is a successful footballer, starting tight end in Tampa Bay Florida. Tatum Barker, long time on again, off again girlfriend of Archer Bradley baseball player and Ford’s brother. She always called Ford, at first when she and Asher fought now pretty much everyday. Friends. But Tatum is more than a Vegas WAG, she was a destination wedding planner with big dreams. Emotive, challenging and full of all the feels. I wasn’t sure I would love this with a brother’s ex trope, it was handled well and the plot made sense with enough back story to make it work. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is part of the Bradley Legacy series but can be read as a standalone novel with hea, fun and a little steamy. I received an arc of this book 4 1/2 rounded up to 5 stars
The next chapter in the Bradley family’s series. Does has loved his younger brother’s girlfriend ever since he kissed her before she had started the relationship. So when his brother ends the relationship for good this time she runs to her friend Ford. Tatum runs a successful wedding planning business and a snap decision finds her buying a venue in Florida with Ford. The old lady who sells them the place leaves them with a dilemma. They need to follow some instructions that they make a snap decision to follow. The Bradley family father has been bailed from jail. It still causing trouble. A sad occasion brings the family together and after memories being shared, Ford says he’s selling the family home which nobody likes. Fords younger brother almost ruins his wedding but Tatum makes another snap decision and all is well. As the wedding planning business grows, Ford starts having worries that Tatum maybe using him for his contacts. Then he fails to disclose a decision he has made without consulting her. This time she runs back to his younger brother, can Ford save everything for a HEA?
4.5…This family definitely brings the drama…and I’m truly enjoying it! This time we have Ford and Tatum. Ford is a professional football player and his family is a bit of a mess right now. His mother is extremely ill and his dad has the FBI on his tail…and he might bring some other family members down with him. If that’s not enough…his brothers ex girlfriend is coming to stay with him and he’s not sure he can keep his hands off of her. Tatum is a hot mess. She’s a wedding planner who just ended a long term relationship and she thinks she has a thing for her ex’s brother. This is a well layered read with a lot going on. I’m talking layers upon layers of drama…and I was here for it. Tatum and Ford definitely belong together…they just took the long way to get there. The banter is sassy and the chemistry is undeniable with these two. This family definitely does not disappoint in the drama department…because they definitely bring a lot of it to the table. I am really enjoying this series and can’t wait for the next book…this one’s going to be good!
Ok, I'm obsessed with Tatum and Ford and excited for Archer's story to come...What happens when you meet the girl of your dreams at the same time as your brother? Years of longing. Fear of ruining the friendship, of breaking a brotherhood that's already on thin ice. But, taking the risk of ruining the friendship is better that than regretting it for all time. Luckily for us, it doesn't ruin their friendship, it turns into a SPICY love story. The slow burn, Ford's restraint, the rushed wedding...these two were made for each other and this page turner not only builds on the Bradley family's legacy and sets the stage for Archer's story.
This review feels nonsensical, but I loved the story so much that I can't even form coherent thought! I love Tatum's passion for work and her big ideas and how she pushes forward to get what she wants. I love Ford's romantic side and how he'll do anything for his best friend/love of his life. It's been one of my favorite stories. I couldn't put it down.
Welp, I think I just lost my heart to Ford Bradley. Book 4 from the Bradley Legacy series, a standalone with interconnected characters as we follow the Bradley siblings and the family saga continues. Ford has been pining over his younger brother's girl for over a decade, he's settle into the friendzone and took whatever he could get from Tatum just to stay in her orbit - being her best friend. Tatum has know the Bradleys since school and had a crush on both the brothers - except Ford didn't make a move and Archer did.. so he got the girl.. for a while at least. Ford is full of fear but when all his dreams can come true with Tatum, he jumps head first, Tatum is hesitant but the more time she spends hanging out with Ford, the more feelings develop. A slow burn, high on family tension and drama and a tale of best friends to lovers. Ford might be my favourite Bradley yet!
I voluntarily reviewed a free advance copy of this book provided by the author. The opinions expressed are my own.
Forbidden relationship--brother's ex (this time for real...maybe), pining for decades, and lots of chemistry make for a great foundation for this book. It's an emotional roller coaster as Tatum realizes she may have been with the wrong brother, and Ford learns to trust that she really wants to be with him and not his brother. Add to that a marriage of convenience and the foundation of the relationship is not as solid as it could be--building some suspense around the longevity their relationship. Don't worry--they get their HEA.
I was a little disappointed with how Tatum reacts to something near the end of the book (no spoilers). In my opinion, her reaction was an overreaction and showed she wasn't as committed to the relationship as she could be. This would be a 5 star book if she handled that differently (or recognized that she should have--Ford ultimately does what needs to be done).
I listened to the audiobook...Tim Paige as Ford--chef's kiss. Lucy Rivers does a great job with Tatum's voice, too, but Tim Paige... just perfect.
