My old friend Brenda illustrated this book, and I love the illustrations. I read the book, and I liked the story. I think this might be a good one to read aloud to children. I loved the "Did You Guess?" chapter since in the story, various animals are described but not named because the narrator Pretty Kitty did not know the names humans assigned to the animals encountered, and there is a paragraph or two of actual information about the animals, and that idea, I applaud. Nice work.

This is such a cute story of a lost kitty finding her fur ever home. I can really imagine myself in the story with the elephants! A must read for all ages!!
