Understanding Retrogrades

Rate this book
Traditional astrology regarded a retrograde natal planet as being weakened, but many of today’s astrologers have different opinions. They see a retrograde planet’s energy as more internalized or strengthened, or that it is associated with delays and confusion. For example, when Mercury is retrograde, mail is often lost, appointments are missed, and communication breaks down. According to the Helen Adams, the author, “For far too long retrograde planets have been misunderstood or not understood at all . . . retrogrades are not really all bad!” Here she presents a guide to interpreting rerograde planets in the natal and progressed chart, as well as by transit, with one chapter devoted to each planet. Also included is practical information about each retrograde planet’s relationship to life activities and events.
