One stupid, stupid man!

The MMC got on my last nerve this entire book! He was way too old to be moving so sloppy and NOT thinking before he acted. He let his ego get the best of him and was making dumb decisions because of it. It just didn't make a lick of sense because it wasn't like he hadn't been in the streets before.

It's crazy because every now and then, the thought of people leaving prison after serving at least five years and seeing how much the world has changed, crosses my mind. This novel brought this thought to life because this guy was trying to live his life like he did back in the late 80s, early 90s. This book begins in 2000, a brand new century, and never once did it cross this guy's mind that things have changed, and you have to move accordingly.

He really had no business going back to the streets. Who, in their right mind, is still in those streets at the age of 38? And WHY is a dope fiend your #2 guy? Come on man!

He just wasn't SMART!

Whoa!! What can I say! This book right here kept me on my toes and wanting to find out what was happening next. It took me a couple of hours to read it because I didn’t want to put it down. I am sooooo ready to see what happens to Cash and if he ever makes it down the aisle. For a minute there I was getting a bad feeling about Slim but I guess that they are really close and Slim wouldn’t do anything to hurt Cash.I will have to see what happens in Block Party 2.
