My mate.
And that’s one gift, I’ll never give back.

OTT literally never misses with her books, this was no exception. Such a cute short story about a grumpy grizzly bear shifter who hated Christmas until he met his fated mate. Perfect for the holidays! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️

Oh darn he was a real grinch! I thought it was going to be about a real grumpy guy but holy smokes he was literally the Grinch. But when he fell it was just that sweeter of a fall. He meets his mate while trying to ruin Christmas for his town that has turned into a tourist town for the holidays, which he hates. everyone else enjoys it but omg he is just so mean.
But while trying to destroy the towns tree at the tree lighting, he spots his mate and then he will do anything he can to make her happy and give her a wonderful Christmas.
The Grizzly Who Stole Christmas is a short and sweet holiday romance with a fun paranormal twist. Instead of a Grinch, readers meet Boone, a grizzly bear shifter and mountain man who isn’t a fan of Christmas—despite the fact that his bear absolutely loves it. This contrast adds humor and charm to the story and keeps it lighthearted.
The female main character, Veronica, is a news reporter assigned to cover stories about Christmas spirit. Her job brings her straight into Boone’s quiet, isolated life, and the connection between them is instant. As Boone’s fated mate, Veronica fits naturally into his world, and their relationship develops quickly but warmly.
Both Boone and Veronica are portrayed as innocent and sincere characters, which gives the romance a gentle, wholesome feel. The story focuses more on emotional connection and found family rather than drama, making it an easy, quick, and comforting read.
Because it’s a short story, the plot moves fast, but it still delivers a complete happily-ever-after. Overall, this book is perfect for readers looking for a cozy, festive paranormal romance with bear shifters, fated mates, and Christmas vibes.
Super-Hiper-Ultra-Mega-Power recomendado!
Boone was not a happy Grizzly shifter. He did not like all the noisy tourists who were over running his quiet little town. Violet was the reporter that wrote the article that suddenly caused the current growth of the town. Hotels, restaurants, and his usual store wasn't carrying the supplies he needed, in favor of Christmas items. His outrage has him plotting revenge on the town's tree lighting ceremony. While trying to make his grizzly terrorize the people, he scents his mate. She is so caught up by the draw she feels towards the huge bear, and acts as his protection from the law with rifles. So sweet how quickly he realized that his bear was right all along. His mate is everything to him. Wonderful HEA ending. Trish. A.
SAFETY remarks - SAFE: yes - Dual virgin - cheating/sharing: no - ow/om: no - separation/breakups: no - possible triggers: no - HEA: yes
It’s fast pace, short and similar to other stories I’ve read. But it’s a good read.
Each other’s first and only. He didn’t want a mate until he smelled her. His human side was super grumpy until she came into his life.
It was interesting that this shifter was different. Normally I’ve read about the grizzly bear being super grumpy and irritated that he hasn’t found his mate. But this one is cheery. And a happy guy! Searching for his mate in a very happy and hopeful way.
When your unknown shifter mate tries to ruin the Christmas Tree Lighting 🌲
Wow we are talking total grumpy/sunshine at the beginning of this quick, Christmas themed read. Boone doesn’t have his fated mate and to say he isn’t happy to share his town at Christmas with a bunch of tourists is an understatement. Enter Veronica, whose travel article put Wildpeak Village on the map. Just one look and it’s steamy instalove all the way. Just sit back and enjoy 😊 I voluntarily reviewed an author provided copy of this book.
I love all of OTT’s books but especially her shifter ones. I love the fact that her fated mates actually wait for their mates. This story starts with Boone who hates Christmas and everything that comes with it. He gets the bright idea to ruin the town tree lighting. His bear does not approve of this plan and is just there for the festivities until he scents his mate and all hell breaks out. The story is very quick but cute for a holiday palette cleanser.
Grizzly bear shifter Boone is the right combination of grump and mountain man. You can't help but cheer him on as he attempts to steal Christmas from the town and tourist because the writing is on the wall...love is headed his way. Meeting Veronica turns the grumpy grizzly into the sweetest teddy bear and stealing Christmas is how fated mates win with love.
I always know that whenever I read this author it’s gonna be full of instalove and tons of spice! This book had that and so much more. It literally had me laughing out loud from the craziness and then swooning from all the sweetness! This has been one of my favorite holiday novellas I’ve read so far this year. It’s short and spicy… but it also has this incredible couple that will melt your heart!
Omg!! This is the sweetest cutest Christmas love story ever. We get the bubbly Veronica who is the reason Christmas is such a big deal in Wild Peak and the grumpy Boone who absolutely embraces his hatred of Christmas and people but his bear is this happy hopeful part of him and I love it!! Their love story is quick and sweet with zero drama and a HEA that’s just perfect!!!
I wanted to,say grumpy grizzly, but his bear was all for Christmas, but not the human. He hated everything to do with Christmas until he scented his mate. I enjoyed the scene with the candy cane. Once he confessed and told her they were mates they started their HEA. An enjoyable read.
Boone hates Christmas and what it has done to his peaceful little town, so much so he decides to ruin the Christmas Tree lighting by letting his grizzly lose. Unfortunately or fortunately his mate Veronica is at the festival and takes his bear in this sweet tale.
Fast love story between a,grumpy shifter who hates Christmas and the reporter who brought the tourists there. This is a feel good book, makes you laugh and sigh with the love they find. Its amazing how finding the right one can change your whole perspective. Have to read this cute story and enjoy the holidays.
This was an easy read with some smut. I liked Veronica and Boone together. The man didn't know what hit him the moment he saw her. It was cute to see him in denial about wanting a mate and changing his mind in less than a second the moment he met Veronica. It's a good story with no drama.
From rampaging grizzly to teddy bear in seconds. That's how meeting his fated mate made Boone react. A short read (about 75 pages) that is long on Christmas spirit and good will to all, even grumpy bear shifters. I thoroughly enjoyed this feel good story with entertaining characters and storyline. I hope you do too.
A witty, charming sweet and incredibly romantic little treat. I absolutely adored Boone and Veronica. Finding his mate brought out something he never excepted but definitely deserved. I loved every moment of this story.
This was a cute read. The night the grizzly stole Christmas was the night he met his mate. A easy read that hits all the right buttons in my heart. Just in time for Christmas
He is a grizzly grinch who hates Christmas and she is a bubbly reporter who loves Christmas. It's love at first sight. This is a quick read with a happily ever after with no cliffhanger.
There's nothing like finding your forever at time in your life when you think it will never happen and then boom... there they are... bringing with them everything you didn't know you needed.
I liked this short, insta-love story; it's perfect reading for the holidays. Veronica was Boone's mate, and they were destined to be together. I loved the plot and especially the happy ending.
I loved this story. It had me laughing and then grinning. The progression from grumpy bear to loveable bear was an exciting transition with all the holiday feels. Loved the ending!!
-dual POV -no ow/om drama -no separation -no cheating -both virgins -the hero was grumpy but his bear was adorable -likeable heroine -insta love/lust -epilogue: 5 years later -they have a kid and another on the way
When life isn't what your living, A bright light comes forth and changes perspective. Change is a good thing let go and exceptness is a good thing. Loved the change of mind in this story.
Wowee! This was a nice Christmas story. The grizzly is more lovable than the grumpy man himself. Turns out what he needed was the love of a good woman and he got that with our FMC. Now, he is grumpy no more.
