The instant, visceral reaction to her that first day we'd met and every day since even after all this time... The compulsion to check on her, provide for her, shield her from harm. It had never been a random attraction or convenient lust. It had been recognition. My body had known what my mind couldn't comprehend, what the system deemed impossible. It's her. It's always been her.

What an absolute gem this book was! From the very first chapter, I fell in love with Blossom's sass and unflappable attitude, and I was completely hooked. Almost immediately we got to witness the sexual tension and undeniable chemistry between Havrek and Blossom, and though they tried to fight it, their connection was so beautiful as it coalesced between them. I loved how Havrek went from surly to completely devoted to his mate, while Blossom learned to lower her defenses as Havrek proved his love and adoration. Their story was absolute perfection and so steamy, and I'm so glad that I found this author🖤
Tropes: fated mates, frenemies-to-lovers, broody and protective hero, sassy and charming down-on-her-luck heroine, forced proximity, forbidden love, grumpy/sunshine, 'I don't like you but I can't stay away' vibes, hate f*cking, pierced peen🍆, soft only for her hero, low angst rom-com, found family, STEAMY🔥🔥

Falling for Cupid
I think I’ve been hit by Cupid’s arrow because I absolutely adored The Cupid Claws!
I’ve had the other two books of this series on my TBR for about a month so when I saw that B. Grimm had released a Cupid themed romance during my Valentines Day reads I knew it was fate and ran to grab it on release day! Blossom and Havrek’s story is absolutely swoon worthy! I loved the combination of a chaos princess throwing glitter wherever she goes and a stoic protector who only shows his sweet side to her! Absolutely phenomenal read and the perfect start to love month! I can’t wait to dive into the previous books on this series!
