Greyson and September’s second chance is a raw and emotional. Greyson is a man torn between what he sees as two personas-one a talented musician and the other a part of a powerful family name. Losing himself after a surprise revelation, he left behind a love meant to be forever. September is building her career as a PR in the cut throat music world. Assigned to save rockstar Billy Stone, she suddenly is reunited with her past. From there it is a rollercoaster as Greyson is out for forgiveness and a second chance with September. It was an interesting story and I did enjoy the tension as this couple tried to find their way back to each other. For me, at times, I felt it was a bit repetitive on again and off again. Other than that it was a well written rockstar romance.

Reading this reminds me of “The Words” just slightly tamer. The rollercoaster of emotions that comes from not knowing or accepting who you are deep inside.
Both of them, Grayson and September, spent a good portion of their lives comparing themselves to others or what they believe a name represents. Grayson shut himself off from his true feelings. September had a script for every occasion and a to-do list for every activity. They finally realized that they opened up to each other on their own terms but were better together.
When trust became the focus, and Grayson’s nudging, they became a powerhouse individually and collectively. They also mended family by opening up what they once closed off.
Loved The Story - Editing Ruined It To Be 5 Stars!
The best story, the best characters, the great chemistry of the characters was ruined by the poor editing. Some of it subtle some of it obvious. Duplicate epilogue for September??
Ignoring the editing issues, the story, the chemistry between Greyson and September was spot on. Trying to keep track of all the back characters was a little confusing at first but could be fixed with a better introduction of them when they enter the story and their connection to either Greyson or September. Eventually, I figured out who they were. Despite the negatives, I really like this book and recommend reading it
Play Me is a very steamy and also romantic second chance romance between September and Greyson. Their love will strip away all pretense and just get down to the emotional baggage. Their first go around did not end well so call me crazy but I can definitely understand why September is leery of just jumping in and trusting Greyson with her heart again. Instead she is more reticent, even if their chemistry is off the charts hot. She is going to make Greyson prove that he really wants her and he is determined to do just that.
I really thought this book was super sweet, the editing needed work chapters 28 and 29 are the same thing. The book could have ended without the epilogues but they were still sweet. This book was a hallmark movie with a little heat, safe to share with your mom. I loved most of the book I just felt like the “honesty” thing was played on way to hard for way to long. I get it in a relationship honesty is best and being true to yourself is always important but I feel like that drug on for more than half the book taking away from the steam and the characters that are Greyson and September
This is a second chance romance between Greyson and September, who were in a relationship years ago. These flawed but likeable souls and the unique plot make for an enjoyable read. Once they reconnect, it is a bumpy ride with drama and steam, sexual tension and chemistry, forgiveness and redemption, twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters. An emotional page turner.

This is a book I really find hard to say anything negative about because I found the plot was interesting . Love the way the two main characters have history between them but still don’t really no each other that well but boy how things change. Intense storyline with multi layered characters. Well written book that pulled me in in the first chapter and never lost me. Lots of secrets and amazing drama filled scenes. Characters relationship together wasn't without hurdles. Way better than five stars.

This is the first book in the new rockstar series. I enjoyed the story from start to finish, the first person point of view was perfect. The history between these two characters, this entire story was amazing. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Nice read. It has interesting characters in it. But I don't get the adoption. It was never explained and this is the first book I got of this family so I don't understand the big deal.
Enjoyed Grayson and Septembers story. Interesting characters and storyline. So happy that both main characters got together after so many years apart and the love they had for each other was still there. Looking forward to reading more books by this author.
This is such an amazing book. It was super emotional. I love the romance a lot. Thebook had so much amazing growth. The steamy scenes were really well done and hot.
