Hooker: A Pine County Mystery
Jean Oinen, haunted by a poor decision in her past, decides to rectify her mistake and set a new course for her future. She makes two phone calls that spiral into tragedy and leave the Pine County sheriff's department with a few scant clues to the events leading to her disappearance. Is this truly a murder, or has Jean cleverly managed to break the cycle of poor choices that has trapped her?

Book 1 in the series
A well written plot with lots of interesting twists and turns. Set in northern Minnesota. The characters are the kind of people that actually live there. A great story.
