I never paid attention to the care packages that were passed around during my deployment until I was bored one day and finally opened the letter I’d found in mine. What I read changed my life. Something about the woman who wrote it called to my soul. I fell in love without ever seeing her face or hearing her voice. Her letter gave me hope on my darkest days after my plane crashed and I was sent home, a broken shell of the man I’d once been. Being home isn’t all bad though, not when it means I can finally track down Georgia. She has no idea who I am, and I don’t know if she’ll be able to accept me, scars and all. But seeing Georgia for the first time only reinforces what I already she is mine.
Georgia
I have a stalker. One who has been leaving unmarked letters at my door. At first, I wasn’t sure what to think, but he explained he’s the soldier who’d received the care package I sent over a year ago. My letter hadn’t been returnable, so I don’t know how he found me, but now that he has, I can’t say I’m afraid even though I know I should be. Everything he does is to make me happy. I just wish he’d show me his face. He claims I won’t like what I see, but how can that be when I’m falling in love with him? He only comes to me in the dark, and I’m desperate to see him in the light. I want to pull him from the shadows, but I’m afraid of betraying his trust and ruining everything. He says I’m his, but how can we have a future when he doesn’t trust me enough to show me his scars?

A letter to a stranger. A scarred hero. A love that rewrites everything.
When Georgia writes a letter to a soldier as part of a care package, she doesn’t expect it to be read, let alone remembered. But thousands of miles away, Zane reads it once and never lets go. That letter becomes his anchor through trauma and isolation. When he’s back in LA, broken and searching for something real, he finds her. Watching. Waiting. Wanting.
Zane’s not supposed to meet her. Georgia’s not supposed to fall for a stranger who already knows her secrets. But obsession becomes protection, and fear slowly gives way to trust. He watches from a distance. Slips inside her world. Fixes things before she even knows they’re broken. And somehow, she lets him stay.
What starts in silence grows into something raw and consuming. She doesn’t flinch when she sees what he’s been hiding. He sees the version of her no one else bothered to notice. Together, they build something fragile and fierce, bound by heat, honesty, and hard choices. And when the dynamic shifts, it’s Georgia who finds him first.
Their connection transforms them. Georgia learns to open her heart and take up space in her own story. Zane learns to trust, to be seen, and to let himself be loved. What begins as one-sided devotion becomes something equal, electric, and lasting.
A dark, steamy, stalker turned protector romance featuring a scarred hero, hidden cameras, and a love born from one anonymous letter. It explores obsession, isolation, vulnerability, healing, trust, and identity through a slow-burning, emotionally intense bond. It’s about being seen, being chosen, and finding the kind of love that stays.
The Elevator Pitch: A scarred ex-soldier becomes quietly obsessed with the woman whose letter saved him. When he steps out of the shadows and into her life, what begins as surveillance spirals into a dangerously tender connection. It's a dark, emotional romance where obsession becomes devotion and love refuses to look away.
"When I want something... I go after it."~Georgia💘
"I went the extra mile. That's what you do when you love someone."~Georgia💘
I read this short story and tbh, it wasn't quite what I was expecting. I'm still trying to figure out how to feel about it. Don't get me wrong, Ms Hart can write and create worlds of romance and spice with OTT characters and situations. This one went on the edge and off the cliff. Anyway. It starts with a Veterans Day care package and a letter that shared far too many daily and emotional details. Why did Georgia cross that line, especially since she had not shared such thoughts with anyone else? Loneliness. A way to vent. She doesn't have friends. She has a sister but she isn't around. The letter is to an unknown soldier on the other side of the world, who would never know who she is, so why not go for it?🎁💌 And that's where things get squirrelly.
A year later finds Georgia living her life, going to work, the usual. With an unexpected shadow watching her closely and doing things no normal person should be doing. That care package to the unknown soldier has boomeranged back to her in Los Angeles.🪃👤 It's weird how he found her. Remember this guy has a limp, parked down the street, but still caught up to her as she went into her apartment building.🧢😐🏢 Obsessed!
Zane, 35, former pilot, medically retired from the military, bears the scars physically and emotionally from an accident during his tour. That guy... he is the poster man for stranger danger, red flags galore.😱🚩🚩🚩🚩 In the real world, the impulsive and drastic things he did, would not fly. But on these pages, in this book, it's okay and even romanticized, especially by Georgia. As a reader, I didn't like what he did. I'm sorry for the pain he is going through, that he is no longer the same man. I think he had PTSD but it was never discussed. He needs therapy. I understand that her letter is a lifeline for him but... not cool dude. He's focused on Georgia, she makes him feel better, complete. *Slight spoilers.* His list of crossing the line: Stalking. B&E. Making a copy of her apartment key. Cameras in her apartment. Messages on her door. In her home while she sleeps. Telling her what to wear. Where has she been? ((Possessive much. Wants to keep her safe. Are you sure?)) Eventually getting intimate in total darkness. Why? B/c Zane doesn't want for her to see him as he is. He knows it's wrong but he doesn't want to stop it. The kicker, she's okay with it.😳🤯🎥 I didn't like Zane.👤🔍
Georgia.😮💨 I wish she had not put up with half the stuff that he did. That girl is twisted and kinky like him.😂😂 Every pot has a lid. I know she's lonely and wants to feel wanted and desired but Zane got to be too much. It would have been nice if she had been more assertive. She always gave into him and rationalized his behavior. Breadcrumbing. She knows it's happening. But she feels safe.🤷🏼♂️ Georgia has Zane but on his terms. When she asked for him to go slow, did he listen to her?🫢
This book has 8 chapters and an epilogue. For me, the story got better in Chapter 6 till the end. My overall review will be on those last 3 chapters with the epilogue. This is a dark romance... but safe. Safe as in no severe hurt you, instability.😏🙃🔪 Georgia shined at the end. It's a bit rushed but it resolved itself. She finally stood up and was the adult in that relationship. There's plenty of dirty spice and roughness.😚🔥☠️🔥☠️ HEA. Great book cover. Happy reading.*•>§<•*💝💝💝💝
🚩🚩 Read the TWs. This book is for adults.🚩🚩
👨🏻💼🛫👩🏼🏭Thank you to Ms Hart. The opinions shared here are my own.👩🏼🏭🛫👨🏻💼
There’s something quietly intense about Dear Pilot that pulled me in right away. The idea of a single letter changing someone’s life—and leading to a love story built on words, hope, and hidden scars—made this novella feel both emotional and addictive.
Zane and Georgia’s connection starts in such an unusual way, and I loved how their relationship grows from something simple into something deeper and more complicated. Zane is a wounded, protective hero carrying heavy emotional baggage, and his vulnerability beneath the possessive exterior makes him surprisingly compelling. His struggle with his past and fear of being seen added genuine emotion to the story.
Georgia’s perspective balances the romance nicely. Her curiosity, trust, and desire to understand the man behind the letters create a soft but strong emotional core. Watching her navigate the mystery of Zane while falling for him gave the story a steady sense of tension and tenderness.
The novella moves quickly, but it still delivers strong feelings, high emotion, and plenty of heat while focusing on themes of healing, acceptance, and finding connection in unexpected places. It’s dramatic, intense, and definitely leans into its over-the-top romance elements, but that’s part of the fun.
If you enjoy wounded heroes, letter-based romance, and fast-paced instalove stories with emotional stakes and a guaranteed happy ending, this is a quick, engaging read worth checking out.

Georgia is a California girl with a younger sister, Alex, who she always tried to protect from their crazy father. They had no mother to protect them. Alex had received a full-ride scholarship to Texas and is building a new life for herself there. Georgia doubts Alex will return to California since it would only remind her of all the bad times she experienced because of their father.
Georgia works for a record company. The company had sponsored a “Veterans Day care packages” program to send care packages to military members serving overseas. They had also posted, “Optional letters encouraged.” It was mentioned at a company meeting that the packages would be received by military personnel from the LA area. Since it was all anonymous, she had opened her heart and had written things in her letter that she normally would have never told anyone. She wrote about her job and the loneliness in her life.
As she looks at what she's written, it strikes her that this letter looks more like something written to a good friend rather than a stranger. Certain that there's no way the letter can be traced to her, she continues. As she gets to the end of her letter, she writes that she hopes the receiver of her letter has someone waiting for their return, or if not, she hopes they realize that they aren't invisible. She signs it with her first name only. She selects a package from the collection bin, opens it, inserts her letter, reseals the package, and returns it to the bin...
Zane was the person who received the package that Georgia had stuck her letter into. It was as if she actually knew him when she wrote her letter. He read her letter so many times that he had memorized its content and had worn the paper thin.
Then, while on a mission, his jet malfunctioned, and he ejected from the cockpit. However, the parachute was delayed in deploying. The pain was brutal! He woke up later in the hospital with the doctors telling him he was lucky to be alive. He questions that statement.
He lost everything. His military career ended with a medical discharge. He bears scars he will carry for the rest of his life, along with a permanent limp. But he does have a new goal in his life. He plans to find Georgia. After all, how many Georgias can there be in California who work for a record company? The search is on!
Zane has moved into Harbour House, a sort of halfway house. Some residents are former military, like him, while others were in rehab or trying to put their lives together after divorces, death, or career setbacks. The house rule is simple; you're there to get back on your feet without tearing down anyone else while you do that.
He's found her and tracked her to her apartment. He sticks envelopes with his notes to her under her door. She replies with post-it notes attached to her door.
He's picked her lock and entered it. He even made a copy of her key. He's memorized her routine. He's done repairs in her apartment that she knows the landlord owner didn't do. She's becoming interested in him. That is until she finds one of his hidden cameras...
Is this budding relationship kaput before she ever lays eyes on him?

Dear Pilot is an achingly emotional romance that proves love can take root in the unlikeliest of places—and survive even the deepest scars.
Zane’s journey begins with a single letter tucked inside a care package during deployment. One message. One stranger’s words. And suddenly, hope has a name. Long before he ever knows Georgia’s face or voice, he knows her heart—and it becomes the lifeline that carries him through unimaginable darkness after his plane crash and honorable discharge. Broken in body and spirit, Zane believes he’s unworthy of love… but he can’t stop himself from searching for the woman who unknowingly saved his life.
Georgia never expects her small act of kindness to come back to her doorstep in the form of unmarked letters and a mysterious man who only appears in the dark. Yet instead of fear, she feels connection. Comfort. Curiosity. The slow, breathtaking pull of falling in love with someone she hasn’t truly seen.
The push and pull between them is intense and addictive—Zane hiding in the shadows, convinced his scars make him unlovable, and Georgia yearning to pull him into the light, certain that the man behind the wounds is worth everything. Their bond, built through letters, quiet moments, and raw honesty, feels intimate, consuming, and deeply earned.
This story is tender, angsty, and beautifully romantic, with just the right touch of heat and a whole lot of heart. It’s about choosing vulnerability. About trusting someone with the parts of you that hurt the most. About realizing you don’t have to be whole to be worthy of love.
If you adore emotional, letter-based romances, wounded heroes, and soul-deep connections, Dear Pilot will absolutely wreck you in the best possible way.

Georgia managed all of the Veterans Day care packages that were destined for military personnel away from home. It was strongly recommended to also send letters, which Georgia took more seriously than others may have. She poured her heart out into that letter, but gave no return address, and only her first name.
One year and a bit later, Zane, who received her letter, is tracking his author down. She has no idea what her letter did for him, how it kept him sane, even after a career-ending accident when his jet malfunctioned. He’s done his homework, and figured out who Georgia is, because she said in her letter she worked for a record label. He’s going to meet her…someday.
It’s clear that Zane sees himself as damaged goods, especially with all the scars from his parachute not deploying in a timely manner after he ejected from his jet. People can be really rude without meaning to, and he’s convinced himself he’s not worthy of something so beautiful as Georgia.
Funny thing is, Georgia has a completely different opinion on that.
He doesn’t hide the fact that he’s watching her. She’s a smart woman, and she knows when someone’s been in her apartment. He’s not leaving her gifts exactly, more like fixing a leaky pipe and some off-kilter cabinet doors. Nothing frightening, nothing over the top. Just a man taking care of his woman.
Some of the things that both characters have been through really hurt my heart. All the more reason that it’s so satisfying when these two come together, giving each other healing without forcing anything.
If you like steamy romances with a man who would do anything for his woman, you’ve just found the book for you. Give it a go, and enjoy!
Writing a simple note to put with the care packages for overseas vets should have been an easy task for Georgia. But due to the melancholy mood she was in she writes an in depth story of her life as it is now. Before she can doubt herself she seals the envelope and care package and places it with all the others. One year later....and enter Zane. Once a pilot who has been medically discharged after sever injuries following his jet crash, he finds the girl who wrote a letter and placed it in a care package. His care package! He kept that letter with him and read it constantly, as it helped keep him grounded when things got tough. He hunted down Georgia once he was back on U.S. soil. He needed to see the girl behind the letter. Hidden in shadow, he begins to stalk her.....Not the evil stalker kind, the friendly kind.....if placing cameras in her home and watching her could be called friendly.?! Anyhoo....Georgia finds one of the cameras, and they begin chatting...as they also had audio attached....yeh, I know, right?? Red flags waving LOL One thing leads to another and they do meet. In the dark! At her flat!. Zane is scarred. Not only on the outside but the inside as well. He cannot trust Georgia enough to let his guard down. Let her see the man he has become. An interesting quick read as Zane and Georgia navigate the emotional baggage that Zane carries and she is hoping to break his walls down and let him see that she is indeed the real deal. The woman for him! A romance with all the feels, with plenty of bedroom action to keep the fires burning! Do they get their HEA? Yeh of course they do. Cassie Hart never disappoints in that department, but how do they reach it is where you will have to take the plunge and have a read of Zane and Georgia's story
Dear Pilot was a steamy, OTT romance with a dark twist. We meet Zane, a morally gray retired Vet with scars both on the inside and out, and Georgia, the woman who saved him by just writing a note. Watching these characters come together to protect and fight for each other was simply heartwarming. I don't read a lot of romances with a morally gray hero, so it took me a smidge longer to warm up to Zane, but once I did, I was a goner. He protected and shielded Georgia from the darkness. He looked out for her from afar, until he could not resist her any longer. Geogria is lonely. She's sheltered and keeps to herself, almost to the point where she ignores her own well being. When Zane swoops in, she's torn for all of 2 seconds. She feels safe with him by and she quickly lowers her walls. Meanwhile, it takes longer for Zane's walls to crumble. Together, they complete and heal one another.
I had fun reading Dear Pilot. It was a little darker than I expected, but that just added to Zane and Georgia's story. It was steamy, yet touching. Their romance broke my heart, and had me reaching for a fan during the steamier scenes. Really fun novella all around.
I received an advance copy. All opinions are my own.
Short but addictive so hang on you won’t put it down until the last page has been turned. Georgia took her responsibility seriously handling the Veterans Day care packages destined for the guys away from home, but she was also told to write a letter putting her everything into that letter but of course she sent it with no return address and only a first name but boy did that letter leave an impression. Zane sexy as all get out soldier who received her letter with just a first name to go by he wasn’t giving up on finding the author, she had no idea how her letter kept him grounded in the worse time especially after his jet malfunctioned ending his career, and after a year of investigating he narrowed it down to one women who worked for a record label he planned to meet her. Zane doesn’t see himself as complete with his scares but our girl doesn’t even see his scares she sees him or the leaky pipe, the cabinet doors he fixes but the more time they spend around each other the more they heal each other without even trying, but also the magnetic pull between grows stronger them but is it enough, will she see despite his scares he is the man for her, and can two broken souls find happiness together?
"Dear Pilot" by Cassi Hart is the seventh book in the multi-author Naughty Notes series. This sweet and heartfelt love story follows Georgia and Zane on an emotional journey that begins with a letter Georgia never imagined anyone would read in a care package. For Zane, however, that letter became everything. He read it over and over during the past year, using it to pull him out of his darkest days following his painful past, including a plane crash and his departure from the military.
Zane finds himself compelled to seek out Georgia, convinced she is the one for him. Despite his strong feelings, he hesitates to meet her in person, fearing he is too broken for love. Georgia, on the other hand, is understanding, tender, and kind. Their connection is intense and passionate. Together, Zane and Georgia are perfectly matched as they let down their walls and welcome love into their lives. Through their emotional vulnerability, they build a stronger relationship and embark on a healthy journey toward their happily ever after.

Dear Pilot by Cassi Hart is part of the multi author Naughty Notes series and was a great read. As an instalove, ex-military, safe stalker romance the plot and storyline was completely engaging and the main characters of Zane, the older, scarred, morally grey, obsessive pilot and Georgia, a younger, virgin heroine who once wrote a letter Zane received via service care package that kept him going through his service, accident and recovery, had me hooked quickly. Zane fell in love with the woman that wrote the letter and has tracked her down and safely stalked her, getting to know her whilst trying convince himself to step into the light and meet her. Georgia receives a letter from Zane and slowly realises that Zane is watching and looking out for her and through messages and acts of care, feels safe. Their attraction and feelings towards one another grow regardless of the unconventional developing relationship and the chemistry sizzles. The steam and spiciness in the shadows and the navigation towards a HEA had me turning the pages right through to the very end. I would definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed the first half of the book. I loved the setup, with the letter and how it created Zane’s obsession. It was touching and romantic. And I also liked how equally twisted he and Georgia were, when it came to how their stalker romance was progressing. The sensual stalker-related teasing was just right for the tone.
However, the second half got more so-so. I understood Zane’s struggles and self-consciousness, with everything he’d suffered. But it did get to the point that he got on my nerves. For a long time, their relationship, despite Zane’s struggles, felt too one-sided, with his demands being met and hers being ignored. I kept wishing she would stop letting him have his way so easily. And then he pulled a stunt that frustrated me so much I almost abandoned the book. Luckily, the book seemed self-aware when it came to how irritating Zane was being, and things didn’t get too out of hand. So I ended up finishing the book and giving it four stars, instead of the three it otherwise would’ve gotten.
Overall, it was a nice little Valentine’s treat.

Dear Pilot is one of the eight stories in the Naughty Notes series for Valentine's Day that are from different romance authors. This is a sweet and interesting quick read novella that is well written and has a compelling storyline.
There is an emotional connection that develops between Zane and Georgia which takes hold following Georgia sending an anonymous letter as part of a care package shipped to military members overseas.
I really felt for Zane as he struggled with his insecurities and self-image. As he pursues Georgia, a stalker vibe (non-threatening) connection develops. He is driven to protect and care for Georgia, but didn't want her to reject him because of his scars and injuries. Georgia is compassionate, understanding, strong and also seeks a deep connection built on love and acceptance.
I recommend this heartfelt, sweet story about two people who create their own path and find the love and support that creates a lasting relationship. The instant chemistry helps to drive the heat up between them too!
This is part of the Naughty Notes multi author series and features Zane, a former military pilot, forced to retire due to injuries incurred during an inflight emergency. It was only the note written by a stranger, included in a care package, that helped him through his long recovery.
Georgia, the FMC, never expected to meet the person she’d written to, she was mostly venting, putting her thoughts and feelings on paper but she didn’t take into account a man’s determination either. The lengths Zane was willing to go to to make sure she was safe should probably be a red flag but she ate it up!
For a book, this had a hot little storyline but it kinda gave me the heebie jeebies a little bit too. In real life, if a man were to pull the same thing on me, I would’ve been bookin’ it outta there so fast his head would spin but, here it worked. Give this one a chance, it’s got all of the steam and obsessed men we’ve come to expect from the author. 4.5 stars

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Loved it. Emotional, intense, and heartfelt
Dear Pilot hit hard in the best way. The internal battle Zane goes through—his pain, his scars, and his fear of being seen—made this story so emotional and real. Falling in love through letters before ever meeting added such a beautiful depth to their connection.
Georgia’s longing, patience, and quiet strength balanced Zane perfectly. I loved the tension of him hiding in the shadows and her desperate need to pull him into the light. Their love felt intense, consuming, and earned, especially as Zane wrestled with trusting her enough to truly let her see him.
This was tender, steamy, and full of angst in all the right ways. A powerful reminder that love isn’t about perfection—it’s about vulnerability, trust, and choosing each other anyway. Absolutely worth five stars. 💌✈️.

This book was unexpectedly sweet and endearing. And of course had its moments of heat and tension. I fell in love with the characters. Zane was impossible not to love and want to comfort. He felt so broken and unworthy when in Georgia’s eyes he was never anything but beautiful. Even before she saw him he was beautiful to her. His soul spoke to hers and it was one of the more endearing and touching moments I’ve read. Zane is a protector. He wants to care for Georgia in all ways that matter. It’s not a physical bond that pulls them together, although that comes later for sure. Her vulnerability and realness in her letter kept Zane grounded and he needed that more than anything. Georgia felt safe and protected, and that’s precisely what she needed. These two together were heart warming and the definition of a fated love. Too precious for words to do it justice.
Dear Pilot is just simply wow! This creative and heart wrenching story features military veteran Zane who has endured much physical trauma, surviving by fixating on Georgia, a lovely and lonely woman. Zane’s determination to find this woman, who doesn’t even know him but whose words kept him going though the hardest of times, is by turns alarming and boundary-less. That Georgia likes his behavior is fascinating, and the relationship these two build is intense. I love that she sees him for who he is, without judgement on his physical appearance, and that she stands up to him and for him. The chemistry is off the charts, and in true Cassi Hart form the story flies by hella quick with her engaging writing and easy flow. So, if you’re into the safe stalker trope, this one is for you.

Georgia is lonely now that her sister has gone off to college. She decides to participate in sending a care package for service men, she writes a personal note instead a generic note. Zane is a pilot and the receiver of the care package she sent. The letter strikes a chord in him, he keeps it and reads over and over, it was everything to him when he had ejected from his aircraft and got injured. He is determined to find her, he knows she works for a record company in LA. He keeps to the shadows at first due to his injuries. Though he stalks her, she does not feel uncomfortable with him being around. She is impatient to meet him, how long will he make her wait? This an a short and steamy read, with lots of emotions.

The letter that started this romance was tucked into a care package meant for a random soldier. In it, Georgia wrote honestly and sincerely, and made Zane, the soldier who received it, fall in love with her. After an accident ends his military career, Zane tracks Georgia down and engages in some safe stalking. They exchange notes. He breaks into her apartment and makes repairs, then leaves hidden cameras behind. Luckily for Zane, Georgia is apparently colorblind because instead of a red flag, she sees a fuzzy, protective blanket. It’s Instalove, and over the top in that Cassi Hart way. Somehow, the book ends up as a romance full of heat rather than a Dateline special, and it manages to be quite entertaining. There’s no cheating, no SA, and no major triggers. Just heat and Instalove, so enjoy.

Stalking theme, HEA Putting aside the stalking theme, this book is well written with good character concepts. It is a standalone, HEA story where a single letter made all the difference to a deployed serviceman. Themes of stalking, home trespassing, surveillance, and voyeurism. All non-threatening and no physical violence presented. While this may seem a lot, both MCs are consenting adults and the FMC is open and accepting of the behaviour. Once I put the themes aside this was an enjoyable read. It does go to show how one small act of kindness can mean all the whole world to someone who is suffering and in need. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
What started out as a random friendly letter to a serviceman becomes a heartwarming love story. Georgia is shy, hardworking but lonely, she volunteers to send a letter to an unknown serving pilot where she writes with honesty all that’s she is feeling, thinking that they will never meet. Zane is the pilot that receives the letter and without ever meeting falls for her, during all his traumas and his injuries the only thing keeping him going is finding Georgia. A love story tinged with sadness, stalking of sorts, so much heat, a brave but damaged mmc and an amazingly beautiful FMc that just wants to be loved. They are kindred spirits and Im so happy they got the ever after they deserved. Beautiful, heartwarming and steamy story.
Zane gets a letter while deployed several months later he's honerably discharged after an accident. He finds the woman who wrote the letter and in a sense stalks her. He fell in love with her through her letter and wants to get to see her. He doesn't feel like he is worthy of her or anyone else either. They get to know each other through little notes and the security cameras he set up in her apartment. When he walks away after she tells him that she loves him she stalks and finds him and the rest is history. This was a light hearted book that didn't take long at all to read. I'm looking forward to the next book.

This book is part of a multi author series called Naughty Notes. Tropes: military, pen pal, scarred hero, lite stalking, age gap, and innocent FMC. Georgia wrote one letter in a pen pal exchange for the military for her city. Zane held onto that letter which got him through injuries they left him scarred. After being released from the military he starts stalking Georgia. I really liked the characters. Yes Zane's behavior in real life would be screaming red flags and criminal offense but in books it works. I understood his reasonings and fear of Georgia seeing him with his scars. Georgia was stronger than he believed and loved him no matter what. Enjoyable read.
This was a sweet story of how a letter to the troops went to a man who needed it the most to make it through his own hard time of recovery from loosing everything he had worked for and to recover his injuries. Zane kept that letter from this woman who has come to mean everything to him through simple truthful words. The way these two come together makes for a fun read and so sweet. A lot of insecurities that are needed to to overcome in order for Zane to fully open himself up to Georgia. I enjoyed every moment of this read and can't wait to see what else comes this way. This is a must read!!
Georgia sends a care package with a letter and doesn't expect anything to come from it. However, the individual who received the letter has been helped by the love and care in her letter and feels a desire to meet her. Zane was injured during his enlistment and one of the things that has kept him going is the letter from Georgia. He knows he needs to meet her, but he wants to do it on his terms. There are some light dark themes in this story, but Georgia didn't seem to mind the things Zane was doing in order for them to be together. This was a cute read and I loved how both were caring and loving towards the other.
Zane fell in love with Georgia before he ever saw her face. Now that he's back on American soil and has tracked her down. Watching from a distance but not silently. Leaving her notes and spending nights with her in darkness but what will happen when Georgia accidently turns the lights on and reveals everything he wanted to keep hidden? A fantastic, stalker, Love from a distance, story with a great happy ending! Although slightly stalker, never once dangerous. A heart pumping -feel good story from start to finish.
