Packed with fresh flavor, zesty seasonings, and plenty of heat, this eclectic sampling of Southern delights can be enjoyed all year round, with savory fare to warm your bones in Winterfell and frozen desserts to help you keep cool in Sunspear. Inside, you’ll   • Succulent Lemon-Egg Soup; Spicy Shrimp; Roasted Chickpeas. • Mediterranean-style Lamb with Honey, Lemon, and Fiery Peppers; Eggs and Spicy Sausage; Green Peppers Stuffed with Cheese; Spicy Flatbread. • Tasty Blood-Orange Granita; Candied Kumquats; Figs Stuffed with Nuts.   With all the imagination, authenticity, and tongue-in-cheek humor that won A Feast of Ice and Fire a cult following, From the Sands of Dorne is an oasis for foodies everywhere.

Chelsea grew up in rural New York, surrounded by cows and an appreciation for small farms. However, her real love affair with food began during a year abroad in Turkey, which sparked a passion for both food and history, as well as leading her to a degree in Classical History. A lifelong artist and fantasy fan, she greatly enjoys foreign languages, treasure hunting, and all things honey. She currently lives in Boston with several other cooks, and even more eaters, including one very happy Manx Cat.

Turns out, reading cookbooks on a kindle doesn't quite have that magic punch. Will be looking for the actual book so that I can see the pictures of the food in full glory.

This is a nice side "dish" to the bigger cookbook. It's great how they have set up the recipes and make it more to modern taste.

Enter the crazy land of Dorne within the covers of this cookbook. There are some really awesome, really light (mediterranean inspired) dishes!
