Wolfless? Yes, I was born without a wolf soul. But I am more than that. My bloodline carries magic, and soon they will all learn how worthless I truly am.

“Yes, I can—and I will. You are mine now. Reject the idea all you want, you have no choice. I will love you.”
“You're the one who rejected me.”
Raphael’s hand clamps gently on my chin, forcing me to meet his eyes. “Don’t run from me again.” He doesn’t even acknowledge my words. “You should know better than to run from an Alpha.”
“What do you want?”
“I wanted to speak with you, but now…” His voice drops as he leans close, his nose brushing my ear. “Now I want you on your knees…taking me all in.”
Shock floods me, but the image forms in my mind, and my knees weaken. My body doesn't hate the thought. I want to be angry at this man for what he did, but desire burns too strongly.
I close my eyes, turn away, but when I dare look back, his gaze is raking down my body, slow and possessive. If I don’t escape, this man will own me.
Be bold, Valeria. He broke us.
My hand rises, pressing against his chest. He doesn’t move. I drag it upward, caressing his chest until I reach his neck. His eyes never leave mine. I slide my hand to his chin, pulling him closer, and whisper against his lips, “You broke this. You shattered our bond. You don’t get to have me now. Someone else will.”
I release him, pushing just enough to slip free of his grasp. As I walk away, his voice follows, “A mistake I will never make again. I’ll have you. I will win your heart, my beutiful mate.”

Troubling FMC but I love ravens
This book appears to be copied onto one of those apps where you had to watch an ad for every half chapter. I was so happy to see its a real book I can read on KU. It has an interesting premise and I am intrigued with the ravens but the FMC is...frustrating. She gets rejected yet cant stay away from the mate that essentially threw her away. I get he wanted to keep her away from a multiple mate situation that his dad wants to force on him with political matches but then he doesnt get to be posessive with her after that. Mix in his brother who wants her as a second mate (and she even considered it) and I find her...troubling. I wanted her to grow a backbone and be able to stay strong against the mate that rejected her...but she caves just soooo easily. Its not a second chance thing either. It does end on a cliff hanger and im debating if I want to see the outcome of her link with the raven wolf king against her weakness for her attractive ex mate. I was hoping she would be more into Stephen after being rejected or even stand strong about being alone...but it hasn't happened yet. She seems to already be in love with the mate who destroyed her.

3.75 I think. I am actually not certain how I feel about this series. I read all three but the main characters kind of annoyed me, especially Valeria constantly jumping to conclusions regarding Raphael and going to the extremes. I think the one I liked the most in the whole story was Grimm. He was the most sensible out of the whole lot and even then, there were times I was groaning at his actions too. I might come back to this review because I am still undecided. It almost bordered on the miscommunication trope which is an immediate DNF for me.

I like this story, it’s interesting. There’s this part- a page or two, where descendants and ancestors repeatedly get mixed up which is annoying. And sometimes the smut seems a little off, or weird, but the plot about the ravens is really really interesting. Still trying to puzzle out if she’s a descendant of the raven wolf king or his reincarnation and how, but it’s really interesting. It’s definitely not a coincidence she’s fated mates with the descendant of the high king that killed the raven wolf king. Going to keep reading so we shall see.

Couldn’t put down
I am about to purchase the next one. I loved this and came across this on an ad in another reading app. I started it last night and couldn’t put it down. Love it and all the weird twists. Can’t wait to find out more about how it all ties in to Grimm, The Ravens and Raphael.

Valeria’s confidence and fear are portrayed beautifully. Raphael’s psychotic breaks over her are just plain fun. Can’t wait to continue.
