This is my first read by Aisha Washington & was gifted this story in exchange for a review...This story had many characters, short chapters, & offered a look on how the characters dealt with various situations in their love lives. The parents of these siblings, Myesha & Bryon seemed to have a true love that's lasted for many years. Their relationship set the basis for what these siblings wished to have. Although the characters had great dialogue, at times the short chapters & scene switching interrupted my reading flow. This was an ok read as this book possessed realistic situations, all while focused on a positive family & relationships.

Just ok

I got through it. The writing was mediocre and the editing was even worse. I was noisy, however, and wanted to see how everyone ended up.

No story, poor characters and too many of them.
Save yourself 3-4 hours and read something better that has a story line

I was given this book by the author in exchange for a review. I must say that I had already purchased two other books by the author entitled "Back To Good" "And Back In The Groove (New Orleans)" before I was given this book.

I really enjoyed reading "Back In The Groove (Atlanta)". I loved the Jefferson family with the ups and downs and I also enjoy reading about families in general. Even though this book was released October 2014, I don't want to give away the plot and ending away because a lot of people are out there tend to not want to read the book when to much is revealed. This a must read.

Now that have two more books in my collection by this author they are connecting stories I will be reading them.

Thanks you so much Aisha.

Excellent!

I was asked by the author Aisha Washington to read this novel. I'm mad because it took me this long . Ms Washington writes a sensitive novel about the Jefferson's family. This novel really touch the heart,I love the way she brought the family to life and took us through each step of their emotions. We have three generations in this novel who has range of feelings .loss ,happiness , disappointment ,love , understanding ,and faith,no matter the ups and downs of life remember that without faith and family where we would be . I recommend this novel to read you will not be disappointed, I will be buying the other novels in this series.

Back in the Groove

This novel took my breath away, it was so refreshing. The true ups and downs that life throws our way and the resilience of the human heart to with stand the pain in whatever form it takes. Family is what most of us have to see us through. I was not blessed to have a two parent home, but God blessed me with a two grandparent loving home, with loving extended family, and I saw all this in this precious novel. Thank you!

Great Reading....

I loved the way that Ms. Washington made me feel like I w as part of the Jefferson family without being so obvious about it! We were given an glimpse into
Family life that we were rooting for EVERYONE'S happiness without any jealousy overtones... Great book!!! Look forward to the next chapters the characters bring!
Want to know more of their challenges that their going to overcome!!!
